02/10/2025: We spent 3 days in San Remo and went to the Porta Verde twice. We tasted 4 different dishes and 3 different desserts. Everything was delicious, refined, and tastefully prepared. 12/10/2025: Our second stop was at L'Oste e la Strega. What can I say? An oasis of peace and superb food. There really are no weak points in a beloved place where hospitality and flavor are at the heart of everything. Being vegan, we booked in advance and were offered a special 10-course menu, which was truly fantastic and plentiful! I'll end by thanking all the staff for their kindness! See you again as soon as possible!

23/09/2025: A peaceful haven in the Ligurian hinterland, with excellent dishes that blend Ligurian tradition and Neapolitan cuisine, including vegetarian options! 😊 Simple and authentic atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Stunning mountain views from the terrace! We recommend a walk to the sanctuary after lunch to enjoy a beautiful view of the village and surrounding olive groves.

02/11/2025: We come to Diano Marina every year. The drinks and food are outstanding, and the service is very personal and excellent. Fine dining at reasonable prices.

02/11/2025: The place is beautiful, with background music, a lovely atmosphere, and a decor featuring paintings by the owner, Davide, who is friendly and very welcoming. The cuisine is excellent, creative and tasty, so much so that we dined there two evenings a la rifila out of three days spent in Diano Marina. The outdoor garden is lovely for dining under the stars.

21/09/2025: In a truly charming village, packed with restaurants, this pizzeria is definitely worth a stop. The location is excellent, and the whole-wheat pizza is even more delicious. The staff is friendly and always available. I would love to go back!

29/07/2025: A very pleasant little restaurant with a magnificent view. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member. The Italian specialties we ate will remain unforgettable. A romantic meal to repeat.

28/07/2025: We came from Sanremo specifically, intrigued by the reviews and our passion for Poggio, but we were disappointed. The lady who takes the orders, besides repeatedly reiterating that the chef was alone in the kitchen, asked us annoyedly if we could order at least two people the same thing. So we agreed to her, and she suggested we share appetizers for two. The fact is, at the end of the day, she charged us 72 euros for four appetizers. The food was excellent, nothing to complain about, but the kitchen was completely disorganized. The carafe wine was terrible at 12 euros for half a liter, so we had to order a bottle. In short, for a modest restaurant, the service was modest, the food good, and the prices were unreasonable. It's a shame, we would have happily been regulars, like we always have been going to Montecalvo. WE STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

06/10/2025: The menu was simply excellent, and we'd never eaten like this before. There was no menu at this restaurant!!! because everyone ate the same meal, but we counted 16 courses, skipping the degustiva at the end. Here, one local delicacy after another was placed on our table. Bottles of wine (red and white), bread, and water were available at the table. The food was served by diligent and consistently friendly and helpful waiters. The noise level was occasionally a bit disturbing, given the approximately 80-90 people in the room. Many people ate the same meal, but I still didn't feel like I was being mass-produced, which I attribute to the waiters; it was simply a fantastic experience. The entire meal, including wine, cost €36 and lasted 3.5 hours.

03/08/2025: An old-fashioned restaurant in this Arroscia Valley village where I had lunch on this first Sunday in August. Home-style cooking, good ingredients, and authentic flavors. Various appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and two desserts. Wine is already on the table when you arrive. Table service could be improved. Good value.

09/10/2025: A very beautiful place, with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent, high-quality cuisine. I recommend the ravioli au tuccu (borage ravioli with veal ragù and porcini mushrooms)...truly delicious. My compliments to the chef. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive.

06/10/2025: Too expensive for the quality. The gnocchi (with creamed zucchini, mussels, and calamari) were bland and undercooked. €15 for a mushroom appetizer (price not listed on the menu) was disproportionate to the quantity and quality of the dish.

28/10/2025: A real treat for both the eyes and the stomach 😋😋 The fritto misto is as good as ever, and the pistachio tiramisu is a true delight... The owners are as charming as ever. It's an address we won't soon forget, especially when they remember you (10 years ago!) from the last time we walked through their doors...

20/10/2025: A pleasant evening at this lovely restaurant in Sanremo's Casino district. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The bill was in line with the price. A welcome glass of prosecco was much appreciated, along with a couple of pieces of focaccia. Recommended if you're in the area.
