07/10/2025: My family and I have been to Mandragola many times and we had a really good time, the owners are welcoming and smiling, the service is excellent and fast, the dishes are exquisite and delicious, the owners almost always to entertain their customers sometimes have evenings with musical groups, shows and more now in this period they will have special events like Halloween party and in November there are 2 events Karaoke and the Thief of Faces which is a musical show and in December there is the special 90s evening you just have to choose and have fun, then they do modern and traditional cuisine are always special and extraordinary dishes special and very sweet welcome full of sincere affection, my family and I have always had a great time and we have always had a lot of fun it's like being at home Mandragola has always been our second home and still is I recommend you go there and you will not be disappointed kisses and hugs from your mascia Italian mummy

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished. The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.

03/07/2025: Our second visit to this restaurant, and this time we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were excellent, and the interior was cozy. A very nice and warm atmosphere. This year, the older chef came by again and asked us if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was okay. And it was! As we left, we made sure to thank him personally once again! We'll definitely be back. Thank you very much!

07/12/2025: We've been to Agriturismo La Pioppa several times in recent years for lunches with friends and dinners with colleagues. It's a classic agriturismo with an all-inclusive fixed menu. The menu would be rated 3 stars, as it depends heavily on luck and personal taste, depending on the menu you find on the weekend. The overall rating drops to 1 star considering the VERY STRICT booking and no-show payment policies. We booked over a month in advance and paid three times for 23 people (15 adults and 8 children). The night before lunch, two people (a father and a child) at the table fell ill. We called to let them know of the absence that morning, but there was no way to avoid being charged 50% of the three missing people (yes, including the cost of a 4-year-old child), for a total of €57. In conclusion, this agriturismo is definitely to be avoided if you're hosting a large group, especially with children, where the unexpected or last-minute illness is always around the corner.

18/09/2025: In search of the best ice cream parlor in Domaso, I landed here – and what can I say: a direct hit! An Italian puppeteer once told me that the best ice cream is always hidden in silver ice barrels, "well chilled like on a glacier," and not under a mountain of cookie crumbs and sweets. That's exactly what it was here – pure, creamy, divine. Our recommendation: Strawberry yogurt. A taste like a mini-vacation in the Alps, but without the cold feet. The saleswoman? So welcoming that you could almost forget you're actually there for the ice cream. And the shop itself: beautifully decorated, so that as soon as you walk in, you think: "I'm going to stick around here." If you don't try ice cream here in Domaso, you're missing out on the dolce vita.

14/09/2025: The ice cream is great 👍. 3 scoops for €4. Very tasty. We went there almost every day. The selection is plentiful, with about 20 flavors.

02/11/2025: Nice bar with a spectacular view of the lake. It's a shame it's almost always full—you absolutely need a reservation. The prices are quite high, but the presentation is exquisite and spectacular. Great place for a drink or a quick snack. For the location and view alone, it deserves five stars.

18/08/2025: We had an aperitivo evening, took a coffee break, and ate gelato. Prices for aperitivo were average, perhaps more for appetizers, which would earn at least a star more for the service. Unfortunately, it's a bit slow, both in terms of serving and, paradoxically, also in terms of paying. The gelato is a real highlight, and I highly recommend it to everyone, even for its appearance. The service could be improved, but otherwise, it's a nice place for any time of day.
