08/05/2025: This bar feels like a time capsule — and not in a good way. The elderly owners also work as waiters, which is touching but also worrying, as they seem overwhelmed and frail. The furniture is outdated, and everything around feels worn and on the verge of falling apart. At moments, we genuinely felt like the waiter might collapse before bringing the order. It has a kind of nostalgic charm, but overall the place desperately needs a refresh — both in energy and environment.

04/05/2025: My family ( 2 adults, one kid ) came together with other group of guests. There were a lot of spare tables. Nevertheless owners and waiters looked as us with such a surprise like we came into their private house and they said that there is no tables for us. Although the other group was seated. Usually I prefer to leave such attitude to the owners' conscience, but this time I was too upset

11/05/2025: Family restaurant, smiles and kindness are not lacking and that counts a lot!! And what about the dishes? Abundant and delicious!! The risotto with perch is delicious, but the rest is also worth it!! It is really worth eating in this restaurant, both for the good food and for the environment!! As a couple or with friends, a good impression is guaranteed!!

12/05/2025: Excellent restaurant, you can enjoy a wonderful view. There are 2 rooms, one a little larger for large tables. Local dishes, fresh, good and plentiful. The price is excellent. The only sore point is the difficulty in finding parking, which in any case is located in the immediate vicinity.

18/05/2025: We took a takeaway from this restaurant. 2 first courses (Pizzoccheri della Valtellina and casoncelli alla Bergamasca) a second course (deer stew with polenta) and two beers (33 cl Kozel). Total €40, we ate for two without being able to finish everything and eating just enough. Excellent quality and value for money!! The staff at the restaurant was very courteous, friendly and welcoming, to have people like that around! Highly recommended! P.s. the plating attached is not authoritative. It is not the restaurant's job since we chose takeaway

01/06/2025: After my positive stay last year, this year I have to give a bad review, on the blackboard outside there was a list of sandwiches so we went in for lunch and were told that they don't make sandwiches, we still took two platters each without drinking since we already had three bottles of water that we had bought from them before starting the walk a couple of hours before. The first thing that really annoyed us was the way we were scolded for joking by "lying down" on the bench after seeing two cushions, however we apologized but the owner didn't want to get the irony and scolded us in a bad way, the two platters arrived quite abundant even if with little cheese, the cured meats were good, we went to pay and were asked if we had also added water and we replied that we had already had them before entering the restaurant. We leave the place and head towards the car parked in front, after about two minutes we see the cashier running after us all out of breath insinuating that we hadn't paid for the water and that it was the colleague who had brought it to the table with the cutting boards... we repeat again that we already had it, and that we would have paid it back in case they didn't remember or to avoid mix-ups, but they preferred to raise a fuss and make all the people on the veranda who were calmly having lunch turn around, the waiter in the end tried to apologize to the customers blaming us for being rude, as if paying for the water twice by their mistake was normal. The next time we visit the Piani dei Resinelli, we will avoid this place regardless, especially for the poor quality of the service.

25/05/2025: We celebrated my son's communion a week ago. We were a large group, fantastic location thanks to the wonderful lake view. Very good food both meat and fish. Very generous portions. Kind and very helpful owners. We will definitely return.

Ivonne, she served me, very good, both in explaining everything they sell, precise, I had never been in their shop! advice on how to preserve or cook everything!!! I ate the sliced ​​meat... no knife needed... so tender!!! very satisfied.....! they also sell online.... and, on request, they also vacuum-pack! they have everything and more...!!!!!

27/05/2025: I had an amazing birthday dinner in this gorgeous, fairytale-like location. The place is nestled in the heart of the lush greenery of Montevecchia, where you can admire the hills and mountains while enjoying a great glass of wine and delicious food prepared with care and rich flavors. We made some beautiful new memories. Grazie mille!

21/05/2025: Great food, beautiful location (feels luxurious but rustic) and very friendly staff. Got the steak with mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes, which was very good (4/5) and then the tiramisu as dessert - best one in Italy during this trip. We even got a taste of homemade limoncello just before our journey home. Top marks.

18/05/2025: If I could give half a star I would give it: I recently visited a restaurant that, unfortunately, significantly failed to meet my expectations. My experience was marred by rude and unprofessional behavior from the staff, which made for a very unpleasant evening. From the moment we arrived, we noticed an atmosphere of confusion. The staff never smiled and answered our questions about the menu in a brusque tone. The food, while not bad, arrived significantly late and in the wrong order, which further fueled our frustration. When we tried to get the staff's attention to resolve the situation, we were ignored and treated like an inconvenience rather than a customer. Furthermore, the hygiene of the place left much to be desired. The tables were dirty and the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. This lack of care was not only unacceptable, but also contributed to a general sense of unease. In conclusion, this restaurant experience was disappointing in every way, from the customer service management to the cleanliness of the place. I would not recommend this place to anyone and hope they can review their practices to improve customer experience in the future.

11/05/2025: Qualità buona ma prezzo eccessivo. Presentato menù con prezzi parziali. Assenti prezzi dolci : scoperto poi ananas macerata 6.50 € e tortino caprese con pallina gelato 7 €, acqua 3€, caffè. 2.50€. Ambiente gradevole, servizio rapido e cortese.

24/05/2025: Restaurant located in a beautiful little square in the hilly part of Mandello. Really characteristic and relaxing outdoor veranda. The interior is also welcoming. Very courteous and attentive service. The menu is complete with regional cuisine and also seafood. The food we tried was excellent (tagliata with polenta and porcini mushrooms).
