La Barcaccia In Genova

Excellent. We spent a pleasant family evening enjoying a magnificent dinner. Located in the central square on Spianata Castelletto in Genoa, with a magnificent panoramic view of the historic center and the old port, just a few meters from the restaurant. They offer the best Ligurian specialties and many simply prepared seafood dishes. We tried two appetizers: the fabulous monkfish with scampi and a delicious tuna tartare, followed by a fabulous salt-baked sea bass with boiled potatoes. For dessert, a very fresh pineapple soaked in coffee. Excellent cocktails and wine list, and we enjoyed an excellent Pigato, a typical Ligurian white wine. A stunning location with a view of Genoa. The owner is Davide Cuppari, very kind, as is the entire restaurant staff. Highly recommended.

A surprise, among the houses of the Castelletto esplanade, with no view but very quiet and without any crowds. Good food and attentive service. They have two sittings.

Yesterday, April 17, 2026, we had lunch with friends at this lovely Genoese restaurant on the Castelletto esplanade. Everything was excellent, from the food to the staff to the location. After feasting our eyes on the view of Genoa from above, we enjoyed delicious dishes at this pleasant restaurant. If you're passing through, definitely stop by.

Intimate and cosy wine bar furnished in a nautical style with a vast selection of wines and spirits, excellent and refined cuisine, excellent salted fish, goulash and truffle dishes.

Delicious Ligurian cuisine, a typical Italian restaurant atmosphere, and no tourists. The menu is short but concise, with delicious ravioli and truffle pasta. Prices are reasonable.

The name suggests the inspiration for this place: a "sea dog" who converted to catering. The restaurant evokes all of its past activities, from the truly beautiful decor to the menu, which features primarily seafood dishes. The wines are excellent; the small rooms and the "seafaring" style give a (positive) impression of an intimate and informal atmosphere.
