31/10/2025: I had mussels for an appetizer and a mixed grilled fish platter. All served with bread and good olive oil. The service was fast and excellent.

06/10/2025: I don't want to be too harsh. Let's just say you shouldn't eat there on purpose. But if you're in the area, after a nice hike up Monte Maggio, a great vantage point, you can stop for a bite to eat at this "restaurant" (wouldn't it have been better to call it a trattoria or an osteria?) where the atmosphere takes you back to the 1960s, the food is very cheap, but it tastes like a canteen. It's a shame, because it wouldn't take much to improve enough to make it acceptable, perhaps by raising the prices by a few euros. On the other hand, the lady is very kind and quick. Of course, they don't have a POS.

You certainly can't expect a Nouvelle Cousin or Michelin-starred restaurant, but the value for money is top-notch. 3 starters to choose from... 3 main courses to choose from, and 3 side dishes to choose from. Both starters and main courses are delicious, and the price also includes water, wine, and coffee. I found this little restaurant by chance, and it was a truly wonderful discovery. Highly recommended for a quick lunch. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Well done.

22/09/2025: I was searching on Google for a restaurant with a work menu. We found this one about 500 meters from the boat show. Well, what can I say? We ate really, really well and even saved money! First course: paccheri with shrimp and mushrooms Second course: grilled calamari Side dish: fresh vegetables Dessert Coffee Paid 15 euros. I can only give it 5 stars, and they're well deserved.

30/11/2025: I'll be very quick... After 45 minutes of waiting, we still haven't even received a good evening. The waiter needs to be called, otherwise he won't show up. The bar has a large space with many tables, but obviously hiring an extra waiter is too expensive. For aperitifs, the food is served cold. This means it doesn't take long to prepare.

A 20 euro fish appetizer where the fish was almost absent and the salmon tasted stale... The badly cooked grilled fish where I had to give up the overcooked tuna... I gave up dessert and coffee to limit the DAMAGE... honestly, the owners need to review some things. For me it was not a happy expense...

03/09/2025: The bar is beautifully decorated, the terrace is very pleasant, sheltered from the noise of the main road, and the waitress is friendly and offers good advice. The Sardinian white wine served with the tapas was excellent!

I discovered Otto Kraus by chance, on a business trip to Genoa and, please, for your own good, don't miss the chance to taste and try this type of approach to burgers. Truly one of the best I've ever tasted. And don't even consider the negative comments, the helpfulness and kindness of the owner are values ​​that are hard to find nowadays, even for those who work in contact with the public.
