03/01/2026: We had an unforgettable evening. The setting is truly enchanting. The wine selection is excellent. Each dish was beautifully presented, and I personally recommend the risotto. The choice of main courses is also overwhelming; each one is worth trying! The desserts are delicious. The staff is kind and professional. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend it.

01/01/2026: First of all, Happy New Year. When you enter certain places, expectations are high, sometimes due to the "reviews." I'll get to the point: the location and restaurant are beautiful, the welcome and the professional table setting are excellent, and so far so good. Let's talk about the menu shown in the photo, at €95 excluding wine and drinks. It's the last dinner of 2025 that you want to enjoy with your partner. Upon reading, the menu, destined to remind us of a memorable evening, is certainly quite harmonious, with unusual pairings that immediately set my taste buds on edge. We chose a very popular white wine from Vulture, and so far so good. To begin, a greeting from the kitchen: "leek and whitebait tart," which in my opinion was a little unbalanced, followed by an excellent tartare with a good seasoning. I appreciated the crunch of the toasted hazelnuts, which, given the good execution, gives us hope for a prelude of flavors. Here begins the flat ECG, without a jolt to listen to with our palates. You'd understand the disappointment—mine, my companion's, and some of the other diners at the nearby table—if you'd tried it yourself. The scallop and Jerusalem artichoke were flat in flavor, and the scallop was actually thinly sliced. The pancetta looked good, but didn't taste good. It lacked structure; a shame, the idea was good, the execution was terrible. The cuttlefish with minted beans tasted good, but it was a shame the dish was cold, and the sauce was consequently too cold. The squid was sparse; I only had one piece with 10 beans. First course, very engaging to read, but little in substance "Fregola with turnip tops (only the chlorophyll), clams, scrambled oysters and Roman conciato. A very disappointing macrobiotic preparation, the strong, concentrated flavour of the turnip tops cancelled everything out. Here too, the idea was good, but the execution was terrible and flat. Even the cod, now the prince of the seas, was downgraded and hidden under an indistinguishable blanket of combinations" mashed potatoes and cream of cauliflower "bad execution (in my opinion, obviously). Last but not least, the phantom tasting of cotechino and auspicious lentils. Nothing to do with tradition, not to mention the risk of the hollandaise sauce which negatively distorted the simplicity of the cotechino's flavour. Well, I won't go any further. Sometimes we should follow proverbs, for example "He who wants too much, ends up with nothing" and I conclude by saying that cooking is the taste and art of the Soul. Experimenting is fine, but tasting is essential. Happy New Year!

31/10/2025: This was my second visit. The seafood pasta was excellent, but the portion wasn't quite large enough. The Prosecco was excellent. I come to Italy often and I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was superb and the staff attentive.

12/10/2025: Our second stop was at L'Oste e la Strega. What can I say? An oasis of peace and superb food. There really are no weak points in a beloved place where hospitality and flavor are at the heart of everything. Being vegan, we booked in advance and were offered a special 10-course menu, which was truly fantastic and plentiful! I'll end by thanking all the staff for their kindness! See you again as soon as possible!

23/09/2025: A peaceful haven in the Ligurian hinterland, with excellent dishes that blend Ligurian tradition and Neapolitan cuisine, including vegetarian options! 😊 Simple and authentic atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Stunning mountain views from the terrace! We recommend a walk to the sanctuary after lunch to enjoy a beautiful view of the village and surrounding olive groves.

19/01/2026: In Oneglia, part of Imperia, where you can glimpse the Agnesi sign and where memories of the Novaros and Berios take you back 50 years, you'll find a warmly welcoming restaurant. Excellent amuse-bouche, a Rossetti frittatina that takes you back to true goodness; a high-quality wine list, with a few overpriced Barbarescos, but the Ormeasco Braje di Lupi we tasted was truly satisfying. If you want to feel good, stop here.

29/01/2026: What more can I say that hasn't already been said in other reviews? A wonderful discovery with its homemade cuisine, tasting of their own olive oil 👌🏼, superb setting, and incredibly kind waiter. A must-try if you're ever in Apricale!

17/01/2026: Excellent restaurant with charming stone interiors, having been created inside an old olive oil mill, retaining some of the original equipment as furnishings. The staff is very welcoming and eager to accommodate guests' requests. The menu offers typical Ligurian dishes, which, though limited, are very well prepared and have a nostalgic, home-style flavor. Everything is further enhanced by a good glass of local wine (I tasted an excellent bottle of Pigato). Don't miss the fish soup accompanied by Triora bread. Excellent value. Definitely recommended.

28/10/2025: A real treat for both the eyes and the stomach 😋😋 The fritto misto is as good as ever, and the pistachio tiramisu is a true delight... The owners are as charming as ever. It's an address we won't soon forget, especially when they remember you (10 years ago!) from the last time we walked through their doors...

Davide is always extremely kind and knowledgeable, and always knows how to recommend an excellent wine pairing to accompany his dishes. A top experience! Highly recommended!

17/02/2026: An exceptional place! Like an art gallery with a children's play area, it's a unique and beautifully decorated spot. The food is delicious, worthy of a gourmet restaurant! We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who speaks excellent French. One of the best places in Diano Marina.

17/01/2026: We had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant almost five years ago, having discovered it purely by chance on vacation. Unfortunately, living miles away, we weren't able to return, but I still remember the taste of the dishes, especially the raw seafood. A restaurant that makes a difference and, above all, leaves a lasting impression! From the cleanliness to the quality, from the service to the open kitchen, from the location just steps from the sea...wonderful.

19/01/2026: Very good and filling sandwiches, a wide selection of sandwiches, especially affordable. Perfect for school lunch breaks. Lello is very friendly, and Piccioni is very nice.

18/01/2026: A cozy, slightly hidden little gem of a restaurant with absolutely delicious food. We tried two different pasta dishes, both full of flavor and clearly made with care. For dessert we shared one dish, which was the perfect ending to the meal 🥰 The staff was very nice and accommodating - we were welcomed from the moment we walked in the door, and felt taken care of until we left the restaurant. Very good prices!! This is definitely a place that is highly recommended, and we will definitely be back ☺️

30/12/2025: I ordered spaghetti with clams and it wasn't good at all; the only flavor I could taste was garlic, and even when I asked the owner to change it, he didn't seem to want to listen, even after he saw that I left my plate full.
