DON'COLA cafe In Genova

We had an aperitif with a couple of friends during the week. A beautiful and well-kept place, it truly recalls and reminds you of the real Sicily. Inside, some very smiling and nice employees, a couple instead, decidedly "tired"? Particular and very good cocktails, excellent quality of food consumed. The two flaws, the absence of parking (only available for a fee and much further away) and above all the cost of the aperitif... Two cocktails each, with aperitif, 48 euros each, seems a bit excessive to me.. But once in a while, it can happen

Well, I wanted to go to see a real...what can I say...nice place and certainly friendly staff. We went for an aperitif, from the real it seemed like they served all of Sicily together with a spritz...not like that, it's expensive if you choose something more than appetizers. The choice of preserves on display for sale is excellent, chocolate liqueurs, various creams, nothing to say about that. I don't think I'll go for an aperitif anymore.

There were 4 of us yesterday at 6.30pm, the staff were friendly but a little slow. Good food, a little small platter for 4. Excellent cannoli. Prices compliant with Genoa.

Excellent spritz and coffee, we chose not to add the platter because we had just had lunch, but they usually bring it with the aperitif Very friendly and welcoming place

We had dinner with an excellent pizza and very tasty anelletti, combined with two glasses of Sicilian wines. The service was courteous and attentive

This restaurant was almost genuine sicilian style. At least tuna tartare dish was exceptional, green salad as fresh as it should be. Also vitello tonnata tasted good but aubergine based caponata failed, because it was old, greasy and tasteless. There is limited selection of sicilian wines and goodies to buy as take away.
