08/08/2024: This was the best meal of my life. We went to the location in Varenna on the beautiful Lake Como. From the drinks all the way to dessert, everything was incredible. Must visit if you’re in Varenna. Book through The Fork.it.

11/12/2024: I was there for a family dinner, the decor full of truly surprising Christmas decorations was evocative. The location itself deserves a 5 star, I gave it 4 because the environment, despite the presence of two rather large fireplaces, is not particularly heated. Good food, sometimes refined and at normal prices for the first courses; starters and main courses higher than average. The service tries to be sophisticated but still has something to improve, the waiting times to order and receive the dishes were really long. Covered cost €4. Overall I would recommend it.

A welcoming place, with attention to the smallest details and which offers large open spaces creating a refined atmosphere both during the day and in the evening. The staff is trained, capable, professional and welcoming. The owners create a familiar and intimate environment while maintaining excellence in services. Excellent quality/price ratio. Ample parking, outdoor spaces accessible to all, a complete environment in every part. Fascinating and serene atmosphere. Suitable for everyone, in particular weddings, baptisms, banquets and/or events of all kinds as well as simple lunch, dinner, aperitif, etc. Better to book because it is often "reasonably" full. I recommend it to everyone with the utmost serenity. I have been several times and will happily and often return. Ten out of ten!

17/11/2024: My best friend and I were left without food at home and we went out to buy something to eat... this was the only place open and despite the time the owners welcomed us warmly and served us with such kindness. 10/10 the best piadinas we have ever eaten 🫶 thanks again to the owners for welcoming us 💕

01/11/2024: The family who runs the wine bar/restaurant are very welcoming and we ate very well. The cuisine is homemade and with great taste. An excellent address if you want to try real Italian recipes.

24/08/2024: APERITIF booked table x5. No waiter outside. We enter to ask while queuing up who had to pay. They let us sit outside and we pointed out that we were in the direct sun. The boy's response "these are the umbrellas" 15 minutes pass, no one brings us a menu or anything. As if they weren't there. We left If you want to expand, so be it, but do it with adequate staff and service.

23/08/2024: Delicious products... and all artisanal, too bad for gluten intolerants, but I'm sure they will organize it, at least I hope so!

02/12/2024: Stunning location and atmosphere just a few km from Milan. Courteous and friendly welcome from the owner. Very refined and refined menu and food with the right value for money. A place truly to be recommended even in summer.

01/12/2024: Posizione e atmosfera stupende a pochi km da Milano. Accoglienza cortese e simpatica del titolare. Menu e cibo molto curati e ricercati con il giusto rapporto qualita prezzo. Un posto veramente da consigliare anche in estate.

03/10/2024: Last year the food was great! Unfortunately there is no comparison this year ☹️Three dry mini baked rolls that were charged at €6. We ordered the steak medium, but it was completely fried and tough, and not seasoned at all! The Paella Marisco was worse than a ready-made frozen paella, I didn't even eat it! I also paid 80 euros for the whole thing! It's a shame, but that was the last time we were here!

18/08/2024: Arrivati per caso. Locale accogliente e personale gentilissimo. Un crostone di polenta con borola e uno con gorgonzola, davvero ottimi. Poi m carpaccio di manzo celtico con mela, pesto di rucola e monte 27. Fusilloni artigianali con ragù di anatra. Costine con salsa BBQ e cavolo rosso stufato. Tutto ottimo, porzioni adeguate. Ottima scelta vini, noi Pecorino e Inu. Più di cinquanta scelte di amari e distillati. Io rosolio al bergamotto. Ci torneremo senz'altro.

15/08/2024: Positive impressions right from the booking during which the staff proved to be very kind and attentive to our needs. Well-structured mid-August lunch with a choice of different proposals. All delicious, refined but not affected, traditional dishes revisited with creative grace. Mention should be made of fusilloni with duck ragù, ravioli filled with aubergine parmigiana, ribs cooked at low temperature and pineapple marinated in anise and saffron. The trip to Merate is worth it. Compliments.

15/12/2024: Ho cenato il 12 dicembre presso Mamaioa con mio marito e siamo rimasti profondamente colpito sia dalla cucina squisita che dal servizio impeccabile. Il menu presentava una varietà di piatti deliziosi e con una bella presentazione. Il personale attento e competente ha fatto in modo che il nostro pasto fosse memorabile, fornendo consigli e garantendo la nostra soddisfazione. Lo consiglio!

26/08/2024: I'm from Lecco and here pizzocchero is a bit of a religion as well as my favorite dish. I'm sure I've tried pizzoccheri from every restaurant in Valsassina and Sondrio. Their Pizzoccheri far beat the competition, they are simply perfect, in addition to the friendliness, preparation and kindness of the staff, which makes it absolutely a place to go. Yes, you can get there on foot, I did it with a stroller, but the view that that short stretch gives you is an added value, certainly not a flaw.
