21/08/2026: I only give 5 stars because it can't be given more, but it deserves much more! Excellent service, friendly, polite, and always smiling and efficient staff! Quality cured meats, spectacular meat cooked to perfection. A specific note on the meat's cooking and its quality, compliments are in order in the kitchen! And the desserts are also very good. I repeat, only 5 stars because it can't be given more, but it deserves much more, both for the food, the place, and the people who work there! See you next time.

The owner also offered a bottle of his Merlot, which was truly delicious.
Exceptional view.
And the waitress was very attentive to our needs.

18/01/2026: A lovely evening with friends.
The appetizers were top-notch, worthy of a 5-star meal.
Followed by a fried dish that didn't live up to the restaurant's name.
The baked sea bass was okay.
The first courses (served last) were passable, perhaps I'm used to bolder flavors.
Followed by gelato on a bed of fruit that was excellent, and a mini cannolo that was twice as good.
Coffee followed by a jug of amaro to help digest the bill.
17/01/2026: Very satisfied, excellent and plentiful dishes. It's a shame they closed at the end of January 😕
We hope they open again...it's definitely worth it 🏆🏅

23/08/2026: Inedible meat. Stopped by to get some bresaola, okay, nothing special. I'm curious to try some beef, €20.00 per kg, maybe even more: inedible. DO NOT GO THERE, IT'S A TOURIST TRAP!

The Chiavenna gnocchetti, in particular, were the best! Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the coffee.

24/07/2026: We had dinner today:
- wobbly table,
- wine was missing from the menu,
- the menu should have said we were served lobster linguine, but we were served tuna and bottarga linguine,
- the menu should have said we were served quail, but we were served chicken breast.
Terrible.

Truly excellent in everything! ...from the welcome and throughout the service...
Additional praise to the beef carpaccio, the goat's milk dandelion and mountain pine ravioli, and the delicious apple tarta tatin.
We were truly recommended to dine at this gem of an inn.
30/05/2026: Truly a spectacular place to eat excellent quality, the Dehors with outdoor tables is very nice, excellent service, very kind staff and last but not least, taking a nice motorbike ride from Ballabio to get to Esino you can enjoy the curves in one of the most beautiful stretches of road I have ever driven.

18/08/2026: We had dinner on Thursday, August 13th. The pizza was good, and the gnocchi for the kids were delicious. The staff was very friendly. I understand the place was busy, but the service was particularly slow (about an hour for the pizzas and even longer for the gnocchi).
11/08/2026: Revisited after several years, the atmosphere is simple, the food well cooked, the staff friendly, good quality/price ratio, we will return
