21/04/2025: A memorable lunch: now the third time at “al fresco” and each time we are happier than the last. Raw or cooked fish, always very fresh and tasty. Saffron risotto and raw shrimp excellent, as well as the orecchiette with seafood… finger-licking good! Grazia very kind and with an attentive and thoughtful eye for the customer! See you next time!

12/04/2025: beautiful place, very good starter and first course. while the mixed fried fish was terrible. a greasy tempura (but why?) that remained on our stomachs.

01/04/2025: Ristorante top , cibo top, personale top. Il salone e' grande e adattissimo a cene numerose e alla presenza dei bambini. Non esitate ad andarci, cucinano benissimo, la pasta e' fatta in casa, provate I Tarozz sono infinitamente buoni. Personale sempre gentilissimo e se c'e' qualcosa che non va con dei piatti o con il conto, non esitano un attimo a correggere il tiro e farvi il dovuto sconto. Per me solo questo dice tutto di un posto. Quando e' gestito da persone capaci e soprattutto oneste, che non si approfittano del cliente ma tutt'altro e lo motivano a tornare! Complimenti, continuate cosi.

22/03/2025: Not much, given the area perhaps their inhabitants have no demands on the quality of the food but to be honest they are poor on many things. Not recommended but in an emergency it's fine. High prices for what you have and offer.

09/03/2025: I had dinner one evening with a friend and I had a very good time. Incredible house starter, stewed pike and char as well, all washed down with a truly excellent Chiaretto of their own production. Super honest prices and very kind and approachable staff... super recommended!

22/04/2025: Ambiente elegante con boiserie alle pareti. Vista spettacolare sul lago di Varese. Amosfera romantica con solo l'illuminazione delle candele dei tavoli. Le varie portate erano ben presentate e ottime. Personale molto gentile.

04/04/2025: Spacious and tidy place with convenient parking (alas often full). Not very far from the city center. Friendly and welcoming service. Average prices but what makes the difference is the truly abundant quantity of the dishes, perhaps even too much. It offers cuisine, especially fish-based, simple but with well-executed dishes and decent raw materials. The choice of wines is also quite wide.

29/03/2025: Great food - all fresh and tasty. Beef on the rock could be eaten in like 20-25 min without getting cold. Fritto misto - simply delicios, and pasta with seafood - amazing!

14/04/2025: Great restaurant! Traditional Milanese and (unexpected) Roman food, with some refined dishes. Excellent service and honest bill for the quality of the food. For a couple I recommend being placed on the veranda, which is very beautiful.

29/12/2024: Despite the place being completely empty on a Saturday night, we decided to stop for dinner, and I’m glad we did. The waiter was extremely attentive, the food and wine the best we had in the town. We had the risotto of the day, lardo as a starter, everything was delicious. The place is regarded by the locals as ‘refined’, and wonder if that’s not helping it draw a crowd? Prices were no higher than in other restaurants we tried in the town, and was a shame to see it so empty. If you are in Roncola, highly recommend to try it!

26/04/2025: Unfortunately we didn’t get the name of our waiter (with the fork bracelet!) today, but he was spectacular! Half waiter, half actor - we loved it. So we enjoyed sitting directly by the canal, watching the people stroll by while we had delicious food (starter, secondi & dolci). Absolutely recommended.

27/04/2025: Nice location, too bad that at 6pm, they told us there was no more food. I suppose that a place should take into account the amount of people ALWAYS, because you can't offer people alcohol without eating, I'm sorry because it's a nice place and the first time I came they told us that we had to come 'earlier', since when is there nothing really for aperitif time? Meh.

26/04/2025: Terrible experience, nice place but completely unprepared to welcome guests. For 4 piadinas we waited almost two hours. Unprepared (and rude) staff. The place is worth it but they definitely need to change their tune, hire competent staff and fix the Kitchen. I don't recommend, I recommend the agritourisms along the cycle path instead.
