08/04/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. After requesting availability for lunch on an important date, I was initially confirmed as being able to book. Subsequently, without any real solution or alternative offered, I received a denial due to an internal error related to the management of another event. I find this behavior unprofessional and disrespectful of customers' time, especially considering the type of establishment and the level of expectations it generates. More careful organization and more precise communication would be essential to avoid situations like this. Unfortunately, in light of this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment.

03/07/2026: Mediocre in all aspects. Food is nothing special, but service is really bad. Asked for a spicy sauce for my pizza, never received it. Asked for the check, after 15 minutes waiting I had to go to the counter and do it myself else I would sit still there. It’s clear that the staff is not ready for a larger customer volume. I wasn’t even sure if the helps understood what I was saying. Great location tho.

19/04/2026: Excellent lunch at this restaurant in the countryside on the edge of the nature reserve at Sorico, with beautiful mountain views all around. All dishes were sensitively prepared, with refinement real attention to flavours. The standout of the day was a seafood linguine, which would have been very tasty even without no extra ingredient, given the intensity of the sauce/bisque, but with the prawns and the amberjack tartare and the citrusy aroma, it became sublime. A pistachio-stuffed calamaro, a whitefish (lavarello) , and a frittura of freshwater fish with vegetable tempura were also ravishing. Only the desert was not so stunning, but still good. The interior is nicely appointed, with a warm and slightly retro atmosphere, the large windows affording a good view of the beautiful natural scenery. Service was so young and so kind. Prices offer truly significant value at this level of quality.

04/04/2026: At Beccaccino, I found a rice dish with perch that was almost "memorable" 😍🐟 Truly the kind that makes you think about moving to Lake Como just to eat it more often. A small note about the raw fish: it was good, but it didn't make me say "wow" like the rest. Nothing tragic, eh? Let's just say the rice stole the show 😄 Top service, with a very kind waitress who deserves applause 👏 Overall, a super pleasant experience... and yes, I would go back (even if only for that rice 😉)

08/07/2026: We were also very disappointed with the food. We ordered a tomato and mozzarella salad for €16 and received a small, unappetizing portion. €16 for such a small portion is, in our opinion, an absolute rip-off. The price-performance ratio is completely off. Unfortunately, this restaurant is a classic tourist trap. We definitely wouldn't recommend it.

05/07/2026: Expensive, and the worst thing is that I only found out that I was charged 3 euros per person for a basket of bread and some breadsticks when the bill came. Very nice and helpful waiters, the boss walked around the tables very defiantly and with an attitude of maximum superiority towards the employees. Polenta very greasy, inedible. Risotto with big fish, same with lavarello. Tiramisu had a cream that was too soft. I had read the reviews on Google and said that it can't be that bad for a family restaurant, that they put their customers first, unfortunately only the income comes first. Shame about the view and the effort made by the employees. For what I paid I could have eaten much better at the Giglio restaurant, just a few km away.

09/06/2026: This review is for the outdoor restaurant. The margarita pizza is delicious! If I were to visit Bellagio again and crave pizza, I'd definitely go there! Without hesitation!

04/06/2026: Just got here and having spent some time at a lovely hotel in Garda this was disappointing. So many issues that if they addressed them this might be a decent hotel. Issues included No fridge/ mini bar Tepid water in the tiny shower Cheap plastic shower cubicle Curtains that don't fully close When we walked up the steep incline to the pool there was dog faeces on the grass Tiny lift Air-conditioning unit that is too noisy No hand towels Stupid little packets of shampoo but no conditioner Wardrobe space inadequate I could go on but if I just say it's a tired old hotel needing an upgrade you will get the picture FURTHER TO THIS Having just got of the lake ferry we have been moved to a much nicer room which has been brought into the 21st century and we are much happier. So, apart from a minor issue and one very surly waiter who was rude to my wife yesterday things look much better today. The staff have been very helpful today.

