16/08/2026: A cool evening in Ballabio. We booked outside, but they put us on the veranda...no big deal, it's also nice and very open. The staff is friendly, still a little inexperienced perhaps...but as I said, friendly. We opted for pizza and dessert, six different pizzas, and we found them delicious, with a good dough, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The restaurant menu is interesting. We'll come and try that too. Thanks

14/08/2026: I visited this restaurant for an evening meal and, as I’m not local, I wasn’t aware that reservations were required for the outdoor garden area. A waitress informed me that the outside seating was only available with a reservation, but that there were spaces inside. I went indoors, and as I approached a table I was abruptly shouted at by a bald, middle‑aged staff member who told me I needed to ask permission before sitting down — despite the fact I had spoken with his colleague moments earlier. Being addressed in such a rude and confrontational manner, especially in front of other customers, was completely unacceptable. The behaviour was shocking enough that I chose to leave immediately. This interaction reflects a serious lack of professionalism and respect, and it left a very negative impression of the establishment.
