20/10/2025: Gourmet sandwiches?? Gourmet ham???? Are you kidding? A bar in a rural area where sandwiches cost at least €8 and you have to wait half an hour for them? We've lost touch with reality. If I wanted to eat at a restaurant, I'd go there!

13/12/2025: Takeout pizzas, one with kamut dough. My rating is low; the dough is chewy and the ingredients aren't of the highest quality. I don't think I'll order a pizza from them again!

19/11/2025: I can only agree with the excellent comments of other users. We arrived in Valsassina for a motorcycle ride. The valley, wild and beautiful, led us to the only open osteria in the area. Only a few tables, all occupied. A stove was lit to warm us from the 2°C outside. The lady, occasionally alone in the kitchen and dining room, despite the difficulty of managing everything alone, welcomed us very graciously, apologizing in advance if we encountered poor service. Instead, we ate excellent baked macaroni pasticciati and polenta with veal. If these dishes were already excellent, who knows how succulent those prepared by the cook (the lady's mother), who was absent today, must be. To finish, an excellent coffee accompanied by two bites of crostata. All accompanied by a bottle of water (don't drink alcohol if you're driving, especially since the [only] road is very narrow and winding) for €26. Rating: meal 10, hospitality 10+++. It takes courage and love to stay and live in these places lost in the middle of nowhere, and here they prove it beautifully. If we ever come back, it will be a pleasantly obligatory stop.

25/09/2025: We had a wonderful dinner at Ristorante Al Batel on our last night in Lake Como. The restaurant has a casual, welcoming vibe and is clearly popular with locals—it filled up quickly as soon as we sat down. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed the ravioli filled with fish and the gnocchi, both of which were outstanding. Be sure not to miss the homemade desserts! A special and authentic experience that made for the perfect ending to our trip.

15/09/2025: A comfortable and welcoming family-run retreat. Excellent traditional local cuisine, especially the delicious homemade desserts. The view of the Biandino and Valvarrone valleys is priceless.

28/08/2025: We stayed at the refuge the night between August 24 and August 25, and had a great time! The staff was friendly, calm, welcoming, and always available to answer guests' questions. The refuge, if you start from Alpe Paglio, is located behind a small ridge (so it's not visible until the last stretch of the trail). The rooms are very comfortable, with comfortable beds (despite being bunk beds), and clean bathrooms. I believe the dinner service changes daily and includes a first course, a second course, a dessert, and coffee. In my case, as a vegetarian, I chose tagliatelle with cream and zucchini, polenta accompanied by local cheeses, and a panna cotta with berries. Everything was excellent and the portions generous. Breakfast was perhaps a little sparse (yogurt, cereal, toast) and lacked savory options, but since it's self-service, you can easily go back for a second go. I highly recommend it; the price for half board, considering the quality of the service, is very reasonable! We felt in a very familiar and peaceful environment☺️

28/11/2025: Very nice location, attentive and courteous staff, excellent food. The only drawback is the difficulty in parking (especially, I imagine, on certain special holidays).

10/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant, ordering two eggs with truffles as an appetizer at the price indicated on the menu of 10 euros each. Nowhere did it indicate that the truffle would be grated on top, much less the price per gram. When the eggs arrived, it was obviously too late to return them, so we ended up paying 50 euros for two eggs with 3 grams of truffle in total. I think everything should be more clearly stated, including the type of truffle, since according to the menu, 10 euros is the final price of the dish. The location is beautiful, with a central dining room featuring large windows, and the first courses were good.

08/10/2025: We had a lovely stay in early September to attend a wedding nearby. Wonderful location, attentive staff, and the food was great too! Lake Como is truly beautiful and this small Inn is a great choice for accommodations.

05/09/2025: Great location in the heart of town; we found a free parking space in the public parking lot despite it being a holiday. The room was clean, the bathroom a bit small, but adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only the breakfast was meager for our taste. Otherwise, a really cute little place to stay.

09/11/2025: I had the opportunity to eat the cassoeuola (takeout) and despite some hesitation (I'm an elderly/critical Brianza native), I have to admit I really enjoyed it... tasty, not too greasy, just the way I like it (ribs, pork rinds, salami, and lots of cabbage). Well done. (I don't know the names of the owner and/or chef), I think I'll definitely be back! You deserve it ❤️ and I invite you to repeat the exercise. Good luck Mario!

04/11/2025: There's not much to say except that the pizza was fantastic, the service very friendly and attentive, and the house wine was of good quality. The price/performance ratio is very good.

02/12/2025: One-star welcome. Even for two guys after us. I only ate chicken and threw up all the chicken towards the evening. My colleague called me shortly after and said he also threw up all the chicken. Now the restaurant manager should tell me what chemical he used to make that chicken acceptable. It was probably spoiled... then with the chica he probably made it acceptable. 2 out of 2 is no coincidence.

28/11/2025: Boiled meats are a delicacy. Served with salsa verde, mayonnaise, and mustard, and ravioli in broth.
