Great ice cream, good coffee, but plastic chairs, cheap tables makes you feel you are not in the riva of famous town of Trieste. We got watter at special request while having coffee...

Our first pit stop of the evening as we strolled along the harbour. Just past the Excellsior Hotel we noticed this little ice cream cafe. Stopped for Aperol Spritz. Waitress service. Drinks served with more potato crisps. Nice view as the evening sun lowers. The seafront road is busy and thus noisey. Paulicarus and Madge like the look of the ice cream and cake selection. Probably more a reason to stop. 4.50€ per Aperol Spritz.

17/12/2023: Excellent wines, friendly and knowledgeable hosts, soft atmosphere and perfect music. A different evening in Carso
02/12/2023: Esther's new management is wonderful and it only takes her a few moments to recommend the wine you wanted. The atmosphere is just right, the cicchetti are super good and the porchetta is on another level.

29/11/2023: Se cercate un ristorantino dall’aria famigliare , che serve piatti della tradizione golosi e genuini in un ambiente allegro e informale, con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, allo Sbecolez vi troverete benissimo. Provate il dolce specialità della casa, il gelato con olio d’oliva bianchera, pepe e sale si portano
11/10/2023: Buon ristorante a prezzi competitivi. Baccalà mantecato, insalata con mozzarella di bufala, seppie in umido con polenta, sorbetto al Bailey's, semifreddo al caffè. Acqua e mezzo litro di Zorzettig bianco.
