Ristorante Roma

Casatenovo
08/05/2026: It was our first time at this historic restaurant in Brianza, and we couldn't have made a better choice. First of all, Cristina and the lovely chef make you feel at ease, and every dish takes you back to my childhood, something that no longer exists today. On behalf of my wife and I, thank you for the wonderful lunch break.
07/05/2026: A true dive into Brianza's gastronomic past, with the efficiency and speed of today. Homemade appetizers served off the cuff, risotto with ossobuco and saffron, meat-based main courses, traditional Po Valley desserts, and a complimentary coffee and "ammazzacaffè" (lunchtime drink). Nostalgic and familiar, just a stone's throw from Milan, Monza, Como, and Lecco. A simple, intimate, family atmosphere, just like the old days.

Pasticceria Castano

Casatenovo
22/03/2026: If I'm ever in the area and haven't made it at home, I come here for breakfast. For me, the brioche with "cold" jam here is the best. Andrea
12/02/2026: Super cute and full of sweets. Return for an aperitif with friends (fair prices and a quiet place).

Agriturismo Giovanna Passeri

Casatenovo
10/05/2026: I'd like to give 0 stars, but it's not possible... I visited this restaurant for a communion and, unfortunately, the experience was terrible. Although the food was quite good, everything else was absolutely forgettable. The wait staff was profoundly rude and unhelpful. One waitress in particular responded rudely to every single request, even making guests feel "guilty" for not finishing a course or asking for wine (receiving the response that she would serve drinks only after the course was finished). When we asked for a missing fork, we were told it was there but that "someone else would get it," only bringing a clean one after yet another scolding. The height of rudeness was reached at the end of the event: while I was frantically searching for my car keys, which I couldn't find, I was abruptly asked to leave because they had to prepare for the next service, without the slightest hint of empathy or assistance. I was told to go home and take the spare keys!! I work as an event planner and have never encountered such a level of incivility in any venue. I would never recommend this place.
10/05/2026: We booked for 7:30 PM and arrived at 7:22 PM. At the entrance, a woman sitting at a table outside stood up and said, "We were expecting you at 7:30 PM." She made us wait outside for 15 minutes, and then came to call us in. We sat down, five adults and a one-year-old child. We began to order and asked if it was possible to make a change to the risotto (Milanese-style, rather than the one on the menu). The woman (who was serving an aperitif, and who we later discovered was the waitress's mother and the cook, as well as the owner) came in and said they were being kind because they usually can't change the menu. However, the risotto had to be for at least two people, so three of us ordered it, while the others ordered two risottos from the menu. We finish ordering, the waitress goes to the kitchen, and the 'owner' comes out with the order in hand, exclaiming arrogantly: 'WE ARE NOT IN A PIZZERIA HERE, NOT EVEN IN A 3-MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANT. THEY MAKE TWO DIFFERENT RISOTTOS FOR ONE TABLE.' So we reply, 'Okay, let's make risotto Milanese for everyone.' From that point on, the evening was ruined. You either have manners and values or you don't. I'm sorry, but even though the dishes were good, we won't be returning. I ADVISE THE OWNER to be humble, because perhaps she doesn't realize that her 'agriturismo' is a portion of a house, and the dining room is a room in that house. P.S. Given the arrogance I received, I'm attaching a couple of photos of the 3-MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANT... Ah……I recommend you go to VITTORIO in Brusaporto, so you can learn how to treat customers.

La Tavola Di Cherubino

Casatenovo
Arredamento e colori home made, ovunque girasoli di plastica, vecchie gerle e brocche a decoupage shabby-chic. Decisamente per turisti o per chi proprio non cucina a casa cas propria.
