We were five people and everyone's taste buds were satisfied. ❤️ The pasta was the best we've ever had, the salmon trout was delicious, and the tiramisu truly transported us to heaven and lifted our senses! 04/10/2025: Recommended by a friend. Lunch for the first time today. The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is top-notch. We've satisfied our craving for the bollito misto... fabulous. Next time, we'll try the roast meat cart. Price... very fair.

23/09/2025: Our experience with this restaurant was limited to two phone calls. The initial approach was determined by the sign on the pedestrian and bike path, which encourages you to call before boarding. At 11:15, we called to reserve a table for three adults and two children. Before we could finish our request, the person on the phone told us it was "too early" to eat. When we asked about the possibility of a table on the terrace, given the presence of three dogs, we were abruptly told that the terrace is no longer there... the photos say otherwise... and that dogs are not allowed inside, but must be left leashed outside. We called back a few minutes later to cancel the reservation, explaining that we would never leave our dogs leashed outside. The response was a complaint about the "last-minute" cancellation on a Saturday. When we pointed out that we had called only five minutes earlier, the conversation ended abruptly. Based on this experience, we feel it's important to note that the restaurant is absolutely not "pet friendly" and that the customer service, at least when booking by phone, is unprofessional. I used to go there as a child with my dad and mom... everyone was friendly back then, and there was a magnificent terrace with a beautiful view. But... things change.

21/09/2025: Polenta without cheese, with porcini mushrooms and pork shank. Excellent dish. It's a shame there aren't any tables on the terrace given the beautiful view (also because inside, when the place is full, it's impossible to have a conversation).

05/09/2025: A beautiful restaurant with a fantastic view. We arrived early in the evening with our dog without a reservation and were greeted warmly. The food was delicious and served quickly. The menu is available in three languages ​​(Italian, English, and German), so you can't go wrong.

21/09/2025: We stopped in for brunch after we took the train from Milan to Varenna. The restaurant allowed smoking and the server took a very long time to come to our table (got the drink and food orders for multiple tables that came in after us before us) but the views made up for it. The food was decent, and by the time we finished our meal, the line for the ferry had cleared out and we were able to get a ferry almost to ourselves.

23/09/2025: The owner is as lovely as an aunt. She'll give you any advice you need. The pizzaiolo knows how to make a good crust. Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. The ingredients are of very good quality, as befits Italy. The portion-to-price ratio is very good. I recommend the charming heart-shaped pizza.

17/07/2025: Excellent restaurant in a mountain setting, with a frequently changing menu and refined dishes at a fair price. A great place to impress friends in a small village in the Grigna hills. We often return to the inn, and never once have we disappointed our expectations. I always recommend it to friends and acquaintances. I'd say it's my favorite restaurant... and no, I won't post photos because the dishes are so beautiful that I'd ruin the surprise. 😉

17/09/2025: A stunning view, a quiet place with very kind staff. When we went, there was only one menu, and everything was good and, above all, plentiful. At our request, to avoid waste, since we're not big eaters, they gave us containers to take home any leftovers (I noticed the other tables had containers too 🤣). An experience worth repeating. Highly recommended!
