Ristorante Da Giovannino In Malgrate

I went with my family today, Easter Monday 2026, and I have to say I was truly satisfied. The spaghetti with onion and guanciale was excellent, as were the pizzas and the ricotta cake. Special thanks to the friendly and efficient staff. I would definitely recommend it and return. The prices aren't cheap, but it's definitely worth it. If I really had to comment on something, it would be the portions of the first courses, which are a bit too small, but that doesn't detract from the overall positive experience. Pia Laurello

I've been to Da Giovannino and had a very positive experience. The wait staff is very kind, attentive, and attentive, without ever being intrusive: truly meticulous service. The prices are in line with other restaurants in the area and absolutely consistent with the setting and the quality offered. The quality of the dishes is beyond dispute: I found everything fresh, well-prepared, and of excellent quality. The wine was also good; the only small complaint was the glass, which seemed more like a half-glass than a glass... but that's really the only thing that could be improved. The added bonus is undoubtedly the spectacular view of the lake, right in front, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The setting is refined, with soft music and a relaxing atmosphere. Parking: There are several nearby, although it must be said that, being a very touristy area, it can be difficult to find in high season. Overall, a restaurant I recommend for its quality, service, and location.
