18/03/2025: Excellent quality restaurant that does not want to be gourmet, but in the classic Italian style, where you eat well and adequately. Prices in line with the category, the only flaw is limited opening days (it is necessary to book in advance)

24/02/2025: Discreet place, even if it has been redone, it still looks 90s, the food in the evening is nothing to write home about, in my opinion the quality/price ratio deserves to be inadequate. The seafood pasta seems to be made with ready-made frozen sauces, the mussels marinara were cleaned poorly, the stockfish was good. The service is really very sad, for the costs it takes two professional waitresses, I certainly won't go back.

29/03/2025: Excellent trattoria in the Genoese hinterland. It serves traditional first courses, from ravioli with tuccu to gnocchi with pesto. The second courses exclusively based on meat are also special. Tasted shin, veal with tuna sauce and rabbit, all perfect. Homemade desserts and choice of wine. Advised Friendly and welcoming management, a very rare pearl in Liguria!

03/03/2025: Delicious polenta with mushrooms and delicious fried mushrooms. Saturday 12th, I ate delicious wild boar ravioli, mixed fried meat and top-notch strudel. I ate on Monday 8 August 2022 with 100 cum laude, both food and drink. Ate on Friday 28 July 2023 with 200 cum laude Diego.

24/11/2024: Nice atmosphere, with a place to eat even in the garden. The frying was good, hot and the oil was fresh... And the grilled sea bream was truly delicious

25/03/2025: Just had breakfast with an amazing pain au chocolat! I always look forward to trips out of town to the French Riviera to eat excellent, typical French pastry puffs, but this morning I discovered that I can easily find them in the center of Arenzano. I will definitely come back to try other proposals, such as the Maritozzi which immediately capture the attention and, unfortunately, are not so popular in Northern patisseries. Congratulations to the young and kind owner

29/12/2024: We stopped by without a reservation at 6pm on Saturday to get some cakes and single portions and we found the whole assortment. The Bavarian cream with berries was very popular and sold out in a very short time. Well made and well presented desserts. I absolutely recommend

02/03/2025: Tipica trattoria ligure sulle alture di Genova nella zona dei forti. prima volta che ci andavo e quindi non ho trovato alcuna indicazione che segnalasse che l'ultimo pezzo di strada è veramente messo molto molto male...il menù del giorno era limitato a 2 antipasti, tre primi e altrettanti secondi...forse avevano un problema con il cuoco? forse...i prezzi non sono bassi si spende uguale in città o sulla costa...certo panorama spettacolare...

22/03/2025: Di passaggio per un week end lungo in Liguria, abbiamo deciso di testare. Per un pranzo veloce e non impegnativo abbiamo scelto il “BISTROT”Buona accoglienza, personale cortese e disponibile, il corridoio che porta alla sala offre una vista sulle cucine con ottima visuale sulla preparazione della focaccia, si accede ad un’ampia sala rettangolare senza carattere ed anche, secondo me, poco luminosa nonostante fosse una giornata di sole ( non conosco le caratteristiche del ristorante ). Le mitiche focacce abbastanza sottili con forse troppo formaggio anche quelle pizzate o con altri ingredienti. Il prezzo abbastanza alto per una semplice focaccia che, anche se “farcita”, non richiede un grande lavoro di preparazione ( dipenderà dal fatto che “dicono” la focaccia sia nata lì) ma lungo la Riviera ne abbiamo trovata di molto simile ed anche migliore. La prossima volta farò una ricerca più approfondita

16/03/2025: Went to celebrate a retirement with an aperitif, found everything very good and plentiful, possibility of taking whatever you wanted from the buffet. Good choice of cold cuts and cheeses, with various other appetizers which when they arrived towards the end were immediately replenished. Friendly and helpful staff, mainly the manager who made sure that everything went on in the best possible way. Recommended for an aperitif or aperitif.

23/03/2025: A place you want to come back to! We ate here almost every day (we visited Santa Margherita for the 3rd time in the last year) and every time we were delighted - both with the delicious food, from appetizer to main course and wine, as well as the warm, family atmosphere. The service is always smiling, the dishes are tasty and prepared with love, and the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend it to all who appreciate a homely atmosphere, (a lot of locals eat there) and a real culinary feast! Delicious pizza!!!

06/03/2025: Perfect from starter to dessert. 8 years later here again and still a recommendation for honest Italian cuisine at a fair price.
