Excellent value for money. Simple, traditional trattoria serving typical local cuisine. Everything is homemade and delicious. The cured meats, frogs, pork, and desserts are excellent. If you're in the area, you can't miss this place.

Authentic and truly tasty food. It's a historic restaurant tucked away in the middle of nowhere, but it's worth a visit regardless. We combined a visit to the nearby Chignolo Po Castle with lunch here. Highly recommended.

We ate well at average prices (for appetizers and first courses) or low prices (for water, wine, dessert, coffee, and liqueurs). The staff was courteous, and the atmosphere was informal.

Destination: Bosco Chignolo Po', a family welcome, you feel at HOME. We chose the main courses for lunch: lamb shank with artichokes and roast pork with quince, they melted in the mouth. If I have to "cheat" I have to do it well I tell myself and we go to choose the desserts: a fresh millefeuille with cream and tiramisu with coffee cream. We finish with an excellent coffee and a limoncello. What can I say, better than this,,, Monica's kindness,,,. You will understand it when you go there,,,. The menu, you will not know what to choose, so many delicacies,,,, and prices not excessive. Reservations recommended on the weekend, 😉

A basic but welcoming place
The food was delicious. I ate very well, but if I had to give it a 10, I'd give it to the rabbit with chestnuts. The lady in the kitchen makes you feel at home. The desserts are a little less so, but that's all I can say. Il Bosco Trattoria. Stop by without hesitation.
