Took a chance and didn't book but we were found a table which was lucky as there aren't many covers inside and it was fairly busy. Loved the view - even though it was dark! What a fabulous restaurant. The staff were all so good - professional but friendly. The fish soup was very good - quite different to usual fish soup - tomatoey with plenty of seafood. The monk fish wrapped in ham was huge. The steak with mushrooms came with a delicious sauce. Great experience.

We had lunch at La vista during our trip to lake como , last week of October 2023. The experience was delightful 🙂 The seating overlooking the lake is just beautiful. We tried sea bass and stuffed chicken. The staff are very polite and we're happy to assist us with suggestions. Reservations in advance could be a good idea since it's quite busy in tourist season. It's closed for off season holidays in November.

Our meal was so delicious, the atmosphere so lovely and the young hip waitstaff so professional that we returned two days later for another meal .

10/10 - arrived early for lunch and had a superb view of Como and the town. Food was the best we have had around the lake and appreciated the vegan/vegetarian menu offering as well. Service was kind and attentive.

Fabulous place to dine in Varenna, the food was exquisite, all the dishes sound amazing and it is hard to pick - would recommend the 4 course menu to enjoy as many incredible dishes as possible. The clam risotto was fabulous. As was the steak tartare.
