07/12/2025: We visited this restaurant today inside the Hotel Villa Flori in Cernobbio. We booked the same day, a Sunday, and were seated. A stunning location overlooking the lake, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive to their every need. The atmosphere was refined and elegant, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the background music perfect. The food was delicious, last but not least! We'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!

The food was mediocre, and I suspect even the polenta was pre-cooked. The vegetables were frozen, like those in Russian salad.
I don't know if we'll be back.

We specifically ordered a set menu, but the food wasn't up to par. While the plates looked beautiful, the flavors were definitely lacking.
Furthermore, the courses arrived a bit too quickly one after the other. Many drinks were either missing or empty. When we asked for something extra, it was sometimes forgotten.
The staff was friendly and did their best to communicate in English.
The exterior of the restaurant was also very basic, but the interior was beautiful.
12/10/2025: The place is a bit neglected compared to a few years ago. Service is a bit distracted for the restaurant's standard. (Cobwebs on the shelves) The menu could be improved, not a single dish was adequate. The prices are decidedly high. I'm disappointed because a few years ago we had a good experience. Everything needs improvement, and that's coming from someone who's worked in the industry all their life. I'm sorry, but...

18/10/2025: A definite highlight of our trip to Lake Como. The view is spectacular, even at night!
We're a younger American couple and we were treated very kindly by all the staff, so I was surprised to see other reviews stating differently. Marlene, our server, was especially charming and made the evening fun!
Our meal was delicious from the beginning with the olive tapenade and the goat cheese+veg app. If you go, absolutely get the tiramasu for dessert - the best I've ever had!
We hadn't planned to stop here, but walking in the area is difficult (get a taxi, it's worth it), and in the end I'm so glad we did!

14/11/2025: During our week-long stay around the lake, these were the best pizzas we ate during our trip.
12/11/2025: Unfortunately, we weren't able to eat here because ordering a pizza and two Aperols wasn't enough for the staff; each person had to order one dish. The waiter told us to leave, despite our request to change our order and order a second pizza, and asking about dessert and the wait time. I don't recommend it – the service was very rude, despite our friendly attitude and willingness to order. :)
The waiter simply refused to take our order, took the menu, and said bye-bye.

17/08/2025: Fantastic lunch, with quality ingredients and excellent cooking. Delicious ice cream. All this combined with a welcoming atmosphere and wonderful staff. Must try.
17/08/2025: A welcoming oasis just steps from the Italian-Swiss border. Excellent lunch, spacious and airy, friendly and helpful owners. Fantastic gelato. Definitely worth trying again.

14/12/2025: Exquisite dishes, a picture-perfect view on a November day. We had a late lunch; it was crowded, and luckily there was room. There were five of us, and we ordered one of the specials of the day, and they served us polenta with passata, sausages, and porcini and button mushrooms.
From the first bite of the mushrooms, we knew we were in the right place.
With a view of Lake Como, such delicious dishes, and excellent service, we couldn't help but be satisfied.

The non-alcoholic cocktail was basically a mix of two fruit juices, while the alcoholic cocktail wasn't bad.
The bar seemed in a hurry to close by noon.
