25/11/2025: You can stop, we are between a trattoria and a canteen in terms of food quality.

22/11/2025: We stopped for lunch, there were 2 of us. We decided to have an appetizer for 2 (cheese and cured meats). Nothing special, but the price? €20 each! We left with €78.00 for 2 plates of pappardelle, an appetizer, a bottle of water, and 2 coffees. NOT BAD 🤦‍♂️

05/10/2025: The place is clearly understaffed, and you can clearly tell the staff is very tense. It's not their fault, but with all the people in the place, they obviously had to work hard. It's a shame because the food is very good and the location and view are truly exceptional. A clear message to the owners to invest a little more, but perhaps it's unnecessary, because given the location's touristy atmosphere, there will always be tourists.

07/09/2025: My family and I experienced racism for the first time at this restaurant. We waited 45 minutes for our menus, were refused a seat on the terrace even though there were seats available, and were given a dish I hadn't ordered. Terrible service. The worst experience in a restaurant. In the end, the server (a gentleman in his fifties or older) told us it wasn't the place for us. P.S.: I'm not writing this comment in anger because it's been over a month since we returned from vacation.

30/11/2025: Good evening, I found this place by chance with friends. The service was fast and the waiters were friendly and helpful. The pizzas were very good. We did the pizza tour, and they also included 1-liter soft drinks. Excellent value for money. Very elegant and spacious atmosphere. The bathroom was large and, above all, clean. Even at the end of the evening.

26/03/2025: A nice bar. I like that you can sit right on the street and look into the cars. But you can also enjoy your wine or coffee inside. You feel like a local among locals.

07/11/2025: Frozen meal heated in the oven. The lasagna arrived frozen inside, hot outside. The waitress took it upon herself to tip without our permission. Taking advantage of tourists. €60 for three people for a bottle of water, two lasagnas, and a pasta dish. All frozen. Avoid at all costs! I regret this lunch.

17/12/2025: I'm giving it two stars because the waiter was lovely, but the pizza was bad and the pasta was even worse. I had pacheri with ragu and it was pure, inedible grease; I left it...

21/12/2025: The staff is not friendly and discriminating She talk not nice and look down to Asian. They charged 2 Coperto but don't give us the bread. Despite other tables got it.

20/12/2025: We had carpaccio, Pinot white wine, and two pizzas. Everything was fantastic. The staff were friendly. The food was prepared very quickly and was very fresh. It was a very delicious lunch.

01/11/2025: After visiting Lake Como for over 10 years, this is just the sort of place we are often looking for, old school, cheap and strong quite good spritzes, not touristy, working Wi-Fi, in the town Square of Argegno (we were staying in Brienno one town over, where we visited almost exactly 10 years ago and whilst we visit Lake Como often, we have been at hotels and not been back to Brienno or Argegno since then, so it was nice to be back this summer (Brienno and the flat we rented right over the water just as charming as we remembered - Argegno more charming than we remembered), and we ended up coming here several times for Limoncello and Campari Spritzes. My boyfriend also got Coffee for takeaway to put in the fridge and drink chilled the following mornings. Great to sit outside and relax.

21/10/2025: Very good pastry, for breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake with the kindness of the waitress.

14/12/2025: My boyfriend ordered a Club Sandwich (€18). After half an hour and a prompt wait, it finally arrived. The sandwich looked good on the outside, but inside it was freezing cold, having just taken it out of the fridge. First of all, they made us wait a long time, then they're incredibly expensive, and finally... We saw a seemingly boss, but she didn't look at the tables, and after paying, not even a "thank you." A place only for tourists who pass by once.

14/12/2025: They’re super rude with the tourist. Our waitress pretended that we didn’t exist. They didn’t give us a menu walked around. And served everyone that came after us.. my husband ordered their Panini. We ordered two glass of wine one beer I ordered the lasagna. The second I looked at the lasagna. I told her it was not fresh because it was falling apart and it smelled bad.I told her that it doesn’t look fresh can I get something else? She just walked out and didn’t even come back. Until it’s time to pay for the bill. I told her I was not gonna pay for the lasagna because I didn’t even eat it. She’s like “well It was sitting on your table. You didn’t eat it or you did. It’s not my problem you still have to pay”. I was disgusted by her behavior..

03/12/2025: It's a nice refuge but nothing special. I had pasta that looked like buckwheat orecchiette but was tough and topped with tasteless cheese. The wild boar main course, however, was excellent. I wouldn't go back!

25/10/2025: Rude, impolite service. I sit down after a 2.5-hour walk, famished. I order some cured meats, average, and a plate of fettuccine with mushrooms; the dish is bland, with mushrooms that tasted like they were boiled. I express my disappointment, even though I ate the whole thing because I was so hungry, and am told that "others don't complain." This response, worthy only of the ignorant, doesn't even deserve a response, let alone a review. There are plenty of refuges; go elsewhere.

09/12/2025: Not only was the food excellent: the treatment we received from the owner and her staff was nothing short of fabulous. On our first day, we arrived when the kitchen was already closed. We'd just come from a long journey, and the owner immediately noticed how tired we were. Despite the hour, she prepared us a delicious pasta dish with parmigiana sauce (plenty of it and excellent, in true Neapolitan tradition!) 😍 The staff, incredibly friendly and always smiling, were very attentive and friendly during service, always stopping by to check if everything was okay and if we needed anything. 🤗 Given the welcome and the good food, we returned the next day and ordered a carbonara paired with a Tuscan red wine: once again, the service and ingredients were top-notch! Plus, while we waited for our first course, they offered us delicious fried gnocco with tomato sauce. 🤤 We recommend anyone passing by to stop by Vittoria Bistrot, as not only do they offer quality products, but the hospitality and attention of the entire staff make you feel right at home. Thank you, Vittoria Bistrot, as soon as we're back in the area, we'll be back! 🤩🥰 Carmen and Karen 🫶

13/11/2025: Today I found myself in Uggiate by chance, incredibly hungry. I happened to walk into this bar, Bar Nela, and was greeted by a super cute and super busy girl. The bar is truly charming and unique, a must-see. I asked if they had any vegan food, and this girl, named Martina, rattled off a five-star menu, including pasta with vegan ragù and soy meatballs. I opted for a sandwich whose fillings were entirely Martina's own creation. I received a jumbo sandwich filled with a ton of delicious things, nice and warm and tasty...thanks also to the chef for his creation! But my thanks especially go to this girl who, with her smile, so much imagination, so much professionalism and expertise, managed to make me happy with a fantastic vegan lunch!

09/11/2025: The staff is uninterested and inattentive; it almost feels like a nuisance when you ask for something. The service is slow and disorganized, with a complete lack of customer service. The atmosphere could be pleasant, but the management ruins it. I absolutely do not recommend this place, especially if you're looking for even a modicum of professionalism and courtesy. The aperitif came with two chips, which I even asked for. Truly awful.
