14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!

20/09/2025: Those who enjoy secluded spots with splendid lake views and aren't afraid of driving on narrow, winding mountain roads will definitely enjoy this place. The breakfast is fabulous, and could easily double as lunch. The owners are friendly and courteous. Recommended.

27/04/2026: My stay at Hotel Villa Aurora in Lezzeno was outstanding. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a wide variety of fresh items to choose from each morning. The views over Lake Como and the surrounding mountains were absolutely spectacular and made the setting feel truly special. The service throughout my stay was friendly and efficient, and the entire hotel was clean, well maintained, and easy to find. Staff were consistently attentive, receptive, and very helpful with any questions or requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here agaIn’

27/04/2026: At first, we were a little apprehensive when we arrived in the middle of the night. The parking lot seemed small, and there were a lot of people outside the hotel, which suggested there might be some noise. In the end, 10 minutes later, everyone had left, and anyway, our room was across the street and opened directly onto a terrace overlooking the lake. The staff was extremely helpful. The restaurant is very good. We weren't able to take advantage of all the hotel's amenities because we had planned to do some sightseeing, but if we were to do it again, we would definitely set aside a day to enjoy the stand-up paddleboards available to guests. As an added bonus, we were able to rent a boat (no license required) from the hotel, which allowed us to discover the lake from a different perspective.

01/06/2026: My wife has tried other restaurants up here by Villa Rubini where we were staying, and once we tried Osteria Aqua Ciara, we knew we'd be back. The views are just as nice as MamaGina’s, so don't make your choices based off just that point! We got the squid ink tagliatelle both days, and it was cooked perfectly both days. Light but full of flavor with shrimp that popped. Their calamari, SO LIGHT and crispy and tender, genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. The chef/owner was there both days, and was warm and welcoming. If you’re up here by Brunate, whether for a stay or for the sights, this place will not disappoint!

24/05/2026: Acqua Ciara enjoys a truly privileged location, with a panoramic terrace overlooking the lake, undoubtedly one of the restaurant's main strengths. The view is remarkable and makes lunch particularly enjoyable, especially on clear days. We spent around €55 per person and overall the experience was positive, especially for the quality of the cuisine. The starter platter was excellent, plentiful and well-stocked, with good-quality cured meats and cheeses accompanied by preserves and honey. The first courses were also very convincing: the squid ink tagliatelle with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and burrata were well-balanced, carefully presented, and pleasing to the palate. The gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and cheese fondue were also delicious, flavorful and well-executed. The fried food was light and dry, with well-cooked ingredients and not excessively greasy. The service was friendly and helpful, with appropriate timing between courses and a relaxed atmosphere. The only aspect that leaves some doubt, considering the price and the potential of the location, is the outdoor furniture. The railing in need of repainting and the plastic tables and chairs slightly detract from the overall experience, which with more refined materials would be much more in keeping with the panoramic setting and the restaurant's offerings. Overall, it remains a recommended experience, especially for those seeking refined cuisine accompanied by a stunning view of the lake.

11/06/2026: In my humble opinion, one of the top three pizzerias in Como, and undoubtedly the #1 for Neapolitan pizza. I personally recommend: Calzone bianco spaccato al pepe!

09/06/2026: Firstly I do not normally leave a review but I feel I need to for this ‘restaurant’. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the price point. The steak was chewy and not tender at all. The owner barely greeted us, and did not want us to sit us outside despite our reservation request of being outside! He proceeded to sit on his phone near us the whole time we ate. Overall very dissatisfied. So many nicer places in the local area and for a much more reasonable price!! DO NOT GO.

06/06/2026: They used to have really good Italian ice cream, the flavors changed regularly, and they had great cones. Unfortunately, that's all gone now with the new owner... what a shame.

23/05/2026: If you go thinking you are going to have a lovely pizza in the center of Como for 6-8€ as they are showing you in google maps... wrong place! The pizza's prices start from 14€ each + coperto... The pizza was ok but not woth the price
