03/02/2026: Typical, traditional Bergamo dishes of the highest quality. It's a historic trattoria. Both the owners and the staff are incredibly kind and genuine. I really enjoyed my stay.

03/07/2026: I usually order from home or have it delivered. I find that both on the phone and during delivery, they are very committed, friendly, and helpful. The guys who deliver the pizzas are almost always students, so they're reliable and kind.

02/06/2026: I walked in and immediately ordered pizzas to go. The wait was short and almost silent except for the usual kitchen noises. There are always tables available. Takeout pizza at a very low cost.

24/05/2026: NEVER AGAIN One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten Terrible flavor, all thin After all the decorations, location, and service... they really make terrible pizzas.

12/05/2026: I wasn't satisfied with the meal; the tomatoes weren't fresh. The chicken was roughly chopped.

26/07/2026: Avoid at all costs!! The cashier served us terrible coffee; I'm sure she re-poured the water over an old batch. And the service is appalling, very unpleasant. We had arrived with a smile, though.

06/06/2026: The atmosphere is that of a homey, unpretentious trattoria, perfect for dinner with friends. The dishes are simple and unpretentious, but delicious. Definitely try the rib eye steak (I don't remember if that's what it's called, but it's a highlight of the restaurant). The owner is very friendly, willing to share a joke without being intrusive. Convenient parking is available in front. We'll be back.

17/05/2026: A very pleasant osteria with a wide selection of vegan cicchetti, along with wines and craft beers. The place is beautiful and spacious, with a lovely internal garden (dog-friendly, which is not a given!). Plus, the staff is enthusiastic and helpful. If you're in Veronetta, you can't miss this place!

16/05/2026: Madness!! 5 spritzes and 10 taralli (2 each), but on the second go, not even those. If you want more appetizers, you have to pay for them...

08/07/2026: A while back, we decided to have an aperitivo at this bar and add something to eat. The result? One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten in my life. It tasted like it was frozen, the kind you get at the supermarket and heat up for a few minutes. Otherwise, the downtown location is good and the atmosphere is nice.

11/06/2026: Hi, I've been staying at the hotel since Monday. I found the staff friendly and the food delicious, including the pizza and breakfast. The rooms were clean and had en-suite bathrooms. It's a shame about the bad weather.

28/05/2026: After booking last November for the end of May, and reconfirming 10 days before arrival, we were told that 2 of the 4 rooms would be in another property not easily accessible on foot. Fortunately, we found another solution in the area.

11/10/2025: 5-star luxury? At Uncle Pippo's Shack Osteria, these things don't happen. €52 for two drinks, and we were served an aperitif with this spoon. I was both indignant and disgusted at the same time. It's out of the question to find these things in a place that claims to be 5-star luxury. On the verge of calling the NAS, I left with €50 less and feeling nauseous, because I realized afterwards that the spoon was dirty, even though I was using it at the beginning!!! DON'T GO THERE.

23/01/2026: The restaurant looked unassuming from the outside and inside. However, upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. A homely, family atmosphere was palpable. A smiling waiter invited us to a table and patiently waited while we placed our final order – it was difficult to decide, as the menu had so many dishes. Ultimately, we opted for the classic carbonara and gnocchi with vegetables. These were the best dishes we had at any restaurant on Lake Como during our week-long trip. The limoncello at the bar was also decent. The only thing that tempted us to visit this place was its opening hours, which didn't change during siesta – all the recommended restaurants were closed. Luckily, we found it and didn't rely on the reviews, which are definitely unfounded… If you're looking for a secluded place with delicious food (especially), we wholeheartedly recommend it!

10/01/2026: We had coffee after walking up to the Volta Lighthouse via the funicular. A nice hot chocolate or a beer for some, and then we were ready to walk back down and take the funicular again. The view of Lake Como from the restaurant or the terrace is splendid. The service was friendly.

06/05/2026: The best brioche I've ever eaten!

20/04/2026: I thought I was having a good breakfast, but it wasn't. I saw a well-leavened brioche and asked what was inside: a small bag with chocolate chips. Not a trace of chocolate chips, just melted chocolate in one spot of the tasteless brioche that stuck to my stomach. So I ate a plain dough and a bit of chocolate at the end. I've been to this bakery before, and every time something doesn't quite work. They used to ask what kind of sugar you wanted and bring it with a count. If you take something outside, you have to pay immediately. Maybe they're afraid someone won't pay, but that's not good service. The welcome isn't great.
