25/08/2024: They served us very quickly, perhaps too quickly, very good food even if the venison was too spicy. Good cakes with generous portions. Important point for eating and resting after a walk. Advised!

14/08/2024: The Ruffoni restaurant in Ornica is a true culinary jewel. I had the pleasure of tasting the best pizzoccheri and fresh pasta with venison ragù, and I have to say that they were among the best dishes I have ever tasted. Furthermore, the polenta taragna with braised meat was simply delicious and conquered my palate. Even though the price might be a little higher than other restaurants, I can guarantee that every penny spent was worth it. The food is of high quality and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend a visit to the Ruffoni Restaurant in Ornica to all lovers of good food.

15/08/2024: Excellent food, the route to reach it is feasible even for inexperienced people. The only flaw is that there are some trees missing to provide some shade in the summer season.

13/08/2024: Let's talk about the name REFUGE of refuge now you have very little. After two hours of walking without a reservation you can't have lunch even if on the site they advertise bar service and sandwiches for passing hikers, I ask for a dessert and a beer but I have to settle for just drinking, I am told that if I want a slice of cake I have to wait until 3pm at the end of the lunch shift. Beautiful view but go with lunch or book, the appearance is that of a restaurant.

14/08/2024: Ice cream shop discovered by chance, in the enchanting micro village of Rusio. A small cone of 1 or 2 flavors costs €3.00, not a little but worth it, also considering where the ice cream shop is located. If you are in the Castione della Presolana area, I suggest you go and find this ice cream shop.

09/08/2024: There is little to say, A GUARANTEE! Discovered about 3 years ago, now a fixed stop when we are in the area. Not only is the ice cream with goat's milk fantastic, but the granitas are absolutely worth trying. Personally I love the watermelon one

17/08/2024: Troppo caro. Troppo! Certamente sono prodotti buoni e selezionati. In due abbiamo preso la raclette, un pezzo di formaggio condiviso servito con giardiniera (un mini vasetto di verdure) e un piattino di salumi condiviso 30€ a testa! Quindi 60€ solo la raclette. Con una birra, un succo di mela, una fetta di dolce, 85€ Direi che si è perso il senso e la misura delle cose. Posto carino ma eccessivamente caro. Andrebbero rivisti i prezzi.

17/08/2024: Too expensive. Too! They are certainly good and selected products. The two of us had the raclette, a shared piece of cheese served with giardiniera (a mini jar of vegetables) and a shared plate of cured meats, €30 each! So €60 just the raclette. With a beer, an apple juice, a slice of dessert, €85 I would say that the meaning and measure of things has been lost. Nice and well-kept place, the owner very attentive and kind but it is the cost that is excessively expensive. In my opinion the prices should be revised.

17/08/2024: Pensavo fosse meglio.. Capesante gratinate molto piccole,cmq buone. Il piatto forte(orecchiette allo scoglio) con cozze moooolto piccole e con poco sapore, lupini buoni,pochi aperti, troppi chiusi(5 in 1 piatto), gamberi ok(2),gusto normale, da pranzo di lavoro.. Il pescato del giorno(ombrina) poco sapore.. Mi spiace, siamo rimasti delusi.. Se fosse stato un menù da pranzo di lavoro sarebbe andato bene.. Ma come cena del sabato sera(e relativo prezzo), proprio non ci siamo... Il nostro paragone è un ristorante in Abruzzo.. Stesso prezzo, un altro pianeta... Mi spiace proprio..

17/08/2024: I ate polenta with braised meat. Really very good and tender meat. The polenta is nothing special. It can be improved 😉
