05/05/2024: Travel back in time with great food We were lucky that the trattoria was directly opposite the house where we stayed for a week. It made sense that we would stop there for dinner. Service: The lady in service was very friendly and took care of our well-being. The interaction with the children was also friendly but reserved. Very pleasant demeanor. Our 1-2 comprehension questions about food were answered patiently. The various dishes arrived in a timely manner and were obviously freshly prepared from the kitchen. - 5/5 Eat: Both my first course (ravioli with meat filling) and second course (beef slices) were really great. The sauce with the ravioli was amazing and I couldn't help but eat the rest with bread. The medium beef slices were fried to perfection and turned out incredibly well with just a few ingredients (oil and pepper). I was happy afterwards. - 5/5 Price-performance ratio: The prices for the dishes are slightly below average for the Lecco area. Given the quality on offer, it's definitely worth a visit in terms of price. - 5/5 Conclusion: Depending on where you are in Lecco, the restaurant is not necessarily close to the center. I can still only recommend everyone to do the route. Not only do you get great food at the “Trattoria Canto Giovanella”, but you can still breathe history in the building. The interior design looks like you have embarked on a little journey through time when you enter the building. Full points! - 5/5

25/05/2024: A great restaurant! The welcome and service are perfect, the dishes are delicious! Typical Italian cuisine, prices are very affordable. You can eat there until late in the evening and Patricio is great! I recommend 1000%!

21/03/2024: It can be reached on foot from the cable car with a quiet walk. Excellent recommended stop, moderate prices and menu combinations. Really good and plentiful first and second courses, desserts and coffee on par with the previous dishes. WINTER Well heated room, large terrace with tables in the sun. Lawn with deckchairs. Ski storage and 30M walk. SUMMER large terrace with tables and large umbrellas. Lawn with deckchairs and games for children and goats. Beautiful view of the area from above.

12/03/2024: Cozy trattoria-style restaurant. Menu of the day and à la carte. I opted for the main course, a single course with first course, second course and side dish. Good, well seasoned. The only flaw was that the restaurant's typical dish, cassœula, was not available. Correct price. Service, quick and kind. Would I go back? Yes
