24/10/2025: Delicious food, served quickly. Very friendly and helpful staff, one of whom spoke a little Polish to us. The place has a pleasant atmosphere, as if the staff knew everyone who came in.

05/10/2025: We ate the first cassoeula of the year, it was delicious and after a bit of gorgonzola and taleggio that melted in the mouth, the service was excellent thanks to the brothers Fabio and Ivan who are the best in service as well as friendliness and I think that in conclusion they are generally UNIQUE

16/10/2025: We're so sorry to have to write this review, because the food and location are truly exceptional, but unfortunately the reception ruined a very important day for us. It was our daughter's baptism, and since the ceremony was at 3:00 PM, we opted for the 5:00 PM reception. The day before, we had delivered the decorations (just a few small embellishments), which we were assured would be ready before our arrival. We were also told that if we wanted to check or make changes, we could arrive half an hour early. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 5:00 PM, we found the room still occupied by the previous shift and nothing was ready. We were asked to wait outside, where there were only two benches—and there were about fifty of us—in the cold and wind. At 5:45 PM, with a baby girl in my arms and several elderly people waiting, I asked to come in. We had to set up the room ourselves while the staff set out water and wine at the tables. When it came to the bill, I would have at least expected an apology, but unfortunately, it never came. Instead, we were met with a rude response: "Well, ma'am, if you hadn't come in, we would have set up the dining room for you." Too bad it was almost 6 PM, and after all that waiting, it was truly unacceptable. A great disappointment, because the quality of the cuisine and the beauty of the place deserved a much higher level of organization and customer service.

14/10/2025: A beautiful agriturismo. There are animals you can get up close and personal with. There are pigs, horses, donkeys, roosters, chickens, and various breeds of geese and ducks. The service was excellent, and so was the food. Unfortunately, I don't have many photos of the dishes, so I can't comment on whether they were expensive or not, since it was a gift. I can only say that everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the liqueur. Given how busy it was, I recommend making a reservation.

22/09/2025: Kind and polite owners and staff, impeccable service and delicious food! Additionally, the restaurant (hotel) offers 2 halls suitable for group/company events. The venue is strategically positioned between Como, Lecco, Milan and Bergamo, which offers excellent logistical connections to main North Italian arteries and 3 airports.

14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!

15/10/2025: What a stroke of luck! We stumbled upon "Il Malombra" quite by chance – a beautifully situated restaurant high above Lake Lugano, with stunning views of the mountains and a special, warm atmosphere. We were there as a family – my wife, our 6-year-old daughter (currently a very picky eater), and our 8-month-old baby. Upon arrival, we received an incredibly friendly welcome; everything seemed relaxed, personal, and genuine. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, cozy, and unpretentious – simply authentic and run with love. The food was simply fantastic: I had a venison ragout with tagliatelle, my wife had homemade chestnut ravioli with pumpkin cream and local truffle – both dishes were absolutely delicious. Our daughter initially only wanted spaghetti on its own, but then tried my ragout – and liked it so much that she immediately got her own portion and devoured it all. That says it all! Absolutely great value for money, absolutely outstanding quality. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day—right before our departure. So if you're in the Valsolda area, go and enjoy!

14/10/2025: We ate at Mario's twice during our five days on Lake Lugano, and both times it was simply fantastic: delicious, authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. Thank you for your hospitality, Mario. We'll be back!

31/07/2025: It's my favorite place. I always leave delighted. Everything is always delicious and very well prepared. The fruit sorbets are exceptional.

15/09/2025: The staff was very nice and it truly has a beautiful location. The food however, I’m not sure where to start. This was the worst tasting food Ive ever had in a restaurant. We actually paid to leave and they were nice enough to discount us. Again, they are very nice but for food, this is the last place you should choose. Ive never experienced something like this before, truly horrible.

08/10/2025: This place rocks. It is about as authentic as it gets here in Como. Food was fantastic and the owner took us under his wing and fed us some of the best pasta and pork roast that we have ever had. The whole experience was great!

05/10/2025: Unfortunately, these days, the customer has to pay all the costs of catering. If you want to make a living while maintaining high quality, as is the case here, you have to accept these prices. Fantastic place and excellent, young, and polite staff.

07/09/2025: I enjoyed the meal at Rive. However, the service was a bit slow, even though the restaurant wasn't full for a long time. Unfortunately, the truffle pasta was almost unseasoned and only edible with a lot of extra salt. A shame considering the price! The other courses, as well as the wine recommendations, were very tasty! We felt at home.

01/09/2025: We came hungry. We spent a long time choosing a restaurant with normal reviews. We found this enoteca. We wanted to sit outside, because the rain had stopped long ago. But the seats outside were wet. We asked them to wipe them off, and only 10 minutes later someone came out to clean them. When we sat down, it turned out that the neighboring houses were throwing their garbage out on the street 2 meters from the restaurant, and the outside of the restaurant really smelled of rot. We asked to be moved inside. They led us somewhere to the farthest hall, gave us a menu and forgot about us. We counted off another 15 minutes and started to leave. When I told the manager about this, they told me that service is in order of the queue and they would probably get to us someday. We left and found a place nearby where they took our order in 3 minutes and also had good reviews. Some people in this city do not want to do anything for your money, it seems like you owe them something. At this time they themselves live in filth and stench and with false smiles pretend to be gourmets.

09/10/2025: Fantastic pizza. Both gluten-free and regular. I've eaten hundreds of them in different parts of Italy, and this and another are the absolute best pizzas I've ever had. Sincere compliments, masters of the dough. I'll be enjoying more tonight.

02/10/2025: Lovely people working here- we were stuck due to road closures and stopped in to grab breakfast and try to figure out how to catch our flight. The wonderful hostess was able to find a taxi service who would be able to take us. The breakfast was also a good deal with a beautiful view.
