29/04/2026: It's actually a restaurant/pub, with limited seating, so if you're going on the weekend, book in advance. It's located on the main avenue called Via del Prione, in a small alley. If you arrive by car, you can't enter because it's a pedestrian area, so park elsewhere. The place is small, with a slightly Viking atmosphere. The menu is also in style, with hearty dishes like cheese and cured meat platters made with local products, pork shank (you'll occasionally find goulash), flavorful first courses, including wild boar meat, dressed potatoes stuffed in various ways, and also some good desserts. Let's just say this is a place for carnivores. If you like fish, go elsewhere. They obviously have good craft beers for all tastes, as well as an interesting local wine cellar. If you're traveling with children, the noisy customers and small space make it a bit cramped, and they don't have a children's menu. The food is quite good, and the owners are friendly. The prices aren't low, but La Spezia is now a tourist destination, so it's like that everywhere. Give it a try!

27/04/2026: As for the pub, nothing to complain about, everything was excellent. What you might not expect, besides the welcoming atmosphere and the friendly staff, was the food (complimentary chef) and the excellent beer. Top, top, thanks for the evening, a big hello from Milan! A husband and wife team of six tables explain in detail each course from the chalkboard menu with warmth and professionalism. They prepare it with passion, care, and dedication, and then serve it, giving you all the time you need to savor its every nuance. A truly worthwhile place to try; you won't regret it.

05/05/2026: Delicious food! We had the pasta with clams and the pasta with walnut sauce. Both were super good!! At the end we tried the red berries cheesecake that was also superb! The staff were really friendly. They’ve offered us coffee and limoncello at the end. Definitely recommend it!

29/12/2025: I had a feeling this could be a good place to eat. We were greeted kindly by the staff, who asked if we could change tables; the request was quickly accepted. The appetizers were excellent; we regretted not ordering a third. The dry mixed fried fish was good. The pasta with "mare mosso" (rough sea) sauce; my son described it as excellent. The desserts were unusual and delicious. Well done!

28/12/2025: Christmas Eve dinner. Extremely friendly staff. Exceptional food. Absolutely mouth-watering! We tried the seafood appetizer here, fried anchovies, stockfish, trofie with pesto, mandilli with pesto, panissa, and ravioli in love. All washed down with an excellent Lunae brut rosé! What can I say, everything was exceptional, honorable mention for the pesto! Thank you for your hospitality!

18/03/2026: A very elegant restaurant with excellent food, especially the welcome aperitif, which amazed us with its uniqueness! There's a wide selection of wines and dishes on the menu, and the owner is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

06/04/2026: It could have been better… Of all the culinary experiences I've had in my life, I think this one ranks near the bottom of my list. To begin with, the first impression was ruined by the awful smell of fried food as soon as we walked in the door: to be clear, "fried" doesn't mean the smell of fish in a restaurant, but rather the stench of used oil, as if the dining room had been set up directly inside the kitchen! When we politely asked, "Good morning, is there room for three people?", the staff slumped and said, "I don't know...", as if we weren't welcome at all and the restaurant was full. In reality, only a couple's table was occupied, and to top it all, our greeting wasn't returned. Fortunately (or should I say unfortunately), despite countless minutes of silence, they managed to assign us a table, but when we saw the glasses, our eyes widened. Not only had they been poorly dried and therefore full of limescale, they were also completely dirty, almost as if they hadn't been washed. My friends and I even worried about being rude by asking for a change, but the situation was quite unhygienic: so, after asking for a change, they brought us new glasses, which weren't even much better than the others in terms of cleanliness, and what's more, they were wine glasses (when we only had still water to drink). We also had other basic requests, such as at least some cutlery or a pasta dish without pieces of foil inside... but we let it go; it wouldn't have been worth it, especially since the staff from the start was neither welcoming nor particularly helpful. On the other hand, there's nothing negative to say about the food: even if the quality wasn't the best, we managed to eat well. Another plus point of this restaurant is definitely the portions, which are directly proportionate to their price (which may initially seem a bit excessive). We struggled to finish two plates of pasta between three people. To be honest, I wouldn't go back...I just hope they can improve on these "little things" that would really make a difference!

29/03/2026: We returned to this restaurant after celebrating our daughter's wedding there a few years ago. The food was excellent, the location enchanting, and the service attentive. After lunch, we spent the afternoon in the restaurant garden with the children soaking up the sun while enjoying a splendid view.

01/03/2026: A scenic setting on the Arenzano hill with a breathtaking view. Convenient parking. Traditional Ligurian menu that adapts to the seasons with a few small variations. The staff is friendly and attentive. The spacious restaurant is stylishly furnished and well-organized. It's a regular stop every time I pass by.
