06/07/2026: I had dinner at Osteria La Carabaccia and had a truly positive experience. The restaurant is welcoming and well-kept, with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are prepared with quality ingredients and are rich in flavor: you can sense the attention to both the cuisine and tradition.
The service was impeccable! The host was super helpful and attentive. Excellent value for money. If you're looking for a place to eat well in La Spezia, away from the typical touristy restaurants, this osteria is definitely worth a visit. I would definitely go back!
05/07/2026: Perhaps the best meal I've ever eaten. The vibes are immaculate, the service is wonderful, and the food is next level. This restaurant simply cannot exist anywhere else; it's offering the very best of Liguria.

16/08/2026: Extremely expensive, with fake courtesy and a lack of transparency regarding prices.
It's okay to pay €11.50 for a piece of focaccia and a drink. What's not okay is declaring one price and then applying another at checkout, simply by holding up the POS terminal without showing or communicating the amount.
In Varazze, you can find better focaccias, at much more reasonable prices.

15/07/2026: We stumbled upon this little gem completely by chance, and it was a wonderful experience. I'd like to start with the impeccable service. All three waiters were delightful, professional, and incredibly warm. They brought us water for the dog before we even asked for it. The smoked salmon appetizer was superb, the gnocchi were delicious... But, ladies and gentlemen, the linguine with Castelmagno cheese stole the show!
The only flaw was the tiramisu in the bowl, which didn't seem fresh, but it was still a great experience.
14/07/2026: Carefully crafted dishes, excellent ingredients, and unique pairings. The mussel appetizer, for example, isn't your average marinara or peppered mussels: the ginger, lime, honey, and soy sauce sauce creates a truly interesting pairing. The linguine with scallops, bottarga, and lemon is fabulous. Seafood and meat menu. Quick and attentive service. Excellent selection.

31/07/2026: I want to publicly thank the owner of this restaurant. Five minutes after sitting down, we had to turn down because there was nothing affordable for our modest means.
The lady was extremely kind, understanding even what we hadn't explicitly said, and greeted us with the same courtesy as if we'd been feasting on champagne.
True elegance lies not in the location or the service, but in the gestures that accompanied our embarrassment.
I apologize again for the inconvenience; unfortunately, a week or two of vacation is a luxury for many of us, and we have to consider every single expense.

Few tables, impeccable service from the owner, and very carefully prepared dishes.
The prices are moderately high, but justified by the quality of the food.

03/04/2026: This is an amazing place to eat. The staff was sweet, the beer was good, and the food was delicious.
We arrived a bit early, so there were no one in the restaurant besides us, but that didn’t matter at all. The vibes were great regardless, and they have free wifi.
If we had the time, we would go back for sure!