10/06/2026: Excellent dough and indescribable pizzas. Welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Unsurpassable Chiese Cake with fresh ingredients. The pizza chef is incredibly fast and will soon surpass the great Yuri.

05/07/2026: We came here planning to enjoy pizza and a couple of cocktails by the lake. When we arrived around 12:15 pm, the Italian waitress asked where we would like to sit. Since it was already quite hot, we chose a table in the shade, and she seated us at a small table for two by the wall. After taking our drink order, she asked if we were ready to order food. My husband asked for a pizza, and she told us that pizza is only served after 6:00 pm. We thanked her and said we would just have drinks instead. At that point, her attitude changed completely. In a very rude and unfriendly tone, she told us to move to the tables that were in direct sunlight with no shade. The café was almost empty, so there was no reason for this. It left us feeling very unwelcome and honestly spoiled the experience. The cocktails were excellent—well balanced and very enjoyable. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try the food because pizza wasn’t available, but I’m still giving the food 5 stars based on what we had planned to order. The service, however, deserves 0 stars. If you value friendly hospitality and don’t want your mood affected, be aware that the service here may leave a very unpleasant impression. 25/04/2026: Terrible food.....I'm sorry because the place is nice and welcoming even if small....casonsei with butter and sage without butter and marinated chicken skewers served cold, or rather barely reheated.....

03/01/2026: The pizza with stracchino was tops. The others were very touristy but good. For dessert, we had the nuvola, which we haven't tried yet, but it looks promising. I didn't give it a 5 because, having immediately tried the one with stracchino, my expectations were high.

12/04/2026: One of those old-fashioned places, in a good way. We arrived by boat, and that alone creates a certain atmosphere; then you sit down, a view of the lake, white tablecloths, glasses, discreet service. Everything is coherent, nothing forced. The menu doesn't have a thousand confusing options: a few well-chosen dishes, in keeping with tradition and the place. These are rare places, especially in this area where mass tourism has transformed many establishments into something anonymous and interchangeable.

27/02/2026: I don't know if the photos of how I received the pizza are clear... I opened it and the three slices of salami were stuck to the cardboard, glued together by the cheese. I called to complain and they told me they'd bring it to me in an hour and a half 😂😂😂 Absurd......... Mostly even paying in advance and.... hanging up on me as if it were my fault..... that I couldn't eat with my family that evening because someone had made a mistake and couldn't immediately correct their mistake... They even told our family not to call again... I feel humiliated... (the bottom under the mozzarella even had a hole in the base dough, if you can see 🤨) Rude.....

31/01/2026: Potentially good pizzas, but out of eight, seven were slightly undercooked. It's a shame, as some people didn't finish their pizza for fear of getting sick.

08/08/2026: ⭐ 1/5 — Overrated and Very Disappointing Experience Last night, my wife, our three children, and I had dinner at Ristorante Bilacus in Bellagio. We had made a reservation in advance and were genuinely excited to dine here, especially given the restaurant’s reputation and beautiful location. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, we found the staff to be unfriendly, inattentive, and lacking the professionalism and knowledge we expected from a restaurant with this reputation. We ordered several dishes based specifically on recommendations from our waiter and other staff members, expecting something special. I even ordered the meat dish that was presented to me as one of their best and most notable selections. Unfortunately, neither that dish nor the overall meal lived up to the expectations that had been created. The menu also felt quite limited, and overall we found the food to be nothing particularly special or memorable. The location and setting are certainly attractive, and the ambiance itself is nice. However, a beautiful setting alone does not create a great dining experience. The restaurant lacked the warm, welcoming, positive energy and hospitality that we have experienced at many other restaurants throughout Italy. When you combine the disappointing food, limited menu, inattentive service, and unfriendly attitude of the staff, the restaurant simply felt very overrated to us. Unfortunately, despite the nice Bellagio location, we left disappointed and would not recommend Ristorante Bilacus based on our family’s experience. I kept it firm but factual and based on your personal experience, which generally makes a negative review more credible and effective.
