12/03/2026: This sandwich bar on the Old Port promenade is a pleasant place with excellent sandwiches, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices!

07/03/2026: Right on the port and frequented by locals even out of season. The welcome was adequate. However, the prices were completely exorbitant: 1 decaf coffee, 1 hot chocolate, 2 croissants, and marmalade for 10 euros...either they've adopted the prices of their Monegasque neighbors or they're charging double for locals and tourists (I saw a note about FR on my bill)...a shame.

06/04/2026: Accompanied by regulars, on a street packed with cars, where maneuvering was sometimes necessary, the owner greeted us from his terrace with a broad smile. A good approach, a point in his favor. Tip: reserve your table and arrive around 10 a.m. Even then, on Easter Monday, finding a parking spot was a miracle. The charcoal-grilled meat was perfectly cooked; the pork chops were apparently marinated before cooking, which would explain their tenderness and flavor. Well done. The ravioli were divine. The paninis, shaped like fries, were light and not greasy. The homemade desserts were so good that if your companions offered you a taste of something other than your own, you might end up ordering a second one. A third would be sheer gluttony! 😇 A nice wine list, bottles, carafes, and chilled sparkling and still water were available on the table. As our meal ended, smoke filled the terrace. Due to a second fire, installed to increase capacity, the restaurant was full. We had a great time there.

31/03/2026: The location is fabulous. They're currently doing roadworks on the road to Bussana Vecchia, so you have to take a detour, but it's worth it just to eat here! The quality of the meat was excellent, and the lasagna they had that day was also very good (it's not on the menu). They have a good wine list, and the service is very good; they were very friendly!

28/03/2026: We had dinner here last week and were truly satisfied. We ate excellent seafood, generous portions, and the price was reasonable. The place is quiet, very charming, and spotlessly clean, with parking right on the street. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and even accommodating our food allergies. Highly recommended, and when we're in the area again, we'll be back for a quiet dinner.

23/03/2026: Very welcoming atmosphere, very attentive staff, even disinfecting the tables before seating the customer, excellent raw materials, excellent tuna crudités, excellent pizzas, homemade desserts to try, they are recommended, honest price not excessive, perhaps from the outside it does not reflect the place inside, the only flaw is a little lack of attention in checking the customer to see if they have a full glass, I give full points as the food is really good and you can taste it, and it is one of the few restaurants worth visiting

12/04/2026: Delicious Neapolitan pizza. Excellent value. Reservations are recommended on weekends. The other dishes are also delicious.

19/04/2026: Lovely dinner with excellent food—in our case, for example, the spaghetti with clams was delicious—and the staff were incredibly kind. They moved us from one table to another after we'd already sat down, and even when I mentioned it was my birthday, they took care to bring a dessert with a candle to the table... 24/02/2026: Sanremo's first night, and not even a television. Stuffed ourselves with bread at the table. Mistaken bill for the meat, charged exactly double the amount. It goes without saying that I didn't find the experience satisfactory.

We ate very well: delicious, authentic dishes. But what made this evening truly unique was the warm welcome and generosity of the owner. Incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, he greatly contributed to making this moment even more special. He even offered us the limoncello and the girls' drinks, a gesture that deeply touched us. Thank you for this wonderful evening, full of kindness and good cheer. We will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

14/03/2026: Excellent food. The bread they make with walnuts and honey, along with local olive oil, is out of this world. A timeless place. Luca, the host, is extremely helpful and makes the experience very convivial. We'll be back to try the fish; the meat was truly exceptional. Soon, with the opening of the terrace, it will become truly spectacular. We'll be back.

I tasted an incredible gourmet pizza there: thin and crispy crust, authentic flavors, and perfectly cooked bresaola. A true delight for lovers of Italian cuisine, fine dining, and artisanal pizzas. The place is perfect for an aperitif, dinner, or after-dinner drinks in an elegant lounge bar, with cocktails and DJ sets in the heart of Bordighera. Great atmosphere, carefully curated music, and classy yet warm service. For a memorable culinary experience in Italy, Bugabuga is definitely the place I recommend.
