15/09/2025: We were in room 268, which faces the street. We travel a lot, and it was the WORST room we've ever been in. The soundproofing is nonexistent!!! There's noise all night long, both from the street (with people talking, cars, and motorcycles) and from the hotel hallway itself, where other guests walk by. You can hear everything. You can't sleep all night! It was horrible! The furniture (chair, table, wardrobe) in the room is basic, unsuitable for a hotel; the bed is a hard board (it's huge, though) and the shower is excessively small, impossible for a large person to use. I imagine the rooms facing that street have the same noise problem, so if you can avoid it, don't choose those rooms; choose ones overlooking the interior garden. I read reviews from other guests of this same hotel, and it seems as if we've stayed in different hotels, which makes me even more outraged that they gave us that room. Avoid room 268. I will definitely NEVER return to this hotel.

17/08/2025: For years, this has been the best ice cream shop in the Varese province, in our opinion. 100% artisanal ice cream, always new and delicious flavors, and unusual pairings. But be prepared for a colorful experience with the manager, the heart and soul of the place, who is also known for his friendly, unpretentious approach. Remember, book ahead by phone! 08/09/2025: A beautiful, spacious establishment with a clean, tidy atmosphere. I stopped by without a reservation and was seated immediately. The menu is extensive and beautifully presented, with everything from fish and meat to pizza. The wine list is well-stocked, and the prices are fair for what you order. It's a pleasure to come and eat here.

19/08/2025: A family with two children stood outside looking at the menu and decided to go in. The restaurant was empty, with two tables already served. The waiter or owner rudely told us, looking at the children, that it was full. We tried to ask him where to go, but there was no way. The other diners looked at us strangely, as if they didn't understand anything... Very poor service.

23/08/2025: Delightful. Decidedly out of the way of the city, but very unique and away from the chaos. The parking lot is on a small dirt road and inevitably cramped: from there to the hotel there are a few dozen meters, so it's best to avoid heavy suitcases. The building, on the other hand, is a gem, perfectly maintained. The room is spacious, furnished with simplicity and taste. The bathroom, or rather the fixtures, are more complicated: 'thin' to say the least. The restaurant overlooking the valley is tempting: personally, I was unlucky with the limited availability of dishes and desserts. I'm relaxed, with a full breakfast.

30/08/2025: We booked a dinner for five. The restaurant is welcoming, the menu lists allergens, the dishes are excellent, and the service is impeccable. The home-cooked food reminded me of Sundays spent with my family, with polenta and rabbit prepared by my mother.
