11/10/2025: The owner and staff are beyond description. We were four more people than our reservation, and they treated us rudely all evening. We paid €60 each for two drinks and four pieces of focaccia. They deserve to go bankrupt. Rude beyond belief.

13/10/2025: The food was unbeatably delicious. The best fish soup I've ever eaten. Seafood noodles were equally amazing. You can't go wrong here. Simply top-notch value for money! Top-notch service! It couldn't be better! Always our first choice when we're in the area!

05/10/2025: We went for lunch yesterday for the first time. Everything was good. We had fantastic egg tagliolini with clams, delicate fried food that was light and very tasty. Then they brought us mussels and clams with tomato sauce and croutons to mop up the sauce. 😋 Perhaps a little pricey, but that's okay. Highly recommended.

05/09/2025: We had all-you-can-eat sushi two nights in a row with our family of five. The food was truly amazingly delicious. Nothing to complain about! However, the first night our food arrived very quickly, and the second night it took too long for us. That was a bit of a shame. Overall, everyone was very friendly, but I think it was due to the crowds. Reservations are recommended!

04/09/2025: All-you-can-eat sushi in the evenings and on weekends for around €30 per person, for people over 130cm tall, excluding drinks. Absolutely delicious. We went here two nights in a row. Great service. The second night had a longer wait for our food than the first. Perhaps the second night was even busier, although both nights seemed full, which is a good sign when everyone comes here. A huge selection of food, including mussels and various meat dishes in addition to the sushi. Highly recommended!

29/07/2025: A very pleasant little restaurant with a magnificent view. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member. The Italian specialties we ate will remain unforgettable. A romantic meal to repeat.

28/07/2025: We came from Sanremo specifically, intrigued by the reviews and our passion for Poggio, but we were disappointed. The lady who takes the orders, besides repeatedly reiterating that the chef was alone in the kitchen, asked us annoyedly if we could order at least two people the same thing. So we agreed to her, and she suggested we share appetizers for two. The fact is, at the end of the day, she charged us 72 euros for four appetizers. The food was excellent, nothing to complain about, but the kitchen was completely disorganized. The carafe wine was terrible at 12 euros for half a liter, so we had to order a bottle. In short, for a modest restaurant, the service was modest, the food good, and the prices were unreasonable. It's a shame, we would have happily been regulars, like we always have been going to Montecalvo. WE STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

08/09/2025: I advise restaurateurs to update their opening and closing hours. And to update their holidays. We looked for this place, walked a lot, and when we arrived, we found them closed for holidays. It's a shame we'd known this beforehand, we wouldn't have driven all those miles.

03/08/2025: An old-fashioned restaurant in this Arroscia Valley village where I had lunch on this first Sunday in August. Home-style cooking, good ingredients, and authentic flavors. Various appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and two desserts. Wine is already on the table when you arrive. Table service could be improved. Good value.

01/08/2025: A traditional restaurant in a hotel in the Ligurian hinterland, offering a fixed menu of 8-9 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses, and 2 desserts, plus wine and coffee, all for €32 per person. The second courses are excellent, featuring high-quality meat, and the appetizers are always memorable: the raw meat and the cheese focaccia. This restaurant has been around for many years, and is a surefire winner, perhaps the best in the area. The only downside is the dated atmosphere.

The space is large, the waiter (Mirko, I seem to remember) was very helpful, kind, and approachable. The dishes were simple but good, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely go back! I recommend making a reservation!
