18/05/2025: Couldnt get any ferry tickets to Bellagio on a busy Sunday, so instead we took a bus from Como to Menaggio! Arrived at the bus stop and Tato is just 50m beside it, Perfect view from the restaurant, Orderd Calamari, crispy and fresh light battered, with garlic aioli cream for a great start. Next the Linguine alle Vongole is absolutely scrumptious, a beautifully emulsified sea aroma clam sauce with parsley and lots of clam! Enjoyed it with their moscasto and it is delizioso!

16/05/2025: We had a wonderful time in the restaurant. I had the gluten free pizza Romana, my girlfriend the normal Romana. She said there was nearly no difference between them, with them being both great! They used a different oven for the gluten free pizza, I had no stomach issues. I can recommend Tato an will definitely come again :)

07/04/2025: We chose the Croce di Malta Restaurant to celebrate our wedding in September 2024, what can I say... we couldn't have made better choices! We were looked after impeccably by Elena and her family and we have wonderful memories of both the day and everything that came before. The quantity and quality of the food is truly excellent, the greenery surrounding the structure is well-kept and was the backdrop to our day, the service was attentive and courteous at all times. We couldn't have made a better choice for us and our guests!

31/05/2025: I did not like its pizza. Also a bad (like low quality oil) taste left in my mouth afterwards. Maybe its other dishes could be better. But not pizzas.

30/05/2025: Very tasty pasta and risotto - we ordered five dishes - all simply delicious. The restaurant has few tables, air conditioning, very pleasant atmosphere. Quiet and very tasty!

22/05/2025: We ate meat with polenta and mushrooms, which was dog food! The best part was the grappa, which was free!

19/05/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At Trattoria Edda you can breathe the authentic atmosphere of true Italian hospitality. The three brothers who run it are always available, kind and thoughtful: they make you feel at home from the first moment. Last night we enjoyed tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and veal with tuna sauce, simply exquisite, with attention to flavors and presentation. A more than excellent experience, which I recommend without a shadow of a doubt to anyone who wants to eat well and feel welcomed with warmth and simplicity. We will definitely be back!

14/04/2025: Let me start by saying that it is a pub that I have always enjoyed frequenting, but recently things have really changed. Around 9.00 on Sunday 13.04.25 I go as usual to buy a pack of cigarettes. Given the time that was passing, which I didn't initially complain about since it was Sunday for me and I wasn't in a hurry, I decided to eat a brioche. I won't go into details, but I can safely say that it's quicker to do an international check-in at Malpensa. The gentleman at the cash register, who I believe is the owner, was rude and slow, slow, slow for no apparent reason... my guys, a smile if you want to do this job, otherwise go to the factory, with all due respect for those who find themselves having to work in the factory... I'm disappointed, I wish we could go back to its former splendors! applause to the staff between the tables who always smile and say hello!

04/12/2024: Peccato che in locali come questo dove i sapori ed i profumi dei cibi , cucinati con maestria e serviti in modo cordiale dai gestori venga consentito l’uso delle sigarette elettroniche . . come dite ? . . lo consente la legge ? . . mmhh ma forse suggerire ai clienti elettronici di uscire 5 minuti per i loro bisogni preserverebbe il gusto dei piatti da aromi al mentolo o eucalipto che con ossobuco o brasato non c’entrano proprio nulla . . mi spiace terró presente

The service was dreadfully slow and forgetful - we had to persistently ask for basic items like menus and water, which seemed to be an arduous task for them. When we eventually received our bread, we had to specifically request olive oil, only to be served vegetable oil instead. This was only rectified when the owner realized I was Italian, suggesting a lack of respect towards tourists. The staff's demeanor made every request feel like a burden, leading to an uncomfortable dining atmosphere. The owner's presence was more accusatory than welcoming, further dampening our experience. Our food took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive, and the prices were excessively high given the painfully poor service. Despite its attractive decor, the overall experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly tiring and frustrating. I believe potential customers should be forewarned about these issues before choosing to dine here. *in response to the owner who said: “go take a tour on the lake.” A perfect example of the attitude here — dismissive, arrogant, and uninterested in feedback. 02/05/2025: Absolutely loved our experience at Sant’Anna in Como! The food was amazing — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The highlight for me was the pistachio dessert, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality. A true gem — highly recommend!

22/04/2025: Seit Jahren besuchen wir immer wieder die Pizzeria Colibri, wenn wir zu einem Kurzaufenthalt in der Region Comer See sind. Auch diesmal wurden wir mit sher gutem Essen und Freundlichkeit bestens bewirtet. Wieder einmal ein Höhepunkt - die Penne Arrabiata. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Stop.

20/04/2025: Pranzo di Pasqua al Colibrì. Cibo molto buono con delle fantastiche penne saporite e una buonissima pizza Margherita. Personale come sempre molto simpatico e accogliente. Noi andiamo al Colibrì durante le festività da 5 anni circa, ed è stato sempre il nostro punto di riferimento per Natale, Pasqua... Ci vediamo presto!

18/05/2025: We had lunch here to celebrate a communion and we had a great time. The food is really very good: my goodness, what a spectacular risotto!! The portions are generous. The staff is very kind and friendly.
