18/01/2026: We were there last night and today we are both very sick. The pizza was disgusting and smelled so bad that we had to leave half of it. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough and we both suffered food poisoning. Avoid.

09/12/2025: I received a terrible welcome, the food was mediocre, though made with decent ingredients, and the atmosphere was 40 years old. For the same money, I could eat elsewhere and be treated much better.

30/11/2025: Just seeing how long-time customers have been treated is enough to make me realize that this will be the first and last time I'll ever set foot here. This is definitely not the case.

30/12/2025: A simple place, the owner doesn't put grated cheese on the table, she prefers to put it on herself, from Monday to Thursday only at lunchtime she offers a fixed menu, the first and second courses don't vary.

30/11/2025: For those who don't book or know each other, you are treated as if you don't exist.

26/02/2026: I should start by saying that I only had a ginseng and was offered onion focaccia. I had a great time. The atmosphere is very refined, the owner is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Recommended. P.S. I reserve the right to change my rating on the food as soon as I have the chance to try something else.

01/01/2026: This was by far our favorite place in Genoa. The service was incredibly fast and the value for money was amazing: for €15 per person, we each got a cocktail, a whole pizza, fries, and lots of appetizers (see photo). The place is very nice, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the servers are really friendly. We highly recommend it.

01/02/2026: We had a pretty good time; the main courses, in our opinion, were the best. For the price, it's good, although the desserts leave something to be desired. Furthermore, we've noticed that the quality has deteriorated over time.

30/12/2025: They're very kind. The food is good, simple and well-cooked, and it's very cheap. Perfect!

09/02/2026: The menu is as good as the quality. The only shame is that the coffee machine makes it barely warm.

02/02/2026: We went for dinner on a friend's recommendation. The place was empty except for one table, but the service was incredibly slow. The waitress was friendly, but we had a long wait, even for dessert (which melted on the hot plate). Overall, the place was clean, and the pizza was okay. A Diavola, Coke, Meringue pie, and cover charge were €19.

24/10/2025: OroNero in Cogoleto: Absolute Excellence! ​This place is a true gem and absolutely worth a visit! Breakfast is a heavenly experience; the croissants are fabulous, freshly filled with care and freshness that make all the difference, not to mention the incredible Ligurian focaccia. ​But the wonder doesn't end there! The kitchen is always open (with an unbeatable quality/price ratio) allowing you to enjoy exceptional dishes at any time. ​The environment is meticulously maintained, clean, and welcoming in every detail. The outdoor seating is simply beautiful, perfect for enjoying the weather, but the indoor dining rooms also offer a warm and relaxing atmosphere. ​Honorable mention goes to the professional, impeccable, and extremely polite staff. You can sense their passion and care for their customers in every gesture. ​If you're in Cogoleto, OroNero is a must-see. Trust us, it's worth a try!

16/10/2025: Despite the language barrier, the service is friendly and helpful, and the food is of good quality. We visited twice during our two days in Cogoleto.

15/02/2026: It's a circus, chaotic and disorganized service. They only half-cleaned our table. I can't believe the terrace is closed on such a beautiful day. The food is barely passable.

11/01/2026: A woman who might be the owner greets you at 12:30 PM during normal business hours, complaining that she needs to eat. And then, while you're ordering, she rushes you. The Chinese bartender is friendly.

30/08/2025: With a reservation for seven people, I find two round tables, a carefully crafted silver table setting, excellent bread accompanied by a small plate of mountain butter, and a wine list that reads like a dictionary, and unfortunately, the wine we chose is sold out. This is where the small inconveniences begin. My appetizer, brandacujun stockfish, was excellent, hot, with excellent olives. The same cannot be said for my friends' breaded Monterosso anchovies, which had a slightly worn flavor. Meanwhile, the 10-year-old girl awaits her dish without the slightest attention. The first course: tagliatelle with small-sized scampi in a smoky-flavored bisque, cold and overcooked. The spaghetti with clams was borderline acceptable. Ravioli were served in a used gravy boat, like a carafe, without a spoon or a saucer. Obviously, since I couldn't eat, they asked me, and I replied that I didn't like it. Then the chef showed up, hatless, from the kitchen where another person in civilian clothes was milling around, and insistently demanded explanations, which I promptly provided. He insisted that everything was fresh and the other table had already eaten... We got up and got discounted on the two first courses. 01/07/2025: Excelente atención, comida, vino y musica ambiente. Disfruramos con mi marido de una agradable velada. La suerte estaba de nuestro lado al encontrarlo a nuestro paso. Lo recomiendo.

14/06/2025: He estado aquí muchas veces en estos años. La pizza es genial, siempre. Nunca he comido mal aquí. Ambiente agradable, personal amable, razonablemente privado y en el corazón de Génova centro. Recomiendo y seguiré volviendo.

12/10/2025: A rustic and well-worn yacht club, definitely a laid-back atmosphere overlooking the beach and the sea. The focaccia was good, but the trofie with pesto was unfortunately a bit mediocre. For the main course, there was only mixed fried fish, and after seeing the first course, I didn't feel like trying it. The meringue and chocolate dessert was delicious, without pretensions. Without trying to influence anyone, I'm not sure if I'd recommend it.

07/09/2025: We stopped for lunch. It's more of a bar than a restaurant, with a decent menu but the food is mediocre. The two first courses we ordered were nothing special, just like the restaurants nearby. The young man who served us was very friendly, but finding waiters like that, after all, dispels the myth that Ligurians aren't friendly.

31/12/2025: The food is excellent but the staff could be improved a bit.

23/12/2025: One of the best bars in Genoa! Breakfast, lunch, snacks, aperitifs, and much more, we've always found excellent food and a wide variety at PAPERINO! And the ice cream is also top-notch 👍🏻 On nice days, you can sit outside and enjoy the sun, while in the winter, they have plenty of space inside, too. The staff is always very kind and professional; we've always had a great experience.

11/01/2026: Cold place, cold bathroom, no soap, awful cooked ham and the worst thing is that for three people we paid 3 euros each for the cover charge, so an absurd 9 euros for the cover charge!

27/12/2025: DON'T GO THERE!!!! I don't know who wrote the 4* reviews.....for us, a Boxing Day to forget! . After being stuck on the highway for 2 hours due to an accident, at 2 pm we looked for an open place to eat in Busalla, I called this restaurant asking if they were still serving and they told us they were open. We sat down at a table of 6 at 2:30 pm. We ordered 2 mixed appetizers, steamed mussels, seafood salad, followed by trofie with pesto, two mixed grills, grilled prawns and sea bream. At 3 pm we received wine and water, then we waited until 4 pm! When they finally brought us something, they delivered steamed mussels (good, the only redeeming dish) along with seafood salad and trofie with pesto (overcooked, unsalted, badly drained pasta and poor-quality packaged pesto)....... The two mixed appetizers never arrived! When the main courses arrived half an hour later, the ribs were RAW and cold inside. The prawns were boiled rather than grilled, with the plate full of water. The sea bream were also partially raw! The price would have been fair for the dishes if the cooking and service had been up to par... €158. The only good thing was the pizza dough-based focaccia that they make fresh in the oven to accompany the main courses!

23/02/2026: Everything was perfect, everything was very traditional, the spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the welcome was wonderful. I felt right at home. I recommend it!!!

04/01/2026: Super super welcoming staff, difficult to find people so kind, it's not for everyone.. always with a smile and he in the fantastic service.. we are family with Chanel.. thanks again it was all super super good!!
