24/08/2024: Fantastic dining experience. Welcomed by the owner, a truly friendly and knowledgeable person who briefly told the history of the place and the origin of the raw materials used in the kitchen; all 0 km products and homemade pasta. Competent and helpful staff. They served hand-rolled breadsticks in an original composition, in a vase. I highly recommend trying their pasta, in particular the so-called hemp hay pasta (it has nothing to do with cannabis) and personally I tried the canapine ceciliani with pepper cream and bread crumble flavored with anchovies and canepina hay with hemp flour, white ragù, fennel flower and chopped hazelnuts...amazing. The restaurant has received many culinary awards including Slow Food and has also appeared on television programs.

22/07/2024: Locale molto romantico, in una suggestiva cornice medioevale, personale molto accogliente, professionale. Ci siamo goduti la parte esterna, curata nei particolari, ma anche l’interno merita di essere vissuto. Il menù prevede circa una trentina di proposte tra antipasti, primi, secondi piatti e dolci. Pane fatto in casa tiepido e fragrante. Ogni piatto presentato con molta cura, ha stuzzicato il palato e soddisfatto appieno le aspettative. Torneremo sicuramente. Assolutamente da consigliare

That I ate the best bruschetta of my life, I know, it seems exaggerated but it's really like that, we have to ask the chef for the secret, but his Pompeian sauce is amazing. Then grilled meat and my husband had pappardelle with wild boar ragù, very good. Unfortunately we skipped the desserts, too bad. I also recommend the beers, they are special. Friendly and helpful staff, very nice place.

25/08/2024: I had the pleasure of having lunch today at the Casa del Gusto restaurant and the experience was extraordinary. We started with a cutting board that to define as wonderful would be an understatement: each ingredient was displayed clearly and impeccably, creating a spectacular and unique sight. The first courses were a real delight, with attention to the smallest details, with refined and genuine flavours. which combine homemade tradition with a touch of originality. Finally, the hot hazelnut cake was the grand finale: a dessert that alone would be worth the visit. All this at an incredibly reasonable price, only 25 euros each for starter , first courses, dessert and drinks. The service was perfect, with the right timing and a convivial atmosphere that is rarely found. A place to definitely return!

18/08/2024: Walking along the Corso di Caprarola, we wanted to try this restaurant and, given the improvisation, only internal tables were available. Given the outside temperature was not the worst we accepted, unfortunately the absence of air conditioning made itself felt. To start we had two appetizers, baked scamorza with truffle flakes, very good and the truffle on the plate was excellent and plentiful, a portion of fried aubergine meatballs in tomato sauce, very soft and good... an excellent choice . We wanted to end the evening with two first courses, a fettuccine with white wild boar ragù and a picio all'amatriciana...unfortunately the evening took an unexpected turn. Both dishes were a little dry, the fettuccine with ragù was too dry, as was the amatriciana sauce, too thick and slightly dry. A real shame because the quality of the pasta and the wild boar meat was beyond question. We are quite convinced that it was a bad night. We will definitely be back to try new dishes. Sin.

28/08/2024: Ambiente tranquillo, camerieri simpatici e disponibili. Purtroppo non ho potuto mangiare sul terrazzo con vista perché caldissimo. Primo piatto con sugo, guanciale e pecorino ottimo, grandi risultati per il palato anche da un piatto di fagioli e uno di bresaola presi come secondo. Vino bianco dalla carta buono. Da tornerci

The route proposed today, August 15th 2024, by Deborah, the talented owner of the "tavern", was a true sensorial experience: everything impeccable in a happy harmony of flavors and aromas with high quality ingredients selected from what the area offers. Absolutely balanced quality/price ratio. We will definitely be back.

22/08/2024: Trip out of town from Rome, discovering the beautiful Villa Farnese. Lunch time we find this splendid place, which at first sight is hidden, but then going down the ramp, you arrive in this immense place that was created from an ancient cellar... hence the name of the place. I took a small house starter, but the wonderful thing is the first courses. There are so many dishes that I would have liked to try them all. We took the red daisies with gorgonzola cream, speck and walnuts SPECTACULAR and ravioli filled with artichoke cream with mushrooms and truffles. But believe me, there are many other tasty and innovative first courses. For the second course I only had an entrecôte also here with gorgonzola cream. For dessert, hazelnut tiramisu, being Caprarola, a town that produces them. The wine was from neighboring Umbria. Excellent service. High cost but it's all for the quality!

31/07/2024: The welcome at the ancient inn Mitreo was very friendly and the place is well furnished. All the service was very professional, kind and helpful. The dishes tasted good and prepared with excellent quality ingredients and satisfied the various diners. The bill is average for the area.
