14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!

15/07/2025: Questa trattoria si trova in una via strettissima (via 5 giornate) ed è gestita da un personale davvero eccezionale. E' arredata in maniera "spartana" ma credetemi, l'apparenza inganna!I prezzi sono davvero modici considerando la qualità eccelsa del servizio che offrono. La scelta è ampissima: carne, pesce, salumi e formaggi, oltre ad una cantina davvero ben fornita. Ottima l'idea di servire la bistecca di picanha appoggiata su una pietra bollente, anche se devo ammettere che le pietanze cucinate dal cuoco sono un qualcosa di sublime..Se transitate a Cernobbio, fermatevi qui

01/06/2025: Nice place to enjoy excellent dishes, especially meat, accompanied by selected beers. The only flaw is the service a bit slow and actually the music a bit loud which does not encourage conversation at the table. However, I recommend it also because the prices are absolutely adequate.

01/06/2025: After a course we decided with a group of friends to finish the evening in this ice cream shop. Very nice. Easy to find because it is on the main road. Parking in the area. Super ice cream cups and also pastries and coffee! Drinks and cocktails naturally present!

30/06/2025: From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a good meal. We ordered tagliolini gialli with porcini mushrooms and truffles, SPECTACULAR. I think it was without a doubt the best pasta I've ever had. A feast of flavor in your mouth. Then we had the pennette alla Bolognese, which was also delicious. And to finish, the Genoa pizza, also very good and with delicious dough. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which, while not one of the best we tried, was very tasty. And the affogato, which was also spectacular. One of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend it and will return for the tagliolini and to try the other dishes.

14/07/2025: The kitchen opened at 7:00 PM, but we were still able to order a pizza. At our request, the chef made a meat pizza, a pizza paesana. Salami, bacon, sausage, ham, tomato, cheese, and onion. It was fantastic. Moreover, it was one of the largest pizzas we'd ever seen. Fantastic service.

06/07/2025: The restaurant is nice with a pleasant atmosphere. The service is decent with a bit unpleasant waiters. The food is good but nothing exceptional (especially the desserts of low quality).

25/07/2025: Took my parents and my girlfriend for a lovely dusk dinner. Cant fault the views: it’s nestled in a little depression beside the Via Statale, totally on its own there, has its own pier (we chose to take a boat to the restaurant), as do most other guests, and has broad views looking north up Como. Pretty staggering. The service (Marko) was exceptional - thoughtful, friendly and attentive without being overbearing (and just enough flirting with my mum…). The food was good, local, game and lake-fish heavy - but the only area they fell at all short. My mushroom tart was pretty soft and squishy (technical terms), and the tagliata di manzo was a little tough. The pasta (we had the crab ragú and duck papardelle) was absolutely delicious, however.

15/07/2025: The Hotel San Giuseppe was the perfect place to stay for our family trip to Cernobbio. The hotel has a rich local tradition, and the rooms, including air conditioning and bathrooms, are modern. It is family-run (three generations involved) and is just a few minutes' walk from the center, where there are many restaurants and attractions. Unfortunately, the in-house restaurant was closed that day, so we cannot rate it. For breakfast, we had fresh croissants, coffee, yogurt, omelets, toasted sandwiches, and everything your heart could desire (à la carte). Parking is available in the back courtyard for a small fee. The value for money was definitely good for this area, and we would stay there again anytime.

15/06/2025: I can't comment on the hotel, but I've been there several times for lunch. I can recommend it without reservation. I like the ambiance almost better. The hotel is family-run. The owner is attentive and always has a good joke on his lips. The location is quite hidden, so it's worth seeking out.
