21/07/2024: Fresh but medium to low quality food. Unsophisticated cuisine. Trofie con pesto were ok but parmigiano was a low quality grana. Friendly service. Nice place and sensible prices.

Serving a birthday cake on plastic plates with a place setting for €2.50 per person I find absurd. Sin. I was fascinated by the photos. I don't recommend. Terrible value for money

18/07/2024: Typical Genoese tavern, one of those that are now increasingly rare to find, because many prefer to conform to the tastes of tourists. It's certainly not a place for snotty jocks. Here you can still breathe the simplicity of the local cuisine, perhaps without particularly "instagrammable" dishes, but genuine and tasty. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. Absolutely recommended if you visit Genoa, it is also a stone's throw from Brignole station.

13/07/2024: The Perbacco restaurant is not reserved for hotel guests only. We went there at the suggestion of a friend. Excellent hospitality, everyone very kind; family atmosphere. The place is simple, not sophisticated. Home cooking, adequate portions and good value for money. We have already returned and will continue to return.

06/08/2024: I have rarely eaten so well in my entire life and I weigh my words carefully. The dough is both soft and crunchy, the filling is of very good quality and in generous portions. I particularly recommend the “Milù” pizza, an absolute delight. I also thank the staff, you are at the top, kisses from France, we will miss you very much ❤️

11/07/2024: TOURIST TRAP! DO NOT GO HERE! OTHER REVIEWS ARE FAKE/BOUGHT. READ OTHER REAL 1STAR REVIEWS BEFORE GOING HERE We went to this place expecting it to be somewhat decent. It is a family-run place, and the daughter who is the one serving the customers was absolutely and utterly disrespectful. To begin with, she speaks perfect english, so the language barrier isn’t a problem. We ordered Aperol Spritz, and she repeated it — when we get the drinks, we find out that it is not Aperol Spritz, but a cheap rip-off that doesn’t taste anything alike. We ask her to kindly exchange it for something else, which she says “sorry only gin and tonic then”. We were about to leave the place, but then she says “okay, I can do you a favor and get you some white wine”. Ok. That’s fine — although, we find out that she charged us for both the rip-off aperol as well as the white wine. And not any white wine — of course the most expensive one on the menu. I know my wines, and we definetely did NOT get the white wine that we were charged for. We then order some kind of pasta dish with clams as well as steaks. The steaks wasn’t steaks, but instead it was litterally shish kebab (super bad quality “meat” on wooden sticks). The pasta dish didn’t contain clams, and was litterally ONLY pasta with some white sauce (that did not include clams). After making another complaint about the “clam pasta”, she says that we are lying and that it doesn’t state anywhere on the menu card that there’s clams in the dish. She REFUSED to get us a menu card, where I then had to find the menu card online to show her that I am, in fact, not lying. She then exchanges it for a “lasagna”, which did not have any meat in it at all. Super dissatisfied. Didn’t expect much from the place to begin with, but sadly there is not a single positive thing that can be said about this place. The “mother” of the place was sitting right next to us chain-smoking cigarettes, giving us very weird looks and blowing the smoke over to us. After the visit at this place, we went to Santa Margherita to get the best pizzas imaginable — which was way cheaper and way better. The bill ended up at around 180€ for 4 people. For food and drinks not being as described or as pictures on other reviews — which is either fake or the restaurant has gotten new “leadership🤣” since the pictures had been taken. To top it all off, the father of the place decided to park his car right behind our car, blocking any chance of leaving. Of course when asked to move his car, he had to smoke his not one, but two cigarettes before. I can not express this enough… DO NOT GO HERE! Giant tourist trap.

05/07/2024: Very generous portions, having already taken the mixed starter (all delicious) I was already full from the first course, I recommend ordering one course at a time, or to taste more dishes share with someone!

11/08/2024: Excellent fresh food, grilled prawns and mussels mariniere delicious. This restaurant is underrated on tripadviser, one of the best in Genoa. Recommend it to everyone 🥰

Abbiamo ordinato 2 pizze e una pinsa con coca cola e 2 menabrea che sarebbero dovute arrivare alle 21,30 , sono arrivate esattamente alle 22,15 ma ci è passata subito la fame vedendole!!! Una pizza cruda, L altra carbonizzata e una pinsa difficile da buttare giù!!!! E ciliegina sulla torta le birre sono rimaste in pizzeria!!!

13/08/2024: Ristorante Antonio did not disappoint. I returned here on holiday after 4 years, and this place was on my list to visit. Food was great, service was great. Ilaria was our waitress, and she was fantastic. We sat outside and needed mosquito repellant, so bring some!

09/08/2024: Un’ottima esperienza! L’elemento principale che rende l’esperienza eccellente è la gentilezza e la preparazione dello staff. Una delle ragazze che ci ha servito (la ricciolina mora con gli occhiali) è stata davvero elegante, professionale, simpatica e accogliente. Ma soprattutto molto preparata. Il nostro vino bianco non era freddo purtroppo e lei è riuscita con grande savoir faire e formazione a farlo arrivare alla sua temperatura. Questo è sinonimo di grande professionalità. Il ristorante in sé si trova in una location moderna, romantica, tra il design e la tradizione; oltre alla sala interna c’è un bel giardino da dehor. Il menu propone dei piatti molto interessanti, i nostri molto buoni e ben presentati. Anche se nel mio spaghetto con le vongole avrei preferito più sapore. Qualità e costo sono davvero ben equilibrati. Un’ottima scoperta.
