01/05/2026: A charming place with a fantastic welcome! Italian cuisine just as we've always dreamed of it! Home-style cooking with quality ingredients. Special mention for the lasagna (absolutely divine!), the homemade mozzarella, and the charcuterie. The tiramisu is exceptional, as is the lemon cake! A must-visit, and a huge thank you again to the owner and his wife for their hospitality.

26/04/2026: Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the atmosphere, and of course, the food. The dishes were delicious, prepared with top-quality ingredients, and the service was truly attentive from beginning to end. A big plus for the wines 🥰 The place is unique, warm, with an atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend.

11/03/2026: A wonderful discovery. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant, and each dish was explained with passion. The cuisine was fantastic, an explosion of flavors from the amuse-bouches through the main course and dessert, right down to the coffee and its accompaniments. Living in France, just an hour's drive away, I will return regularly just for your food.

The restaurant has an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere, and the staff are welcoming, attentive, and professional. The food is beautifully presented, prepared with quality ingredients, and full of authentic Mediterranean flavours. Everything feels carefully considered, from the service to the excellent selection of wines. A lovely place for a relaxed dinner or a special occasion, and definitely a restaurant I would be happy to visit again.

03/06/2026: Always a sure thing. THE place to go to fully enjoy the local delicacies. A modern and well-kept restaurant, run by young people ready to amaze with dishes worthy of a star. From tradition to innovation, from flavor to the passion of the two young chefs, Oscar and Alberto, which is passed down from bite to bite. Every detail, besides being tasteful, is made with love... and I think that's the key difference that makes this place a place to be. Highly recommended... ⭐️

01/07/2026: My go-to restaurant when I'm in town. I can wholeheartedly recommend it! 549 pizzas on the menu!!!! And the prices are ridiculously low. A large pizza costs between €8 and €13. And the taste… 🥰 made by the pizza master! Seriously, I'm there, you have to go. And there are beautiful, ancient olive trees in the parking lot. Simply amazing.

19/07/2026: The menu doesn't match the prices on the internet, so it's less expensive. Unfortunately, there's no shortage of pigeons roaming around the tables.

17/07/2026: Cappuccino in a porcelain cup and a delicious butter croissant. Fast service, but the cashier was unfriendly. It doesn't make me want to return. However, the place is beautiful and expensive, but worth it.

06/06/2026: Don't go there with a child. We received a terrible welcome; we were given a table in the sun with a two-year-old, even though there were tables in the shade available. The waitresses clearly didn't want to serve us.

01/06/2026: In Bordighera Alta, where the setting itself invites you to slow down, La Gritta Bordigotta offers simple, measured seafood cuisine, without unnecessary complications. The menu isn't overwhelming: just a few dishes, well-focused. And for me, that's already a plus. I prefer a short, thoughtful menu to endless ones that often lose the cuisine's identity. I started with the raw fillet of the catch of the day: clean, fresh ingredients, showcased without overshadowing them. A seemingly simple dish, because when working with raw fish, the quality of the fish must speak for itself. And here it does. For my second course, I chose the mupa fillet, prepared with the same logic: linear cuisine, respect for the product, and clear flavors. There's no pursuit of special effect, but rather an attention to the ingredients that is visible and, above all, tasted in the quality of the dish. As a gourmet, I also treated myself to dessert: dark chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream. A delicious, intense, yet balanced finish. A pleasant, yet not overpowering finish. For the pairing, I chose a Greco di Tufo DOCG – Cantine di Marzo dal 1647. A well-structured white wine from Campania, fresh and savory, with a pleasant mineral and citrus note. Cantine di Marzo recommends that this Greco be aged on its lees for at least seven months, which contributes to its complexity and body. With the raw fish and mupa, it proved to be a perfect pairing: upright enough to cleanse the palate, yet with enough substance to accompany the main course as well. Overall, a very pleasant experience: a few dishes, good ingredients, simple yet thoughtful cuisine. One of those tables where you don't feel like the fish is over-interpreted, but rather respected. And for me, when it comes to seafood, that's an important quality.

27/06/2026: Very good quality products at a reasonable price (considering the location and the city). It's located on the main street, 200 meters from the beach. There's a cover charge, but it's small. The pizza crust, while a bit thick for my taste, was delicious, as were the ingredients: super fresh.

25/06/2026: Wonderful Caprese and Grilled vegetables. Nice Calamari frito. Great sevice.

18/07/2026: A family-run pizzeria with friendly people and smiling faces. We even made friends there. The pizzas are delicious.
