20/06/2025: This is always a very safe place to take any foreign (foresti) friends to taste proper Genoese food. I loved the usual trofie al pesto and pansotti al sugo di noci, but the most impressive dish time time were the gnocchi with chestnut flour and pesto. Melting in your mouth. Plus a proper Pigato that reminds you of the sea and all the good things that come with it.

15/05/2025: Wow, just wow. Anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cuisine with truly amazing seafood and fish will be in the best hands here. Super delicious, great ambiance, reasonable prices, and perfect service. Since everything is cooked fresh in-house, they can accommodate any requests, and everything we tried was simply delicious. For example, there wasn't a dessert on the menu that I liked. The chef said he had something else and brought out a wonderful cake. Insanely delicious and highly recommended.

30/06/2025: Simply fantastic mussels, truly unforgettable! Everything else was excellent, authentic and well-curated flavors. Some waiting for drinks, but understandable given the large crowd. We will definitely be back!

08/06/2025: I regret leaving a negative review, especially because I had chosen this restaurant on the advice of friends and had invited other people with rather high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We dined in the veranda, where the noise level was so high that it was very difficult to converse at the table - it is not the fault of the staff, but it is an aspect that negatively affects the quality of the evening. We ordered a house appetizer that was served to us after a very long wait, well over 40 minutes. When we asked, we were told that the cutting board takes time to prepare. However, the content did not justify the wait: two whole salamis to peel and slice yourself, along with other products that, personally, I found qualitatively mediocre. In the meantime, while we were still eating the appetizer, we were served the first courses. I had chosen the pici with truffle and pecorino cheese, which disappointed me as much as the appetizer: they seemed to be seasoned simply with oil, a light sprinkling of pecorino cheese and a few flakes of flavorless “truffle”. To prevent them from getting cold, we had to leave the appetizer half-eaten. One person in our group, who had decided to skip the first course to have a second course (a fillet), was the only one who was satisfied with the dish received. During dinner, a waiter asked us how it was going. A little embarrassed - because I honestly felt sorry - I replied that unfortunately it wasn't going well. The waiter simply reported it to the owner, who however didn't bother to come to the table, nor to ask for explanations, nor to apologize. In conclusion, as far as I'm concerned it was a disappointing experience, especially for the quality of the dishes, the waiting times and the customer management. I don't think I'll be back.

La prima cosa che colpisce ogni volta è la ricercatezza dei piatti, ogni portata è una piccola opera d’arte, curata nei minimi dettagli e pensata con grande creatività dallo chef. Gli ingredienti sono di altissima qualità, freschissimi e selezionati con attenzione, il che si traduce in sapori autentici e sorprendenti. Lo chef dimostra una maestria incredibile, riuscendo a combinare tradizione e innovazione in modo perfetto. Ogni sorta di piatto ha quel tocco in più che rende la cena speciale, facendoci sentire ogni volta coccolati e viziati. Lo staff poi è sempre molto gentile e professionale, ti fa sentire come a casa, con un sorriso sincero e una cura che si percepisce in ogni dettaglio del servizio. Il locale è accogliente, particolare, perfetto per una serata in cui si desidera sentirsi davvero coccolati in un ambiente curato con gusto. In poche parole, un’esperienza culinaria che consiglio a chi cerca qualità, bellezza e un’atmosfera intima e raffinata. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

01/06/2025: Siamo stati da Carlo per una cena speciale in famiglia e siamo stati benissimo. Ogni piatto, studiato nei dettagli, è’ stato una sorpresa di sapori. Servizio impeccabile e location suggestiva, curata nei dettagli. Consigliatissimo!

01/05/2025: An unforgettable culinary experience! The oysters with chocolate, lemon foam and chilli were a revelation: a bold and surprising combination of flavours. Each dish is a discovery, the result of the creativity of a chef who confirms himself as a true artist, deserving of many stars. The staff were impeccable: courteous, attentive and always available. Only personal note: I prefer environments without the presence of dogs, for a question of comfort during the meal. It would be useful for the venue to clearly indicate its policy in this regard, so as to allow all customers to make an informed choice. Overall, a restaurant that I highly recommend to those looking for an out-of-the-ordinary gastronomic experience.

We ate "la calamarata" a very tasty dish. The focaccia was also very good. It will definitely be a stop on our next stay in Albisola.

27/06/2025: Great experience - we sat inside for the air conditioner and intimate vibe but the tables in the square seemed like a nice experience as well. Food was fantastic and service over the top (quick, great wine recommendations, and really cared that our time was enjoyable). We had the pesto pasta, octopus, lamb, and tiramisu. Definitely go here if visiting Genoa

21/06/2025: So: from the start I want to thank the old lady that knew spanish and we managed to cross the romanian/english/italian/spanish barrier. 1. All that contains sea food and fresh water fishes 10/10. Worth the trip up the hill to eat here. 2. The rose frizzante wine ( house made ) quite good. 3. The employees are great, not that keen on english, but we managed to pass it. 4. Carbonara a big nono ( i know it's not the region for aksing that ). The rgg was scrambled egg, guanciale is pancetta ( i hope ) and no pecorino romano, no parmigiano reggiano, maybe grana padano if I was lucky. 5. The pork meat was delicious, juicy, not rubbery, made on wood grill. All good. Besides of the carbonara all was great. Sorry for the 4/5.

27/06/2025: Fresh, oh what a lovely breeze... just arrived. You have to book, yes, the road to get there is tortuous but it's worth it! Excellent first courses, such as pansoti, tagliatelle with mushroom sauce. After a while finally found and ate well-cooked baked potatoes, usually difficult to eat they seem boiled and unseasoned elsewhere. To be repeated
