25/04/2026: The service was completely fine, the other reviews are probably talking about the fact that they are working fast. The ice cream was delicious and the place is clean and nice. The ice creams are priced by how big of a cone/cup you choose.

19/06/2026: Last night (June 18th) I spent a reunion with two other friends at the quaint MC Nally. We had a great time. The owner was very kind and served us an excellent dinner. The beer was also delicious! We'll definitely be back!

06/07/2026: A go-to place for me, one I've had the pleasure of trying several times! The meat is excellent, both in terms of cooking and the quality of the ingredients, as are the baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. Great location and a very varied menu that also offers Mexican dishes, as well as Argentinean, American, and Italian cuts of meat. I highly recommend the classic mixed grill for two (for just over €40 total, you'll eat well and be happy). Fair service and drinks, with an interesting quality/quantity/price ratio that's hard to match elsewhere. Well done, keep it up! 💪💪💪

13/07/2026: A magnificent historic villa on the shores of Lake Como. Its elegant architecture, perfectly manicured gardens, and lakeside promenade make it an ideal place for a stroll. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the views of the mountains and the lake are superb. Whether visiting an exhibition or simply enjoying the grounds, Villa Olmo is a must-see during a stay in Como.

There were activities of all kinds, such as gardening, visiting the forest within the association's grounds, seeing their church, and exploring their meeting room. In short, everything was perfect and deservedly 5 stars, including the fact that they maintained the place and kept it very clean.

25/02/2026: Excellent food, but it's the soul of the place that makes the difference. The paella is exquisite and the meat is superb!!! Matteo and his partner make you feel like guests more than customers: he's down-to-earth, friendly, and like one of the family. We left with a smile and a free bag of herbs for our herbal tea, a truly thoughtful touch. Definitely book a table to enjoy this carefree experience. We'll definitely be back.

11/06/2026: It's been a while since I went to get pastries from Melillo, yes because they are not pastries like in the north they are pastries because they are enormous and Good with a capital B, try it and believe it and if the price doesn't suit you go and get the tasteless ones from the supermarkets.... I highly recommend the babà with strawberries

03/05/2026: We had reserved a table at this restaurant for our last evening at Lake Como. Our expectations were quite high due to the good reviews. We got a table right by the water. When we opened the menu, the prices initially shocked us. Yes, Lake Como is expensive, and we're happy to spend more for good food... but paying almost €30 for a 'normal' pasta dish was still a bit much. Well, since it was our last evening, we ordered what we fancied anyway (one pasta with pistachio cream and prawns, one fish with a side dish). Both were €30 each, plus a side salad (which consisted of just a few green leaves, some other carelessly arranged bits and pieces, and far too much dressing made from plain yogurt). This salad then cost an unbelievable €14. A bottle of wine started at €30 (online price €12). To our disappointment, the food didn't really live up to expectations. My pasta tasted of absolutely nothing. It was so bland that any homemade sauce would taste better. There were a maximum of three prawns on the plate, cut into tiny pieces. My partner's fish was lukewarm. For the price, we simply expected more. The only time anyone asked if everything was okay was at the very end, when the table was finally cleared. I said "well," and poof, the plates were gone, and no one asked any further questions. The female server (with short hair on the sides) was very friendly. The male server (with a larger belly), on the other hand, seemed forcedly friendly and was rather unpleasant. We definitely wouldn't come back. Yes, the view was nice, but you can get that almost anywhere on Lake Como.
