13/03/2026: We went to LA STORTA Unconventional Pizza for dinner with friends. The place is very beautiful and well-kept, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the idea of ​​"unconventional" pizza is interesting. We started with a small fried pizza each as an appetizer, which arrived fairly quickly. We then ordered pizzas around 9:00 PM. The menu doesn't have a huge selection (about six pizzas), but it must be said that the quality of the pizza is truly excellent. The main problem, unfortunately, was the wait: the pizzas didn't arrive until 11:14 PM, over two hours after we ordered them. This was a truly excessive wait, especially considering it was Thursday evening and not a weekend. During this entire wait, the service was practically nonexistent: we weren't even considered, and nothing was brought to us to help break the wait. A simple focaccia in the center of the table would have been greatly appreciated. In the end, I had to go and ask for one myself to prevent anyone from falling asleep from hunger. Also, when a friend of mine asked for bread, he was told it was out of bread. In short: very good pizza and a pleasant place, but the wait was really long and the service was inattentive. With better organization in the dining room and kitchen, it could be a truly excellent place.

My wife's first course arrives immediately after, and my first course arrives after 45 minutes. Only because I was pushed. Undercooked tonnarelli and indecipherable flavors. Prices different from the menu published on the website. I do not recommend it.

The atmosphere is refined, welcoming, and relaxing, with a discreet elegance that instantly makes you feel at ease. The sweet selection is extensive and well-crafted: brioches, single-serving pastries, traditional pastries, and artisanal specialties, always fresh and meticulously crafted in both flavor and presentation. The coffee is also excellent, served with attention to detail and small details that make all the difference, like the whipped cream or the waffles that accompany some of the dishes. My favorite dessert is the Danish: cream with chocolate chips. Delicious! The service is one of its true strengths: the staff is friendly, professional, and always smiling, creating a family atmosphere while maintaining high standards. The prices are in line with the quality offered, perhaps slightly above average, but justified by the overall experience. Overall, an almost obligatory stop for anyone passing through Latina looking for a high-quality breakfast or sweet break, in a pleasant atmosphere and with truly well-made products. One of those pastry shops you'll want to return to.

30/12/2025: We wanted to eat something at this fish restaurant; by Italian standards, it was a bit more expensive. The menu was also very limited, but that's okay. However, what I don't think is acceptable is that the dish we chose initially didn't have a sauce listed, so we agreed to an alternative. However, when the waiter also told us there was no fish available and we could only have squid, we decided to leave. The overall conclusion was a limited menu (3 dishes), of which only one was available. No alternatives. The reason: the quality of the fish didn't meet the restaurant's standards. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to it. Anyway, we found a lovely restaurant a little further down the street {N DINO}

01/03/2026: What can I say, exorbitant prices and terrible quality. The only edible thing was the calamarelle with pecorino cheese. Spaghetti with clams was tasteless and full of flour, never happened before (I love Gaeta and its restaurants). Mixed fried fish and fried anchovies were inedible, SPONGY, terrible. The dishes seemed to have no flavor, it was like eating a slice of bread. In fact, that's a compliment. On a positive note, PERHAPS the Trebbiano, even if it tastes more like Prosecco (but passable). I hope at least the products are fresh because honestly, I can't express any opinion on that subject as I didn't taste anything. Having said that, 5 people, 5 first courses (2 calamari, 2 spaghetti with clams, 1 tagliatella with ragu, 2 mixed fried foods + fried anchovies, seafood starter and one meat starter + battered auk and vegetable frittatas. A whopping 215.00 euros. Absolutely out of market compared to the competition but the problem really isn't the cost but the quality, 90% of what was ordered was truly inedible and immediately went back to the kitchen. A terrible experience, not to mention the fumes from the kitchen that literally INVADE you with no way out. I'm really sorry but it's to be avoided at all costs.

08/12/2025: Passing through Itri at lunchtime, we decided to stop at this osteria. It was crowded on a Sunday, but the owner luckily found us a table. We took their advice: pappardelle with fantastic wild boar ragù, cod with cherry tomatoes and crostini, and tripe with pecorino cheese—all delicious. The house Montepulciano wine was also excellent. Mr. Cesare and his family were empathetic, very friendly, and witty. Worth a try. P.S.: "The amaro was delicious." I wish I'd had a bottle 🤪

23/02/2026: A historic local spot. I hadn't been here in ages. However, the pub has a vast menu. I had a granola sandwich with salmon, salad, potato sticks, and Apulian burrata. Very pleasant and light flavor. Friendly staff. I'll be back very soon!

27/02/2026: Scandalous! €8 for a plate of “seasonal vegetables” consisting of a few slices of grilled eggplant, some iceberg lettuce, and three cherry tomatoes cut in half… As for the main dish, it looked like a school cafeteria meal from when I was a kid. The tielles were extremely greasy and very expensive for the quantity. Skip this place — it may look nice, but don’t stop there. It’s literally cafeteria food; they’re taking us for fools. In the end, the restaurant’s name is fitting — but not when it comes to the prices. It’s very expensive for both the quantity and quality!

03/01/2026: The entrance doesn't do justice to this restaurant's atmosphere, cuisine, and impeccable service. The difference was definitely made by the attentive service, which revisited the menu to accommodate my vegetarian requests, and offered a local wine and a truly delicious olive oil. If you're wandering the alleys of Gaeta, I recommend seeking out this gem!
