28/06/2025: Locale arredato in modo semplice e minimalista, atmosfera un pò chic con uno spazio anche all'aperto. Buono il servizio, gentile il personale e sicuramente buono il cibo, con proposte originali. Hanno anche una bella carta dei vini. Forse i prezzi sono un po' alti per alcune portate, ad esempio alcuni secondi; abbiamo mangiato una buona amatriciana ma ritengo che, anche in questo caso, il suo costo poteva inferiore.

01/06/2025: L'esperienza vale il nome del locale. Assolutamente non adatto a bambini in quanto nonostante il cibo si di ottima qualità ma troppo elaborato per i bambini. Inoltre è da matti il prezzo di 3 piatti di affettati (due fette di salame 4 di coppa, pancetta e mortadella) 51€ e mi fermo qui. Locale consigliato solo per matti

15/12/2025: Memories of my youth, when on Saturday afternoons we'd stroll along the Corso and then savor the exquisite goodness of the bakery on Via Cavour. A must-try for pizza by the slice, both in the past and now. Today, it's a regular date with my little girl, who's happy to be taken aback. A couple of slices each to settle our midweek dinner 😋😋😋

24/11/2025: The famous pizza slice came to €2.80. Smaller and greasier. Almost raw. Get it.

18/10/2025: The place is closed and sold everything dissolved what should the website actually do here

02/10/2025: We didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on that. Google Maps shows a footpath to the lakeshore, which requires going through the campsite. You can see the lake from the entrance area. Unfortunately, the resolute lady at the reception desk didn't let us through. I can understand that during the season, but not in early October, when there's nothing going on and she can constantly observe us from her spot. It would have been a nice gesture to save us the detour via the harbor.

13/11/2025: Lots of choice with attractive discounts. A bit chaotic.

21/10/2025: One of the best clothing outlets I've visited: medium-sized (three large floors of a building on the main shopping street in Salò). Good basic discounts, which can be significantly increased at times if you have their card (up to 80-90% off). A wide variety of excellent clothing for women and men, and some for children. Really good deals. Friendly, unobtrusive staff.

07/03/2026: The place is small, consisting of only two rooms, but it's welcoming and well-decorated. It's located right next to the ski slope; we stopped here for lunch. After looking at the menu, we decided to eat outside at the outdoor kiosk. Our choice was prompted by the price of a first course (€25), which we thought was excessive. They don't offer table service at the kiosk, and the food options are limited: nuggets and three types of sandwiches. The place is very nice and quiet, well-located along the slope, but unfortunately, we thought the prices were a bit high.

29/12/2025: I ordered two coffees, one regular and one long. The regular had four drops at the bottom of the cup, and my long had no crema and a lot of dregs, which was disgusting to say the least. I'm disappointed, especially because it's usually pretty good. But what I didn't like was that they served it to me as if it were standard procedure to make two espressos out of one!

26/12/2025: We sat inside during the winter, so the lakeside location wasn't that important. There was no menu; we simply ordered directly from the waiter. The café d'orzo was tasty – I can't comment on the food.

01/12/2025: A terrible place, neglected courtesy, a dark place, a biblical wait. The two girls in the dining room run from left to right, but they can't do everything...

02/09/2025: We were wandering around the area, and given it was lunchtime, we spotted the place because of its limited parking space and the crowds, so we stopped in without a second thought. The atmosphere was quaint and homey, so we asked for a table, and the kindness of the owner, Elide Doris, welcomed us. The lady serving us brought us the menu: casoncelli bresciani and bigoli with duck ragù. The aroma of fresh ingredients was delicious, a well-presented dish. We found the carne salada (a specialty we'd discovered in Trentino) and the venison morsels. The atmosphere is retro, but we like simple things; it takes us back to a time when everything was different.

22/01/2026: An exasperating slowness: 45 minutes of waiting for a piadina seems excessive to me

04/01/2026: The piadina had no toppings; we basically ate just dough and salad. The fries were old and cold.

27/08/2025: I ordered an egg, cheese, and speck. The plate was small, and the speck was nonexistent, as was the cheese. As per the photo in the review, I didn't even get bread. The wait time for a fried egg? Over 25 minutes. Other tables were served first, even though they arrived later. I should point out that there were only four of us. I'm sorry, but it was a terrible experience. The prices, finally, were too high for the quantities served... at least on the dish I ordered! It was a small one.

31/10/2025: We still can't understand the bad reviews (just like last year). The ambiance is great and fits perfectly with the Italian lifestyle. In our opinion, the food is more than satisfactory. To put it simply... it tastes delicious! 🤤 The service is very warm and friendly. We felt very well taken care of here once again. (As a result, we ate here twice this year.) Shout out to the two lovely waitresses! ✌️ We'll be back next year. 👌

02/01/2026: I ordered takeout, they arrived 40 minutes late and the pizzas were completely cold.

10/09/2025: The room had an unbearable chlorine smell. The source of the smell was likely a wall next to the bed, where we found extensive mold growth (possibly treated with chlorine). Furthermore, the room didn't even come close to the rooms advertised on the website. The rest of the hotel facilities also didn't resemble the one on the website. We reported the room's deficiencies to reception, whereupon the gentleman responded very rudely and without any apology. We were offered a different room, but since we had lost all trust in this hotel, we decided to leave immediately. The hotel stopped responding to emails requesting a price reduction. Neither the condition of the hotel itself (especially the rooms) nor the way it handled problems like these is worthy of a 4-star hotel. This is unlikely to be an isolated incident, as can be seen from other reviews. Nevertheless, the hotel appears to continue to (knowingly) allocate the specifically affected rooms to other guests without remedying the defects (harmful mold, etc.).

07/06/2025: Premetto che non è mia consuetudine scrivere recensioni né in senso positivo che negativo. Trovare insalata nel mio piatto ancora sporca di terra non è stato gradevole. A maggior motivo quando la stessa cosa è avvenuta ad un amica seduta al tavolo con me. Fatto presente il tutto al cameriere lo stesso si è ripetutamente scusato eliminando le portate dal conto. Purtroppo devo constatare che la qualità dei piatti in generale è peggiorata rispetto ad alcuni (pochi) anni fa. Rapporto qualità prezzo non adeguato. Nb. Da porre attenzione agli scontrini. In due occasioni distinte ( pranzo di Pasqua e pranzo con amici) vi erano più pietanze di quelle ordinate). LOCATION STUPENDA

30/05/2025: Bella la presentazione ma il cibo nulla di eccezionale, vale di più il panorama con la vista sul lago. Non penso di ritornarci.
