11/06/2025: Now it has a different name but the place is particular and recognizable. Not particularly cheap but excellent service and refined atmosphere.

08/06/2025: I’m extremely disappointed, I had such high hopes. But was startled to find the staff so rude. I’ll start by explaining that I have a medical condition which gives me great anxiety and they embarrassed me in front of the whole restaurant! I had to leave due to my Crohn’s disease and my friend and I got up to leave before we had even been acknowledged or served, thus no harm done, and yet when we were walking out a staff member rudely called out to us and said “excuse me, where are you going” and when i said to meet a friend elsewhere she hatefully said “oh to find another restaurant, get your pizza, spaghetti,” and rolled her eyes! I was mortified. Not only are they clearly hateful to tourists (I’m from Firenze and speak both Italian and English) but also there was no need to project their issues onto me or my friend. She had no idea what i was going through. Keep your snails and attitude to yourself.

08/06/2025: Really disappointed with our visit to Antica tonight. We had high expectations due to other reviews, but the service and food were far below average or anything we’ve had on lake como during our visit. 1. The service was very poor, I finished my glass of wine and was never asked if I wanted another. I tried to get the two waitresses attention but it was so difficult and I just got tired of trying. They also never asked if we wanted dessert or if we enjoyed our meals. 2. The food was overpriced and lacked flavor. I had the truffle gnocchi and there were barely any truffles I could not even taste it. My husband ordered the eggplant parmesan which was 2 slices of eggplant in a bowl of tomato sauce sprinkled with cheese, for 27 euros. I would not recommend this restaurant, I come to the como area every year and will never return. There are other restaurants on the lake with better food quality. Don’t waste your money.

02/07/2025: The menu offers a wide range of traditional dishes, from the classic Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken to very tasty vegetarian options such as Palak Paneer and Chana Masala. Clean and tidy restaurant, very friendly staff

05/06/2025: Restaurant with elegant table setting and interiors, and perhaps overly formal service. The cold cuts appetizer was of decent quality, the casoncelli on the other hand had no flavor, they even turned out to be a little bland, the fillet of meat seemed to be of good quality and with a nice plating. Good wine list. Prehistoric times between one course and the next, two and a half hours for three courses and with about 50 minutes of waiting between the first and second courses. High prices, which would have barely been adequate even if there had been perfect service and cuisine.

18/05/2025: Excellent food medium portions to share as the restaurant style. “Poor” ingredients cooked in a sublime way. Medium high prices for the quantity. Wine by the glass prices in my opinion excessive.

10/06/2025: A BEAUTIFUL experience! I gave this gift to my boyfriend for his birthday and it couldn't have gone better! The Tram is super punctual, the staff is very kind, the dishes are served at the right times, the interior environment is very welcoming and characteristic, the tour of Milan in the meantime very pleasant! Thanks for everything, I will definitely recommend!

07/06/2025: Beautiful trip on the 20s tram, departure at 8.30 pm, meat menu, all very good (a first course, a second course, dessert, coffee and an entree with sparkling wine), catering-type service but all very well-kept, all hot as if it were freshly cooked. Our waitress was very good and friendly, the journey lasted about 2 hours and touched the most beautiful points of the city. €90 per person, all in all, it seemed a reasonable price for the experience. A sore point was the obsolete and old booking site, still in HTML, online payment by time, which often does not respect the pre-established times of 20 minutes, so you have to redo everything. There is no regulation and if you try to book for a specific date, you have to connect until the desired day is enabled, hoping to be able to book. Rating for SITE 2 ATM should do better with a website and regulations that are up to par, there would definitely be no empty seats.

23/05/2025: For a quick lunch (damn work break) they recommended this place to me.... Well.... my friend.... How much I loved you for this advice. Tagliatelle with ragù good and well cooked (maybe just a little dry), but the prince was him: the fillet with ancient mustard. In its "stupid simplicity" of an unelaborated dish, it gave me a thrill and I said "wow how good" (in truth I said "f...o what a fig...a"!!🤣). Enough...stop... Come and try.. Girls in the dining room kind and fast. Clean environment... Damn my job!!!!

02/07/2025: We went yesterday for dinner for the first time. We had a sublime culinary experience. Fish-based dinner served with excellent professionalism by the two waiters. Fair price for the quality and freshness of the raw materials. We will definitely be back.

25/06/2025: A slightly retro style place with a large central tank full of lobsters on display. The service was just sufficient, given the unavailability of the chosen dish we were not offered any alternative, the staff simply collected the requests, only one type of wine by the glass is really little and when you bring the bottle, already opened, the preliminary tasting was missing (we did not know how long the bottle had been open) The quality of the food was good and the presentation was good Frankly I do not know if I will return

20/06/2025: We have been going there for many years and we will continue to return. Excellent quality of meat and fish and imagination in offering them, excellent wine list, craft beers, masterful pizzas and super homemade desserts. Okkey prices

17/06/2025: My partner and I (I'm vegetarian and she's vegan) discovered this incredible place... finally a pizza made properly!!! tasty, light and really digestible... Furthermore, the environment is really welcoming, clean and tidy and the staff is kind and helpful as you rarely find. It has already become our favorite place!

21/06/2025: Sicily on the plate revisited. All the aromas and flavors in the name of tradition, but the sight starting from the plate makes you go somewhere else. Everything but really everything very good, beautiful place and excellent service. It's like dining at a starred restaurant for the care that is put into the plate and also in the service. The chef is also the guys very empathetic. It was not our first time and we will return.

02/06/2025: Perfection for the place, for the food, for the service and allow me for the location. Dinner with my best friend in a really beautiful setting. The young lady who served us was very competent and above all patient because my friend and I are two pains in the ass. The price was perhaps even too low compared to the raw materials that were served to us. The house wine was excellent. 100% recommended

17/06/2025: Excellent pizza, among the best ever tried. Wide choice of proposals, made with high quality ingredients. Small but welcoming environment, in summer it has outdoor seating. Courteous and always attentive staff. Excellent desserts. Recommended!
