26/09/2025: We had reserved a table for four outside, but the lady who welcomed us arrogantly and rudely told me, "No, inside only," simply because another, larger group had reserved the outside tables after us. This was actually a minor issue, because once inside, we were treated like dirt, most likely because we were foreigners. The food was generally awful: appetizers full of oil, first courses that were very hard to digest, and desserts that were bland (perhaps the only thing that stood out was the tiramisu). The final surprise: €40 per person, without wine, just water and coffee. Note that the bill was calculated by hand after a wait of about 10 minutes. I highly recommend it, especially given the rudeness of the staff!!!

01/11/2025: On our way back from visiting Balcone d'Italia, we stopped in for coffee and dessert. The service was excellent, too. The place is small but cozy.
18/10/2025: Café with very friendly service, who also speak German.
Very nice ambiance outside on the small village square. Fortunately in summer, but unfortunately in autumn, the lovely seating is in the shade.
This was our second time here and we'd love to come back.

04/12/2025: Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. The food was mid. I got the fish ravioli with saffron sauce and I did not like it at all. I did try the mushroom steak and it was really good though. I also didn’t like the pizza that much. Overall it was a good experience, but not worth it to me.
04/12/2025: The most delicious pizza I've had in Italy! Light on the stomach, generously portioned, and so tasty you'll want to come back again and again ❤️

25/09/2025: I gladly return to this "Bar Peppo" every now and then to enjoy the excellent ice cream it produces and to remember my childhood experiences during the three years I lived in Rovello Porro.
20/07/2025: The gelato may be good, but the staff, from the owner to the clerk, leaves much to be desired. There are other gelato shops in the area that deserve better than this.

08/11/2025: Excellent place to enjoy local and international cuisine. Unpretentious, yet clean and well-maintained, the staff is very friendly and always available. Private and ample parking is available. A great stop if you're hungry.
20/08/2025: Nice old fashioned family hotel that reminded us of our stays in hotels in the 1970’s as kids with our parents. Nice staff. Room left us sleepless unfortunately by the heavy car sounds from the street the hotel stands next. Sounds even penetrate through a closed window. We arrived late and could eat something, which was really nice. Bathroom was ok.

10/12/2025: I visited Bar Panino Buono in Como and had a truly positive experience. The place is simple but welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the service is quite quick, even during busy hours. The sandwiches are truly delicious: fresh ingredients, tasty combinations, and generous portions.
The selection of drinks and snacks is also good, perfect for a quick break or a casual lunch.
I'm giving it 4 stars only because there are a few small details that could be improved, such as the organization during peak hours, but overall, the place is truly worth it. I'll gladly return!

01/11/2025: The service was so-so. The food, specifically the pizzoccheri, was the worst I've ever had. No garlic, no sage.
The ambiance, however, is amazing!
