It's always been a local favorite for trout fishing. I hadn't been back in about 8 or 9 years. I spent an hour spinning and found a clean, tidy lake with excellent staff, especially the one with the whiskers, whose photo I've attached, and who I happily treated to a trout! 😍
What can I say? I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!

09/12/2025: After a walk, it's the ideal place to refresh yourself and warm up. The food is good and the welcome is warm. The staff is kind and helpful. The braised meat is truly tender, accompanied by polenta with a delicious sauce.

18/02/2026: Today I had two coffees and two pieces of focaccia for a total of €16. Plus, four Chiacchere (typical Italian dishes) for €1 each. It seems really excessive. Plus, the welcome was truly embarrassing. Negative.

20/02/2026: A new chef recently arrived at McNally's. I can assure anyone reading this review that the quality has been REMARKABLE. Chef Catia is truly a great cook, and her passion for her craft and skill shine through in everything she prepares. High-quality traditional cuisine, and every dish prompts you to mop up the bread with the breadcrumbs, which, according to etiquette, should be done discreetly, but I do it almost arrogantly every time... Jasmine is attentive and courteous at the tables, and Marsilio is and always will be a great host.

16/12/2025: My partner and I are extremely satisfied because we ordered a pizza that wasn't on the menu, yet they were kind enough to prepare it exactly as we requested: a crust-filled pizza filled with ricotta and mortadella. The tiramisu was delicious, and beautifully presented in a very cute little pan. They really made our wish come true!
Furthermore, the service was very quick and they immediately understood our request.

06/02/2026: We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here in 2015 and we try to come back every year. In those 10 years, the food, service and atmosphere have never dipped below 5 stars. They were very accommodating and really went above and beyond for our rehearsal dinner and remember us every year. Hopefully we're lucky enough to go for another 10 years!

Well worth a visit.

A must go when you like meat!!!
At the time we were in the restaurant it was still very quiet, no other customers.
On other days when we past by the restaurant it was always very busy.
