01/08/2025: Arrived around 4pm - got a nice view seat since no one was there but the food and drinks were the worst I’ve had in Italy. Frozen meatballs not cooked properly (definitely not nonna’s) and they lied about fresh lemonade - Fever tree lemonade is not fresh! I’m glad they replaced it the first time when the slice of lemon had black flecks on it, but they shouldn’t say they have fresh lemonade when it’s bottled and way too sweet. They also take a long time to get the check even when you ask for it in advance and you’re one of three customers. And yes, the check said Fever Tree lemonade! (There was such an awkward moment where they seemed to expect me to tip… we paid full price for food that was barely fit for my dog to eat, and had to go elsewhere to eat a proper meal.) I’m not sure if it’s because I’m an American tourist and they were punking me. :-( Another American family came in later likely from some boat trip - they seemed to have low expectations for dining - “get me a drink anything cold”

24/07/2025: 200% disappointment. Returned two of the five dishes. The strangest and most tasteless pasta with vongole. Over the past two weeks, I have tried it in five places in Italy. In this place, I returned it twice: the first time because it was oversalted, the second time because the chef overdid it with the lemon. The signature dish: perch with risotto is overfried fish in batter on dry, untrusted rice - terrible. Turbot at 60 euros does not even pull the 30 euros that it costs in most restaurants in Milan and Tuscany. But if it were still tasty, but alas - the fish itself is made in the form of a cutlet with spinach: why??? Apparently to ask for 60 euros for it. A terrible place with great pretensions to the Michelin level, but except for the prices, this place has nothing in common with Michelin restaurants.

16/02/2025: Ho messo una stella perché non si può mettere di meno per scrivere la recensione! Ci siamo fermati a pranzo e il fatto che il locale fosse deserto già ci aveva fatto insospettire. Il menù però sembrava invitante e comunque ormai avevamo chiesto la disponibilità di un tavolo: ordiniamo una porzione di spaghetti con le vongole (completamente privi di sale e totalmente insapori, tanto che per poterli mangiare abbiamo dovuto condirli con sale pepe e olio al peperoncino) da 13 euro, una porzione di fritto misto da 15 euro, una di patatine, un tè freddo e un caffè. Totale: 52 euro!!! Ho chiesto spiegazioni e mi e stato fatto un riepilogo velocissimo - da cui ho capito che la bottiglietta di tè freddo da 500 ml costa 4 euro! - dopo il quale mi è stato buttato sul bancone un foglietto scritto a mano con l'ordinazione ma non i prezzi. Oltretutto per mangiare in un posto vetusto, freddissimo e maleodorante. Da starci alla larga! Peccato perché da fuori sembrava una vecchia trattoria di campagna. Non avevo voglia di discutere, quindi ho pagato e ce ne siamo andati ma ovviamente l'ho segnato nella lista nera

08/02/2025: A place that I thought was Italian but instead there are foreign girls cooking, let's leave that aside, practically the prices are sky high, I ate the carbonara, it was disgusting, I also ate the pizza with all the ash underneath but a lot of it though, and lastly the Florentine tart which still makes me vomit and they only charged me for a price of raw meat 45 euros, a place that even if I die I will go back and many who have eaten here know that everything is disgusting, without flavour or salt, 600 grams of meat for lunch 45 euros but not even what I earn in a day and yet still frozen inside enough to vomit

10/06/2025: Pizza & Relax _ fermatomi x caso mi sono fatto tentare dalle pizze ovali servite su legno...eccellente pizza leggera e sottile. All aperto con una birra fresca...cortesi e premurosi. Devo tornare x ristorante...le premesse sono buone😉 ah...rapp qualità prezzo ottimo... Come promesso sono tornato per provare anche il ristorante e devo dire che sono rimasto soddisfatto...spaghetti frutti di mare eccellenti al cartoccio...insomma val la pena venire a fare un giro sin da Milano per trovare cortesia simpatia qualità e....perche no...prezzi giusti. Bravi Febbraio 2021...Oramai sono anni che sono un affezionato Cliente. 22/08/2025: 1 star for the view. 1 star for the friendliness of the service staff. The rest is frankly disappointing and completely uninteresting, very expensive for such mediocre quality and service. Not to mention the desserts, which are inedible. If you want even the slightest treat for your taste buds, turn back!

22/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant. A very warm welcome, the food was truly delicious, and the view is simply phenomenal. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive. It may be a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it.

19/08/2025: We ordered two kebabs for takeout. They were delivered in a pizza box that barely closed. The side was left open, resulting in cold kebabs. The biggest disappointment was that there was barely any meat inside, not even a hint of aroma. Lots of salad. Unfortunately, we hadn't read the negative reviews about the kebab beforehand, which turned out to be all correct.

