12/10/2025: Our second stop was at L'Oste e la Strega. What can I say? An oasis of peace and superb food. There really are no weak points in a beloved place where hospitality and flavor are at the heart of everything. Being vegan, we booked in advance and were offered a special 10-course menu, which was truly fantastic and plentiful! I'll end by thanking all the staff for their kindness! See you again as soon as possible!

23/09/2025: A peaceful haven in the Ligurian hinterland, with excellent dishes that blend Ligurian tradition and Neapolitan cuisine, including vegetarian options! 😊 Simple and authentic atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Stunning mountain views from the terrace! We recommend a walk to the sanctuary after lunch to enjoy a beautiful view of the village and surrounding olive groves.

14/08/2026: The pizza is delicious! One of the best in Sanremo. But! Italy has a paper shortage! This is the fourth restaurant that hasn't been able to provide guests with paper napkins... Is the napkin shortage just in Sanremo, or is it all over Italy? Next time, bring your own.

09/08/2026: Arriving after 2:30 pm, we were greeted with a smile despite the late hour and the fact that we were the only customers! The food is delicious and the sea view is magnificent 😍

04/08/2026: We went there several times during our holiday and enjoyed it immensely each time. The pizzas are crispy and delicious! The service was always friendly and professional. Even during the week, it's best to make a reservation.

03/08/2026: The pizza is very good and they're super fast. I recommend it. They also have outdoor seating. They're very courteous and friendly. Now that they've changed owners, it's a really good place; I wouldn't have set foot there before.

03/07/2026: A very beautiful and charming place, surrounded by greenery (I recommend mosquito repellent) and with a touch of class, the food and service were excellent except for a few small discrepancies with the menu that we weren't told when we ordered (from tartare to sashimi), and at the end of the meal they asked if they could offer us a digestif, which to our surprise we later found on the bill.

23/06/2026: Everything was fantastic, very tasty, the service was excellent, the owner personally drew and gave us our portraits, it was very nice, I want to come back to this place

16/08/2026: Alas, a waiter/waitress was rude to the entire dining room, drinks and dishes were brought out one at a time, and the meat was cooked incorrectly. The food was overall not bad, but the experience wasn't that great.

15/08/2026: One of the waiters was extremely rude, not helpful at all and in a disagreement about the food he shouted at us and would not admit his mistake Unacceptable behavior towards a customer with an expensive blanket

09/08/2026: The food was very tasty, I must say. However, the same dish was ordered for two people, and a plate with a double portion arrived. There was no explanation, and no second plate or cutlery was provided. This was somewhat misleading, and it only came to light after we asked about it. Otherwise, it was good.

17/07/2026: Hot summer little escape from busy bustling beach. Relaxant & fun local restaurant in small italian village, Great vibe, warm hearted human service & humor of owner. I laughted a lot. Neddless to say Excellent cuisine. Homemade Antipasti & perfectly cooked Vongole Spagetti! Happy place with no reason. Must visit again with friends & family😇🥰

31/05/2026: We went to this restaurant today, well; We'd already forgotten our reservation, so we waited... Then, regarding the food, my ravioli tasted like fish even though it was supposed to be Bolognese... Finally, there were three tables of French people... The father next to us politely asked the man behind us if they could be careful with their cigarettes because there were also children present... At that point, the smoking man became furious, threatening and insulting, as did his wife; they attacked and threatened everyone, even though our table wasn't involved in the initial incident... My brother and father tried to calm things down, but they were shouting so loudly that they made the children cry, but they didn't care, they continued with their threats (of settling scores and death!!!) "You don't know who we are, I'll break a bottle over your head," and the best part, directed at my brother, "There will be two orphans"... The threats and shouting lasted a good 15 minutes, but at no point did the The owner didn't intervene or even seem to care about what was happening... We ate the dessert we'd ordered before the altercation in record time because my nephew was traumatized and wanted to leave as quickly as possible, even though he'd planned to go swimming in the river after arriving... This couple even insulted their mother and mother-in-law, who had also tried to calm them down... So, we left the restaurant and didn't even walk around the area for fear of running into those people... Alcohol (and perhaps other substances) in no way excuses insults, death threats, shouting in a public place with children present, and the owner's failure to assist people in danger...

08/08/2026: We were greeted very kindly and cordially by the highly trained staff, and the wait was practically non-existent. We had some pretty good pizzas, and I even caught a glimpse of the pizza chef wearing a hairnet. Everything was done very quickly.

05/08/2026: Super friendly, fast service, delicious food and large portions with fresh ingredients. Plus, it's smoke-free, which makes the stay pleasant.

07/08/2026: Highly recommended. Very friendly and the food is excellent. Be sure to try the grilled artichoke.

Thank you, Dario, for the warm welcome, the tour of the farm and the unexpected animals, the wonderful food (I'll remember the flat pasta for a long time!), and the sublime setting. We'll definitely be back! Remember to book in advance, as everything is produced on-site!
