09/11/2025: In a warm mountain setting, with a lively dining room, Monday night showcased the vibrancy of one of the few active establishments in this beautiful mountain village. There were some pleasant surprises when choosing wines, including the magnificent Livio Felluga, Vértigo, which speaks of terroir and foreign grape varieties. Just a couple of pasta dishes with venison ragu, where the magic was diminished by the overuse of a heavy-handed knife that flattened the dish. The pasta was good, but the overall experience was underutilized by the presence of this harsh knife, which made everything seem even. A little cheese served as a fitting end to the meal. The next day we returned for lunch and found the same flaw in a goulash and a venison stew. The dishes fell short of their potential. Attentive service. Friendly atmosphere.

24/02/2026: We stumbled upon this traditional restaurant on our first evening based on a recommendation from our hotel, and we kept coming back for the rest of our stay! A welcoming, family-run establishment where the cuisine is authentic and exceptional! You're spoiled for choice, and everything is delicious: from the charcuterie boards (their lard is truly divine!) to the homemade pasta dishes, fresh salami cooked with onion and vinegar, and polenta, or the classic frico. The tiramisu and pear strudel are fantastic!

03/10/2025: Delicious homemade products for takeout. They have everything from yogurt to aged cheeses; the ricotta is sublime. Very crowded on Sunday lunchtime, but well-organized.

14/09/2025: Traditional dishes with authentic flavors. The herb-filled Cjarsons, frico, and goulash are excellent. The desserts are also delicious, including strudel and fried forest fruit tart. Highly recommended.

03/02/2026: Everything is good, the staff is very friendly and the beer is also very good. You can also get to the place on the Urban Udine public lines 2, 1, 81, 9, and the special student line E, including all suburban buses entering Udine from: Tolmezzo, Gemona, etc.

22/11/2025: A warm, family-run restaurant, perfect for business lunches (there's also the option of a quick meal) but also for a relaxing meal... exceptional first courses, second courses, and side dishes, always fresh, so much so that the menu changes twice a week based on seasonal ingredients. Ester's desserts are truly special and heartwarming!

08/03/2026: New pizzeria restaurant in Baldasseria, very large, modern, and elegant inside. Southern specialties, including many types of pizza, as well as good first courses, like their house pasta dish with eggplant (pictured). Prices are reasonable. The Oro coffee is good. It's a shame that from the outside the place isn't very visible and not at all elegant, especially the horrendous parking lot...but that's the responsibility of the municipality and the work they're doing on the canal, not the restaurant itself.

08/03/2026: First and last experience. After 40 minutes, no one showed up at the table. They got up and left. I wish posterity better service. I'm replying to the owner here, because it's not possible to do so following his comment. No, it happened last night. Table 12 near the entrance. There were plenty of waiters, but it was impossible not to notice that there were clearly customers and customers, because hugs and kisses and subsequent service were quickly reserved for numerous people who arrived after us. Perhaps what needs to be revised is the "attitude." One can wait for the pizza, but asking for a simple order doesn't require much effort.

04/01/2026: Excellent seafood, but the service could be improved. The staff doesn't understand Italian very well, which leads to mistakes. Highly recommended for a quiet dinner with good food.

02/01/2026: Highly recommended, the owner is friendly and kind, explaining their dishes, most of which are homemade. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The grilled food is tender and tasty, the homemade tagliolini with a generous sausage ragù, and the picanha is tasty and well-cooked! I wish we could find more places like this! 07/10/2025: I really liked the place: a traditional trattoria, limited seating, a family atmosphere, and reservations required. The only downside was the wait time for food: an hour. Probably because it was Sunday and the place was packed. The food was excellent. A 10 for the New Zealand cubroller with baked potatoes.

11/03/2026: I've been there twice. It's a very nice place. I must say the staff and owners are very kind and helpful. The food is also very good. I'll be back as soon as possible.

23/11/2025: Here you can eat really good pizza for a very reasonable price. It's more like a pub/bar, but it turns out that the price-performance ratio is really excellent. We were there on a Saturday evening, and considering they "only" served pizza 🍕, it was quite full. It's located a little off the main road on a very quiet side street. I recommend it to anyone who wants simple but good pizza and isn't too concerned about the atmosphere. By the way, there were five of us, each of us had a pizza plus drinks, and we paid €80 for everything, including a €1.50 Coke. (1 liter of house wine €5, 0.25 can of Coke €2.50) I haven't eaten so cheaply for such good quality in a long time.
