20/11/2025: Went for lunch. Stumbled upon it by chance. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming, family atmosphere, with just a few tables and plenty of vintage photos of family and friends. The ingredients are excellent, like the fresh porcini mushroom salad and Colonnata lardo as an appetizer. The first courses were also excellent, but a special mention goes to the risotto with Gorgonzola and caramelized onions in Marsala. The service was good, and the value was excellent.

20/10/2025: Aimo and Nadia's bistro is an evening of serenity: flavors meet the intoxicating aromas of appetizing dishes and select wines in an experience complemented by an intimate and informal Parisian atmosphere. The house's signature is recognizable in the refined yet traditional dishes. Thanks to Sabrina and her entire staff, especially Ilaria, we were able to celebrate an intimate family event on one of those evenings that are heartwarming.
Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back!
18/10/2025: Egregiously under-rated; this will surprise you, hugely welcome break from pasta, pizza, overloaded red meat. If you'd like to see real value Italian flair and innovation, this is the place. Period. Exceptional. Like happens very rarely.

08/11/2025: We went for dinner this evening while walking by the lake with our puppy, and from the moment we walked in, they were super sweet with our dog and with us, very polite and super kind, attentive to everything. The food is good, the prices are very fair, but it has to be said, when a place makes you feel good, you deserve to be rewarded. It's absolutely worth it, a family-run restaurant with a lot of choices. They sell craft beer, homemade pasta, and many other things. I absolutely recommend it ❤️

The starters were delicious, the lasagna as a first course was exciting, and the Florentine steak was a dream, followed by crispy and exhilarating canticcini with espresso! A wonderful experience, the host is incredibly welcoming... the location is the most beautiful in Chiavenna, elegant, refined... silver cutlery, clean and very welcoming... a menu that satisfies the most discerning palates, including truffle tasters... the photos speak for themselves.
21/10/2025: Excellent restaurant, highly recommended. Impeccable service, kind and friendly staff. Excellent food: Bresaola carpaccio, octopus in cream sauce, homemade pizzoccheri, and tagliolini with clams.

02/12/2025: We were there on Sunday for my mother-in-law's birthday and we had a great time. The set menu was excellent. The service was very friendly and helpful. We ate and drank very well. 17/10/2025: It's definitely not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but since I don't frequent Michelin-starred restaurants, I prefer restaurants like Cantoni.
The meat is excellent.
12/10/2025: Today we celebrated a baptism at I Cantoni restaurant and had a truly wonderful time! The food was excellent, high-quality, and generously portioned. The excellent wine paired perfectly with all the courses. Special thanks to Francesco, the owner, who was incredibly friendly and always available, and to all the staff for their kindness and attentiveness. Impeccable service. Highly recommended! 👏🍷🍝
