22/05/2026: An excellent country trattoria with ample parking. We stopped for lunch. The set menu was excellent, with a wide selection of quality ingredients. The service was friendly, all female, and the waitresses were friendly and quick.

12/05/2026: May 2026 €15 fixed lunch menu including a first course, second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee. Quick, professional, and always friendly service. The food was good overall, although the pasta with garlic, oil, and chili pepper was disappointing: it lacked both the bold flavor of the garlic and the spicy note of the chili pepper, and too much oil remained on the bottom of the plate. The second courses and side dishes, however, were better.

03/06/2026: Misleading advertising on the websites, beautiful view and scenic facade of the establishment. Luckily, I only ate there. The atmosphere is undefinable, unkempt, and the decor is unlikely to be suitable for such a setting. The food, I can't say absolutely bad, but I can't define it. The empty atmosphere, smelling of disinfectant, and a shabby menu written on a chalkboard, sometimes indecipherable, certainly made our lunch miserable. I also want to point out that my review was about the establishment and the overall experience, not the staff. P.S. 01/06/2026: We came here on the recommendation of a local, especially for the homemade gnocchi. The place is a classic trattoria, nestled in the valley between the Friulian Dolomites. We had a mixed antipasto of local cured meats and cheese, tagliatelle with duck ragù (white), gnocchi with ragù, wild boar cheek, goulash, frico and polenta, strudel, house white wine, coffee, and their homemade amaro (free). €25 per person. Everything was delicious, excellent value. Very friendly staff, and ample parking next to the restaurant. Well done!

I'm used to answering politely when asked questions politely. In any case, the meal was good, and I recommend going...perhaps without asking too many questions. 😜 The two guys were kind and professional.

23/05/2026: We had dinner on a Saturday evening, a couple of us plus a child, having found this agriturismo somewhat by chance and booked at short notice. We were very pleased with the dinner; the dishes were delicious and the portions generous, even the child enjoyed them. The service was prompt, and we found the prices reasonable for the quality of the dishes. The owners were very kind and friendly, chatting and sharing the behind-the-scenes stories of working at the agriturismo, harvesting kiwis and cultivating their heirloom apples. A wonderful experience and excellent food, highly recommended.

23/05/2026: This place has several Benito Mussolini memorabilia. I abhor it, I disgust it, I'm sorry. That said, I've eaten very well at this very place. Excellent, generous, and carefully crafted dishes, truly made with love and skill. I think they're the best cjarsons I've ever had, a rabbit stew that's worth eating, and an excellent frico. The atmosphere is vintage and welcoming, surrounded by greenery, with the option of going to look at the goats, and the staff is super kind and warm. A special note on the child-friendly service: a large changing table in the bathroom, a high chair, cutlery, and a plastic cup. Those little things that make you feel welcome.

18/02/2026: I visited Afro on Sundays at noon. Entering this restaurant is like taking a dive into the roots of Friuli. Everything here speaks of Friuli: the staff, the dishes served, and the atmosphere. Here, you can taste Coradazzi Prosciutto sliced ​​with a flywheel slicer, a cutting system that enhances the flavor of the prosciutto like no other. You can see the slicer in the main room, all red and shiny, proudly displayed.

You can have lunch, dinner, an aperitif, and purchase saffron-based products. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and very attentive to customer requests. The prices are more than fair, and the quality of the products is excellent. If you find yourself in Polcenigo, this is a must-visit.

29/05/2026: Good morning. We have visited this hostel twice now, staying for a week each time, most recently from May 10th to May 17th, 2026. Our stay on both occasions has been incredible, thanks to its location, rooms, cleanliness, and excellent food. We would certainly return to stay here in the future. All the staff members deserve our appreciation, especially Mr. Simone, Mr. Luca, and Mrs. Valentina, among others. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME AND ENJOY THE SURROUNDINGS, WHICH YOU CAN ENJOY BY WALKING.

20/04/2026: We've been customers for a long time, and the pizza is always excellent and high-quality. However, on Sunday evening, we happened to have some extremely rude people at a nearby table. While we waited an hour for our pizzas, they yelled and screamed, both kids and their parents. It was unbearable.
