08/11/2025: A beautiful Dolce & Gabbana bar. Truly a delight and exceptionally elegant. Definitely one of the places to visit in Portofino.

08/11/2025: Superb! This was a fabulous cafe stop for me- I was here for the day from our sailing yacht and it was my first time in Portofino. Superb service, great view to people watch in a nice atmosphere, and superb wine - the best Vermentino I’ve ever had! The waitresses kept bringing me crunchy snacks and nice cheeses as a hospitality offering - amazing touch! The food menu looked great, and I can’t wait to come back next year to sample it when I return! This was the perfect place for me to relax sipping wine and nibbling on snacks after my exhausting shopping in the boutiques ;-) , see you in September in 2026, ciao!!!

10/11/2025: The Taverna del Marinaio restaurant is simply fantastic! The food is delicious, everything is fresh and prepared with love. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, perfect for a pleasant evening. The owner is truly kind and friendly—she made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

28/10/2025: The biggest restaurant rip-off of my life! 60 euros for a tomato and mozzarella salad (from the supermarket, what a shame for Italy) and a child's portion (by the way) of pesto pasta. I even took the precaution of asking the waiter if the tomato and mozzarella salad would be enough as a main course; he assured me it was. We ended up buying focaccia from the shop next door because we were so hungry! Paying for a spot is one thing, but this is outrageous! Avoid this place at all costs!

Блюда у всех были приготовлены вкусно , подача красивая, порции большие . Посещали как в обед , так и на ужин , все безупречно . Ценник приемлемый.

07/09/2025: The appetizers are a must. The giardiniera is exquisite. The first courses are also excellent. Kudos to the personalized menu for vegan and celiac guests—a thoughtful touch is much appreciated. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money.

07/09/2025: Passing through Rapallo, I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful agriturismo. This restaurant is quite high up, so there's a wide, spectacular view of the sea! As a celiac, I can honestly say I enjoyed impeccably prepared Ligurian specialties. All the dishes were truly delicious, well-balanced, and full of authentic flavor. I loved the gluten-free focaccia and ravioli, especially the textures, which is very important when it comes to gluten-free diets. The entire staff is friendly, attentive, and always accommodating. The portions are generous; in fact, I couldn't finish them all! The owner loves cooking and cares about making her guests happy. I highly recommend this restaurant. Parking is difficult given the perched location; you'll definitely need the cooperation of other customers to get their cars towed away so you can leave.

26/05/2025: Credo che sia la quinta volta che "raggiungiamo" L'Ulivo... e questo la dice lunga! Il posto, scusate la "location", appaga la vista sia in esterni che all'interno. Classico locale informale ma ben tenuto, esterno da cartolina. Il cibo è ottimo, il servizio presente ma nono ossessivo, il principale un simpaticissimo Oste con la passione per la caccia. Si mangia bene, cose genuine fatte in casa e bene, cosa non scontata. Probabilmente nell'entroterra ligure si possono incontrare molte trattorie, alcune ottime altre un po' meno: qui si ha la certezza che, alzandosi da tavola, si è soddisfatti! Rapporto qualità / prezzo direi molto buono. Mangiando in quattro, due antipasti, tre primi, quattro secondi, due dolci e un formaggio con marmellata, litro di vino della casa e passaggio di alcolici fatti in casa, abbiamo speso 35 eurini a testa. poco più che in pizzeria, poco meno che all'Autogrill! buon appetito a tutti.

25/05/2025: Sono stata a cena con mio marito in questo bellissimo agriturismo a Barassi. La prima cosa che ci ha colpito è la meravigliosa vista sul mare....abbiamo individuato un tavolino fuori e già ci immaginiamo a cena quest'estate! Dentro il ristorante è squisito, tutto in legno con un camino che fa davvero atmosfera. Il cibo molto buono, in particolare la marmellata di pesche servita in abbinamento al gorgonzola: divina! Un grazie particolare a Giorgia che ci ha servito durante la cena: ha saputo unire professionalità e simpatia! Torneremo sicuramente!

07/09/2025: 2025: Unfortunately, management changed about a year ago, and the dishes that made this place special were eliminated to make way for a canteen-style service, perhaps suitable for those stopping by for a break from work, but definitely not suitable for a place that calls itself an osteria. 2023: Excellent pizza made with top-quality ingredients. Delicious homemade tiramisu!! Friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful and very quaint atmosphere.

30/07/2025: One thing's for sure: traditional dishes, made "as they should be" (and as Genoese grandmothers used to make them): minestrone, ravioli, pesto lasagna, meatloaf, stuffed pasta, vitello tonnato, fried anchovies, cima... a true "handbook" of Genoese cuisine! Pleasant and quiet atmosphere, impeccably clean.

18/09/2025: Genoa is the pesto capital, so you expect quality. Here, however, it was one of the worst pestos I've ever tried: too salty. €13 for this dish is a steal; it was worth €8–9 at most. I also had the meat: ordinary, nothing special. For €16, you expect something remarkable, but it was a €10 dish. The salad was already wilted, the bread dry and flavorless, like stale bread. The fries definitely tasted like fried calamari—clearly fried in the same oil—disgusting. I didn't eat them, but they charged me anyway. The service was terrible. The total bill: €53. For what? A meal worse than one at a service station. At least the food is better on the highway. Conclusion: The "cook" is incompetent; anyone can cook better at home. If he thinks he's a chef, he should stop immediately. Answer: Next time, instead of completely denying the poor quality of your restaurant and service, simply change the oil and stop frying fries in the same oil as calamari. The restaurant is awful, the staff is awful, the atmosphere is awful, and the food is simply salty, greasy, and carelessly made. If the pesto is too salty, then the pesto is too salty—it's as simple as that. Since you're in Genoa, at least learn how to make proper pesto; that's the least you can do. If you can't accept criticism and acknowledge that the food is subpar, that's your problem. You can deny it all you want, but the facts don't change, and if need be, I'll continue writing reviews every day. You talk to me about politeness, I'll talk to you about the deplorable quality of your food: get over it, I don't care if you don't have the courage to face the reality of your job. If this is cooking and running a restaurant for you, then clearly we don't have the same standards—and it shouldn't even exist. If the food is rubbish, I won't eat it. That's my standard. Opening a restaurant and not knowing how to make pesto means you should probably look for another job. The same goes for chips that taste like fried squid: it's an absolute disgrace.

05/08/2025: Artisanal pastry shop with an open-plan kitchen. Clean, welcoming, and family-friendly. The owner is very kind. The brioche are excellent, well-balanced, and fragrant. Must try!

12/10/2025: A rustic and well-worn yacht club, definitely a laid-back atmosphere overlooking the beach and the sea. The focaccia was good, but the trofie with pesto was unfortunately a bit mediocre. For the main course, there was only mixed fried fish, and after seeing the first course, I didn't feel like trying it. The meringue and chocolate dessert was delicious, without pretensions. Without trying to influence anyone, I'm not sure if I'd recommend it.

07/09/2025: We stopped for lunch. It's more of a bar than a restaurant, with a decent menu but the food is mediocre. The two first courses we ordered were nothing special, just like the restaurants nearby. The young man who served us was very friendly, but finding waiters like that, after all, dispels the myth that Ligurians aren't friendly.
