18/03/2025: I took the psyche menu, a menu that the chef creates based on your personal tastes. The dishes were phenomenal, the selection and pairing of wines excellent! Special note for their honey bread with homemade butter, crazy! The staff is very attentive and welcoming, but also easy-going, you can easily laugh and joke with them, which makes the experience much more human. The design of the restaurant is also very beautiful. Super recommended!

16/03/2025: Ancora una volta un ottima cena all'Osteria del Sass. Questa volta siamo venuti in 4...l'antipasto con il porro e la crema di mela e rafano l'abbiamo tutti e 4 trovato geniale. Colpo di genio trattare scherzosamente il porro come fossero dei nighiri di sushi, eccezionale la cremina acida di mela e zenzero con la cenere di olive nere... un piatto stellato per idea ed esecuzione. Dopo di che c'è stato un piccoloa caduta sul risotto, buono, ma per il nostro gusto il delicato sapore degli agrumi e gamberi era rimasto coperto dalla sapidità del parmigiano, probabilmente utilizzato in maniera eccessiva. Torniamo invece a volare alto sulla orata alla brace con puntarella e arancia. Carne cotta alla perfezione e un grandissimo gusto nel fondo. Gran finale la torta di mele e cioccolato con salsa al rabarbaro e olio di rose... Un applauso allo chef e alla sala.

Polite but nothing extraordinary Location... Nothing special. Just the idea of ​​having movie posters that talk about prisons is beautiful. A positive note is the paper placemat, each different with images of famous prisons. I didn't pay, but I think it's also expensive. So it's not the place for me. I am editing the review because I share your thoughts. It would have been better to talk about it in person but I didn't want to create discomfort or controversy in whoever brought me to you. at this point I give 4 stars because even the quality of the food did not depend on you, but rather on what was ordered by whoever invited me.

21/03/2025: A starred restaurant inside a prison: a unique project of its kind, created to offer prisoners the opportunity to take a professional training course for easier reintegration into society. In addition to the commendable purpose, you will find a very interesting culinary proposal that includes both traditional Milanese dishes and very successful original and creative combinations. Moving on to some practical aspects: the restaurant is located inside the Bollate prison. Upon your arrival, you will find a large car park just outside the building. You will then be escorted inside the prison and the restaurant, in a welcoming and modern environment. We had a great time. Congratulations for the project, the idea and the excellent dishes prepared. I will definitely be back.

22/03/2025: One of the most picturesque locations on the first basin of Lake Como. It is also a grocery store so quality food, the atmosphere is informal and easy, ideal for lunch or aperitif. Directly overlooking the lake it offers a spectacular view. I love it

17/04/2025: Gisuppe (Joe) was tremendous! All the wait staff were terrific and the pasta and fish were excellent! This is a family owned local restaurant- not far from the Last Supper.

15/04/2025: Good place to eat. Lunch for 3p at €81 (2 appetizers + 3 dishes). The only mishap was that they had charged us for an extra dish, be careful with the bill, otherwise a good place.

16/03/2025: Even though we arrived half an hour late on Saturday evening (notifying us), they treated us and our dog very well. They didn't make it bother us in the slightest. Very much appreciated the service. 2 of us got 3 pizzas. One biker, one tasty and one raw. Too good! Importantly, the toilets are very clean even though the place was full.

01/03/2025: It took us a while to figure out where to eat “like a local”. Stopped in a couple of places that seemed sketchy and then stumbled upon this gem of a place. Totally packed (reservations a must) but Marina took pity of us and gave us a table. Delicious calamari fritti and seafood salad. Even the French fries were yummy! Classic carbonara pasta and veal cutlet (husband’s). Pizzas are thin crust; airy and crunchy like a cracker; not Neapolitan (which is more doughy and not our favorite). Good base sauce and excellent cottura. We had to come next day. Too delicious! Did I mention that you should make a reservation? We noticed they sent people away with no reservation (lucky us).
