What can I say: a WONDERFUL discovery!
Everything was perfect, but some might say that's the bare minimum for a 5-star hotel.
But it wasn't just any 5-star hotel.
The experience was worth far more than that.
Let's start with the staff. Having stayed in other 5-star hotels, this staff is by far the BEST I've ever encountered, and I mean it. Their kindness and friendliness are rarely seen in the hotel industry. They take excellent care of you, going above and beyond for even the smallest request. Magical.
What might seem complicated becomes incredibly simple to execute. Hats off to them!
The food is of exceptional quality and freshness.
The breakfast was very generous and excellent, and there's a gourmet restaurant, which we unfortunately didn't have the chance to try. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a hammam. A bottle of champagne and fruit were provided upon arrival. Simply magical.
Rooms were cleaned twice a day.
We had a view of the lake and mountains.
A huge thank you to all the staff: Tommaso, Valentina, Davide, Ena, and Andrea.
I highly recommend this very intimate, human-scale hotel where human connection truly matters.
Thank you so much, and we'll be back soon.

23/07/2026: A discovery! A lunch marked by quality, authentic cuisine. The pizzoccheri deserve praise, delicious. Simply perfect. Thanks to the host, we discovered a sparkling wine that provided notes of freshness throughout the meal. The service was excellent, friendly and never intrusive. Well done, you guys, it's clear you're passionate about what you do!
17/07/2026: Family dinner.
We ordered a sampling of snails, some truly fantastic first courses, pizzoccheri, and top-notch tagliatelle, and for the main course, some melt-in-the-mouth steaks, with a side of potatoes and polenta.
And what about the wine cellar? A vast selection of highly respectable labels.
The desserts were also truly delicious and not mass-produced.
The staff who looked after us were professional and extremely kind.
The place was small but pleasant, perhaps a little too intimate because with so many customers, conversation became difficult. But that's the way it is, there's enough space, and it's definitely worth it.
Prices were average for quality restaurants. For five people, we had a dozen snails, five first courses, four second courses, three desserts, five coffees, two bottles of wine, and four bottles of water, and we spent €275. Money well spent.
We were also offered a complimentary digestif.
Truly a wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back.

08/08/2026: We were visiting the town and came across the restaurant by chance. We could get a table without reservation. The owner and the cook showed a wonderful hospitality, the food and wine were great and we enjoyed the dinner a lot. We ordered fish and meat were ver delicious, at the end the hosts offered us limoncello as well. Great food, great people. Fully recommended, we will definitely come back again!
06/08/2026: It used to be an excellent restaurant and pizzeria, one of my favorites in the area. The atmosphere was quaint and pleasant.
Now the food has definitely deteriorated, with business lunches featuring tasteless and poorly prepared dishes. The service is a saving grace.

07/06/2026: I was looking for a restaurant where my relatives could try some typical local dishes. As soon as we arrived, they gave us a very friendly welcome. After ordering based on the waiter's recommendations, the dinner was fantastic; everything was delicious. I highly recommend it for anyone who isn't looking for a fancy restaurant but wants to eat well and pay a fair price. I'll be back.
01/05/2026: The cooking is definitely "homemade," but the result is only decent. The service is friendly, perhaps a little slow, but there's only one person in the dining room. Prices are reasonable.

06/05/2026: The lady in the morning was rude and unfriendly.
I sat outside and had to go back inside for breakfast, whereas any other bar would offer table service. I'm giving the service one star because it can't be given less, otherwise it would be a negative.
16/04/2026: Nice place, friendly staff, excellent workers' menu at lunch with choice of first course with side dish at 10.50 or second course with side dish at 11.50 or full menu, 4 choices of dishes for each, I had the vegetable lasagna and it was excellent

02/06/2025: Ci sono stata questa sera ( anche se conoscevo il posto ma scopro solo oggi in cambio di gestione in pejus) due mohito ( pessimi) accompagnati da patatine ben 32,00 euro .
Trovo scandaloso !!!!
