25/10/2025: We came for lunch with our 3-year-old daughter. The person in charge of the dining room didn't offer us anything for our daughter (a small plate or spoon). She didn't seem happy to have us as customers. The dishes were good and nicely presented. After our dishes, she cleared away without offering us coffee or dessert. 7 euros for cutlery is very expensive, especially with unfriendly service. I do not recommend.

19/10/2025: A delightful discovery! The welcoming, family atmosphere makes you feel truly at home. I started with a truly delicious vegetable caponata, fresh and perfectly flavorful. Followed by a simply phenomenal purple cabbage and cheese risotto: creamy, balanced, and surprisingly flavorful. Friendly service, perfect timing, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to return. Compliments to all the staff

19/10/2025: Excellent location, spacious and well-maintained, with large windows overlooking the valley. Classic local menu with appetizers featuring excellent cured meats and cheeses, and ample first and second courses to choose from. The house wine, both white and red, is more than decent. Recommended. Be aware of the steep climb to reach it (authorization to drive up is available for those with particular difficulties).

03/12/2025: I've been coming to Pomo d'Oro for years and have always had a great time. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, the menu offers a wide selection, including pizza, and everything is delicious. I highly recommend it.

Ho mangiato una squisita tartare di fassona e altre sfizioserie ma, per chi vuole veramente peccare, la vera chicca è il babà salato.

01/12/2025: It's always a shame to speak negatively about a restaurant, but unfortunately, it's unavoidable. I only ordered a first course, and 14 rigatoni arrived, with a little cream sauce. I had opted for a slice of bread with a little oil. I wish I'd never done that!!! The oil wasn't bad....more so!!! It should be checked. The restaurant certainly doesn't make the oil, but by putting it on the table, they should know how "crappy" it is. So... be careful!!

13/11/2025: A charming place with a beautiful view, surrounded by nature. So far, I've used a voucher for an 80-minute massage, but I plan to return for dinner at the restaurant, perhaps with a weekend stay. Kudos to Rosy for the massage, truly relaxing!

10/11/2025: Always a pleasure to come back to, but there are some key points to review... in the women's bathroom, only one hairdryer worked and there were 4 of us inside to get settled, and then when you enter the men's changing room, the girls should knock before letting new customers in to explain the function of the locker, etc., to avoid embarrassing situations.

15/11/2025: Everything was good, and the owners' son was very friendly. The scenery was beautiful. The only negative, and perhaps slightly absurd, flaw was the parking fee, but that's obviously not their fault.

04/12/2025: On Saturday evening, we dined at the farmhouse in the company of the agriturismo's guests and the legendary Max, in a convivial and welcoming family atmosphere typical of times gone by. It felt like we were back in the days of the "tree of wooden clogs"... A pleasant evening in the company of unique and genuine guests, far removed from today's technological world, yet filled with simple and essential moments. Kudos to Max for his values ​​and his great work. The dinner was delicious. Highly recommended.

02/12/2025: We visited on Saturday, November 29th for lunch, and upon arrival, I wasn't entirely convinced. However, I toured the farm with two highly experienced guides (Gemma and Seba). We had a delicious lunch in the company of other guests, and it was a pleasant afternoon for both us adults and my son (who was so happy he didn't want to leave). It might be the setting or the company, but I felt Cascina Gervasoni wasn't a restaurant or inn, but a sort of second home immersed in tranquility. We'll definitely be back for lunch and overnight stays. It would have been wonderful if Max had joined us for lunch, but between cooking and managing the farm, it was practically impossible. Tip: leave your cars upstairs in the square and walk downstairs. Besides enjoying the silence, you might encounter squirrels or other animals. Thanks for a wonderful day.

06/12/2025: After several attempts to dine here, I finally got to enjoy the incredible cuisine of this legendary restaurant. A local had always recommended it to me as "the place to eat authentic Valentine's pizzoccheri," and she was right.

The meat is always well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, the vegetables are crunchy, and the sauces are spectacular. Generous portions, fair prices, and service that makes you feel special every time. The owner? Extremely kind and super professional: you can tell he's passionate about what he does, and it really makes a difference. Recommended to anyone who wants to eat a properly made kebab. 😍 The best in the area, hands down! Once you've tried it... there's no going back.
