19/03/2026: I happened to have lunch at Alchimia 2.0 today. Excellent welcome, very friendly and smiling staff...and to finish, the orecchietta with broccoli and sausage was amazing. Must try.

16/05/2026: Honestly, given the reviews, I expected better. The seafood appetizer was plentiful but lacked flavor. The linguine with clams was too salty for my taste and tasted neither of the sea nor of garlic and oil. The shrimp and prawns used in the pasta sauce were not fresh. Could it be the rough seas of the last few days? Maybe... but I specifically asked for their daily specials... the mussels were good, and the dishes based on squid and calamari sauces are good. Courteous and helpful staff. Family atmosphere. Fair prices.

06/06/2026: After many years, I returned to Triestina. The gelato was good. There weren't a ton of flavors, but there was plenty to choose from. The gelato was a little too cold, as if it were frozen. Other times, I'd found it creamier. The only downside was the cashier. When we approached the counter, there was no one in the shop. The first thing she asked wasn't what we wanted, but "Did you pay?" We certainly wouldn't have run away.

09/06/2026: We went for dinner on Saturday evening, recommended by friends. Perfect advice, I'd say. We initially had a table in an air-conditioned room facing us, and they quickly accommodated us by offering us an even larger table. They served us very attentively and kindly explained each dish to us. We had four different fish appetizers, all delicious, two fish first courses, a fried dish, and a fish second course. Furthermore, there was a celiac at the table, and they provide all gluten-free options. Highly recommended for an excellent dinner in a friendly, family atmosphere.

02/06/2026: A welcoming restaurant with dishes that can surprise you. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the evening; both the pizzas and the first and second courses were delicious. An excellent choice, especially for those with celiac disease, as they take great care to differentiate gluten-free dishes from those that may be contaminated.

31/05/2026: We went to the restaurant: Traditional local cuisine, very good and well-prepared. The meat in particular was excellent, and the pizza dough was superb. I wasn't crazy about the tomato sauce on the pizza, but overall it was good. Prices were average. The location is very welcoming, and there's a pergola! Nice... The service staff are young, super polite, and always available to help.

The restaurant is bright, modern, and welcoming. The atmosphere is informal, featuring a distinctive open-view wood-fired oven. The menu is extensive: it offers appetizers like fried foods and delicacies to start, a wide variety of pizzas, from classic to specialty, and desserts. There's also a wide selection of drinks and beverages, including beers and wines. The pizzas are delicious, with a soft, light dough and toppings that pair perfectly. The flavor and aroma showcase the freshness and authenticity of the ingredients and raw materials. Desserts include Nutella-filled pizza bombettes and frozen truffles. The latter are especially delicious, especially the black and white truffles.

16/05/2026: Today for lunch, a little restaurant recommended by a friend, very, very good... simple but traditional menu, with fresh homemade pasta from a competent, friendly, and welcoming chef. A family atmosphere. I'll definitely return, and I recommend it to all tourists passing through this beautiful city. Plus, it's on the main street, just before the square with the church and the archaeological museum, both worth a visit. Bravo, Igino!!!! (PS: he's the chef, owner, waiter, and dispenser of recipes and diets... a superhero!!!)

01/04/2026: I had a glass of the white wine they serve open. It was not very good. Then I had a risotto with artichokes and gamberini as a first, followed by gamberi agli agrumi as a second course. the food was good. As I did not like the white anv had already finished my Seafood when i got served again, I tried the red wine they serve open. It was bad. But except for the open wines a good experience. if you can avoid them drink something different.

28/03/2026: Excellent pizza and friendly staff. It was recommended to us by another restaurant owner, which is definitely a plus. We'll be back to try the seafood!
