08/03/2026: Everything was perfect. We came as a couple and had a bottle of wine with a cheese and cured meat appetizer while playing the board games available. The playlist was great, with a cute and very cozy atmosphere. The staff took great care of us. The bistro is just two steps from the bus that goes back down to Como city. We will definitely come back!

05/10/2025: The place is clearly understaffed, and you can clearly tell the staff is very tense. It's not their fault, but with all the people in the place, they obviously had to work hard. It's a shame because the food is very good and the location and view are truly exceptional. A clear message to the owners to invest a little more, but perhaps it's unnecessary, because given the location's touristy atmosphere, there will always be tourists.
07/09/2025: My family and I experienced racism for the first time at this restaurant.
We waited 45 minutes for our menus, were refused a seat on the terrace even though there were seats available, and were given a dish I hadn't ordered.
Terrible service.
The worst experience in a restaurant.
In the end, the server (a gentleman in his fifties or older) told us it wasn't the place for us.
P.S.: I'm not writing this comment in anger because it's been over a month since we returned from vacation.

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished.
The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.
03/07/2025: This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were fantastic, and the interior was cozy. A very pleasant and warm atmosphere.
This year, the older chef came by again to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was alright. And it was! As we were leaving, we made sure to thank him personally once more!
We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

12/08/2025: I had the displeasure of finding myself at the Bonny e Clyde bar and restaurant in Lido di Gera Lario, and I'm sad to admit that the cashier was particularly rude and impolite, despite the kindness and friendliness my friends and I displayed when placing simple orders.
As trivial as our orders seemed (water and popsicles), the bartender repeatedly rolled her eyes, appearing rude and disinterested.
P.S.: The owner would do well to seriously reprimand her, to help out. The shift in question is August 12, 2025, at approximately 2:30 PM.

04/12/2025: Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The food was mid. I got the fish ravioli with saffron sauce and I did not like it at all. I did try the mushroom steak and it was really good though. I also didn’t like the pizza that much. Overall it was a good experience, but not worth it to me.

27/02/2026: Discovered by chance on the way back from Chiasso. A simple trattoria, run by a friendly, welcoming, and very kind couple. The dishes are simple, rustic, homemade, tasty, and plentiful. Reasonable prices, truly excellent desserts, the tiramisu and Sicilian cannoli superb.

I tried to order an espresso here but I was refused service bc I had a USA scarf on for the Olympics and then they played the song “hit the road jack” as I was leaving. I’m a bleeding heart liberal, gay guy that would never vote for Trump but they made assumptions and I’ve never felt so upset. What a joke

The sign said 1.30, but since we sat down (bringing our own coffee to the table),
2.20 a coffee for the service that wasn't there...
