The service was attentive and friendly, although not entirely worthy of the price paid: considering the quality and cost of the establishment, one would expect impeccable professionalism in every aspect. 18/01/2026: A month ago, I requested a quote for my birthday and spoke directly with one of the owners, who assured me he would get back to me shortly. Since then, he has completely disappeared. Despite repeated reminders, I have never been contacted. This kind of behavior not only demonstrates zero professionalism, but it has wasted my time. Totally unacceptable.

03/01/2026: Paid 20 euros more per person for New Year's Eve for the reason of New Year's Eve service, what services apart from the TV on, there was nothing, absurd prices 400 euros for a pizza, 2 focaccias, 2 starters, 2 first courses and 4 ice creams,

18/10/2025: A definite highlight of our trip to Lake Como. The view is spectacular, even at night! We're a younger American couple and we were treated very kindly by all the staff, so I was surprised to see other reviews stating differently. Marlene, our server, was especially charming and made the evening fun! Our meal was delicious from the beginning with the olive tapenade and the goat cheese+veg app. If you go, absolutely get the tiramasu for dessert - the best I've ever had! We hadn't planned to stop here, but walking in the area is difficult (get a taxi, it's worth it), and in the end I'm so glad we did!

08/03/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at this cabin. After arriving with the intention of eating something, I was told they couldn't sell me anything, not even a sandwich, because the kitchen, they said, was too busy. And as my only attempt to find an alternative, I was offered a bag of chips. Terrible, really! Now, I understand that I may have arrived at a time when the place was full and the kitchen could actually be busy, but the way the situation was handled seemed unwelcoming, especially considering that it's the only place on the trail that serves food and can be reached, as in my case, after a hike or mountain activity. I expected a completely different kind of treatment. Plus, I was alone, not with a group of 10 people, so it didn't seem so impossible to find a solution; they didn't even find time to make a sandwich. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the impression the service left was anything but positive. Personally, I didn't feel welcome and I'm unlikely to return.

11/01/2026: A very quaint, simple, and always tidy place. We always organize a pre-Christmas gathering with the soccer team, about thirty people, and we're always treated very well. The food is very good and truly local. The appetizer is cured meats with bruschetta and beans with onions. The first course is delicious pizzoccheri and tagliatelle with mushrooms. The second course is rusticizada (a kind of pasta dish) and polenta uncia (uncia polenta). Dessert is cutizzs (a type of pasta), along with liqueurs and coffee. All served with excellent wine.

08/02/2026: Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. We ordered a half portion of penne with tomato sauce for our son. Four penne arrived, and when we paid, we were charged €14 for a measly plate of pasta. I asked for an explanation, saying that the pasta was a half portion. But the lady at the cashier didn't care in the slightest. Her explanation was...it says a full portion here! Without even asking the waiter if there had been a mistake.

24/12/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at Trattoria Laghee was deeply disappointing. I ordered ossobuco, which, unfortunately, did not even begin to live up to the standards of this traditional dish. The meat was extremely tough, practically inedible, and far from the consistency and quality of a true ossobuco. I only tasted a small piece and decided not to eat it, as it was clearly undercooked. The situation worsened further when it came to the bill. Despite calmly explaining that I hadn't eaten the dish due to its poor quality, I was still asked to pay for the entire ossobuco. During the discussion, the owner even suggested we take the dish home to "finish the cooking," as if it were normal for a customer to finish preparing a dish at home that should be served properly cooked in the restaurant. I found this attitude extremely unprofessional and rude, especially considering that the problem wasn't a matter of personal taste, but a clear flaw in the preparation of the dish. Instead of seeking an appropriate solution, they preferred to argue and place the blame on the customer. It's truly a shame, because I expected a completely different experience. I believe that the quality of the dishes and respect for the customer are fundamental, and unfortunately, both were lacking on this occasion. —————————————————— Unfortunately, my experience at Trattoria Laghee was deeply disappointing. I found this attitude extremely unprofessional and rude, especially considering that the issue was not a matter of personal taste, but a clear failure in the preparation of the dish. Instead of trying to find an appropriate solution, they chose to argue and shift the responsibility onto the customer. It is truly a shame, because I was expecting a completely different experience. I believe that the quality of the food and respect for the customer are fundamental, and unfortunately, on this occasion, both were lacking.

09/12/2025: Not only was the food excellent: the treatment we received from the owner and her staff was nothing short of fabulous. On our first day, we arrived when the kitchen was already closed. We'd just come from a long journey, and the owner immediately noticed how tired we were. Despite the hour, she prepared us a delicious pasta dish with parmigiana sauce (plenty of it and excellent, in true Neapolitan tradition!) 😍 The staff, incredibly friendly and always smiling, were very attentive and friendly during service, always stopping by to check if everything was okay and if we needed anything. 🤗 Given the welcome and the good food, we returned the next day and ordered a carbonara paired with a Tuscan red wine: once again, the service and ingredients were top-notch! Plus, while we waited for our first course, they offered us delicious fried gnocco with tomato sauce. 🤤 We recommend anyone passing by to stop by Vittoria Bistrot, as not only do they offer quality products, but the hospitality and attention of the entire staff make you feel right at home. 16/01/2026: We really enjoyed the experience. We went spontaneously and without knowing what to expect in August for our anniversary. We ordered the menu, spent three hours eating and were highly impressed. Never been that mesmerised by a food experience.

06/01/2026: A pleasant Christmas lunch in a welcoming atmosphere, but with increasing wait times course after course...dessert and coffee never arrived 😰

26/12/2025: Christmas lunch 2025, not a bad selection, but the quantity was extremely low, even for items that were really cheap to make. The atmosphere was truly unwelcoming and cold, not at all Christmassy. I wouldn't recommend avoiding it. For the price paid, the quantity was truly low. Since it's Christmas, I'd suggest serving panettone for dessert, not a tiny glass of strawberries with mascarpone cream. I counted exactly three numbered strawberries, no more, and the potatoes on the side were literally three.

07/12/2025: We've been going with friends to eat the huge pizza at Le Vigne in Cantù for a long time now... what can I say? The pizza is always delicious and, above all, served in a unique way, the length of two plates, served on two plates, with generous toppings and the owner and waiters are all very kind.... Highly recommended!