29/08/2025: Good pizza, friendly and efficient service, stunning view of Lake Como It's a shame, though, that they charged me €0.50 for three basil leaves, which replaced a layer of arugula, which I still paid for.

25/08/2025: Portions are small. None of the pastas were tasty, but the biggest surprise was when the bill came. First, if you sat down at a table - 3 euros per person extra for service, they didn't warn you about it (18e). Second, they kindly offered you some water to drink while you were waiting, it turned out that water was paid for (2*7e=14e). They didn't warn you about it either. Result: 32 euros overpayment on top of small portions of tasteless pastas floating in oil, which are also not worth the money. Ice cream for 7.5 euros, that's 1 scoop. Came hungry, left hungry, left 100 euros. We don't recommend it, there are many other establishments around with really tasty food and normal portions

13/08/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner. It was a very nice and well-maintained place, nothing to complain about. I booked ahead of time for my husband's birthday, specifically asking for a table as close to the lake as possible so we could enjoy the magnificent view, but unfortunately, when we arrived, that wasn't the case. They sat us in the first available spot. I pointed this out, but they told me (sorry, ma'am, they're already taken), and we found ourselves dining in front of the entrance, watching the waiters hustle and bustle. As for the food, we decided to try the tasting menu (wine included), and believe me, for the price we paid, it's not even half the price. The pasta was quite sour, and the second course was crusted sea bass, but it looked more like a Findus cutlet fried too much. It was very dry and parched, with some chopped green beans stuck in the middle. Not to mention the dessert... I struggled to swallow it; it was a strawberry jelly, and it was frozen inside. I left it there, even pointing out that I thought they'd do better to remove it from the menu. On the other hand, I can say that we enjoyed the salted butter served with the bread. I was hoping for a very different culinary experience than what we got, especially on such a special day. But instead, I was very disappointed. I definitely won't be back!

30/07/2025: This restaurant is perfect in every way: attentive and professional waiters, fast service, and high-quality food. I chose several dishes from the menu, which turned out to be delicious. Everything takes place in an exceptional setting, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Of course, all this comes at a price, but the experience is well worth it given the quality.

20/05/2025: Maybe yes, maybe no... the food is good but many things make you turn up your nose, waiters in disarray, they got the children's dishes wrong by getting the wrong table and bringing the cutlets almost 2 hours later (and after multiple requests), they exchanged some dishes from another table, they left an extra dish that wasn't ours and marked it, so then I was even asked to pay for it! The place could be fantastic BUT, it is completely left to itself, just look at what should be a walk in the pond with a nice gazebo/pergola... and instead you find something without sense, all rotten or broken and without a minimum of decorum. In short, it has a lot of potential but it is just not exploited. Very negative note: the menu included 1/4 of wine per person, a bit little, but we were asked for a surcharge for half a liter of wine more on a menu of €45 for more than 10 people, the cake obviously (made by the restaurant) did not even include a bottle of sparkling wine and obviously no one warned us that it was not included and obviously no one asked if we wanted it. Too many "problems" to come back again...

20/04/2025: Pranzo in un giorno di festa purtroppo non all’altezza delle aspettative. Forse per il pienone del locale che ha portato ad un’attesa media di 45’-50’ minuti prima della prima portata e tra un piatto e l’altro. Qualità del cibo nella media ma esecuzione proprio non ci siamo. Riso slegato, carne cruda nel secondo piatto e porzioni da rivedere. Peccato perché la location molto carina e immersa nel verde. Personale disponibile ma chiaramente in sovraccarico per l’eccessivo numero di persone da seguire in sala.

28/07/2025: Food was ok, pizzas were nice. Food was a bit overpriced and arrived very late. They forgot one of the pizzas completely and brought it when we had all finished eating. I asked for a grown up portion of pasta of 16 euros to be shared between 2 children. They said ok and then they changed 30 euro for them. I wouldn't go back. Don't order anything that it is not clearly stated on the menu

05/08/2025: Had one of the worst meals here. An absolute tourist trap with mediocre food. The zucchiniflower was overly battered, ok in taste. My pasta was on the al-dente side but somehow watery in taste. The service was ok, but somehow intrusive and did not make you feel like a guest, but like a product. Italian restaurants have usually a great value to money ratio, this place does not offer this. We paid more than 130 euro for one starter, and two main dishes (incl. one glass of red wine and some water). I will never come back.... although the view is nice...but do yourself a favor, buy some local wine and just park next to it on the hill and enjoy the view.
