Easter with the family! We came to eat on Easter day and took the fixed Easter menus. There were 15 of us and we all had a good time. Baked maino and baked lamb excellent, tender and cooked just right. The pasta was also good. We will definitely come back here to try the pizza too. The staff were very kind and very nice.

Everything OK! We now come at least 3/4 times a month. Now that the summer has begun, they have also opened the games for the children outside. The girl at the tables is very kind. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer but they explained to us that it's because they don't have anything ready but everything is done expressly! Even the sauces! So those who have patience will gladly come here!

Gorgeous, Bea is adorable. Ela's daughter is an Angel who moves between the tables and the evening passes very pleasantly. What about eating? Very good, we come here every evening, I recommend all the dishes, excellent Roman cuisine👍

Ieri sera ho ordinato 3 pizze, su una di queste tra cui la tonno e olive, mi son trovato qualcosa che non ho idea di che cosa sii, dall'aspetto sembra un pezzo di pasta(orecchiette),chiedo di fare massima attenzione su cosa può scappare nel preparare la pizza, comunque il pezzo l'ho salvato ein questi giorni capirò di cosa si tratta.

01/04/2024: The staff at the tables were not sufficiently trained. Sometimes using non-professionals can be an economic advantage, but not a quality one. Waiters must learn and be followed by more experienced ones. Food okay. Wine (we purchased a bottle of prosecco) not commensurate with the dignity of the location. Excellent location. It is located in one of the most beautiful corners of Trieste. Prices to be revised downwards. I'll be back to see if it improves. However, to enjoy a short break in an enchanting place I recommend it.
26/03/2024: Located near the Grand Canal of Trieste and a few steps from the main square overlooking the sea, ideal for celebrating in company as it has large spaces. A rich and varied menu to satisfy even the most demanding. Value for money and service excellent balance.

Bar Caffè Retrò

18/02/2024: It was all right, but the plate was dirty.
16/09/2023: We caught the Muggia ferry opposite a couple of days ago but did not notice Caffè Retro. Typical bar where you pay more for table service outside than going to the bar. Adds 0.5€ per drink. On busy seafront road but it is warm and still sunny mid September as we contemplate a return to a wet homeland next week. Paulicarus and Madge on a small beer alla spina 3.50€ ( Austrian Hirter beer). Americano coffee (2€) for us. Not a fan of Segafredo.
