10/12/2025: Last weekend of November 2025. Two of us enter (the second person knows and frequents the place occasionally). I'm not from the area, but I've been frequenting Friuli Venezia Giulia for over 40 years for various reasons. The second person very kindly suggests I go there for an aperitif and try the Tre Corone meatballs. We enter around 6:30 pm and, knowing that the place takes reservations for dinner, we politely ask one of the staff if it's possible to do so without disturbing us during dinner time. A staff member replies that it's no problem and seats us just inside, about ten meters from the counter on the right. A "very friendly" bald staff member comes to serve us, and in a very curt and unsympathetic manner asks us what we'd like to drink. We order a glass of FRIULANO and a PINOT NERO, a plate of Bagatto cold cuts, and two meatballs. Shortly afterward, the same "very nice" guy served us, looking very annoyed, as if having an aperitif had bothered him and we'd stolen the place from some late dinner party. The plate of prosciutto (a veil), he supposed, weighed 40-50 grams maximum, while the two meatballs were standard. After we finished the generous plate of prosciutto, the same "very nice" guy took our plates away without asking if we wanted anything else. After 10-15 minutes, no one showed up again. I went to pay, and a kind young man asked me if everything was okay. I calmly replied, with a half-smile and a "subtle" reply, also apologizing so as not to sound too blunt, that I was quite disappointed by the size of the prosciutto (the flavor of which I don't even remember...), and by the size of the two glasses of wine we were served compared to what two other customers (customers they knew) were holding. The guy at the cash register was very kind, apologizing for the fact that we weren't happy with the service, but that the portions were adequate, both for the drinks and for the "ham," which they regularly weigh before bringing it to the table. I retorted that I didn't come in to speculate on the cost of my groceries, but that I would have thought someone would have cared if we still wanted something, and that we were rightly paying for it. Aside from the cash register's renewed apologies, which I thank for his courtesy in explaining his points, we left feeling absolutely astonished by such service (the bald man was as friendly as sand in a swimsuit on the beach). The location is very nice, the food was very small for the price, but of sufficient quality. What we couldn't stand was having our plates taken away without asking, with the place still half empty... I definitely won't be returning. 👎 Maybe we'll go to some place in the city under new management to try it... a word to the wise.

22/09/2025: We stayed for two nights. The place is very quiet, the rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need. Compliments for the breakfast, especially the cakes. We also tried the restaurant, which served simple but truly excellent Friulian cuisine. The owner was very friendly and empathetic.

29/10/2025: Lunch with an older couple. I had a truly wonderful day. A very quiet place, run by a welcoming family. We had to wait a bit, but the lunch was really good, especially the cacio-pepe pasta and the dessert at the end. Not too expensive either. Worth a visit!

16/12/2025: A good restaurant with an Alpine feel. Excellent food, especially the polenta and meat. The frico and mushrooms are very good. The homemade desserts are excellent. Restaurant near Lake Barcis. Reservations are required.

16/12/2025: A very nice restaurant. A varied menu, including specialty dishes to suit all tastes. Prompt, courteous, and very professional service. Excellent value. The location, adjacent to Lake Barcis, offers a beautiful view. I recommend arriving early for lunch to take a lovely walk around the lake (very easy and lasts about an hour and a half). Definitely worth a visit.

14/12/2025: We recently had a company dinner and I have to give a super positive review for the service, especially to Sara, who was very attentive to me and a colleague of mine, both of whom are celiacs, and who looked after us from the beginning to the end of the dinner. 5 stars to Sara.

12/11/2025: Fabulous experience. We had polenta, pasta dishes, and main courses. Everything was truly excellent and plentiful. A lovely, welcoming place in the center of San Vito al Tagliamento. I think this is the first time I've enjoyed everything divinely, from the first course to the last. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!!!

07/12/2025: I actually stopped to buy cigarettes and found a tavern with a very interesting menu that I'll definitely try after tasting some excellent homemade crostine, which were truly delicious. I'll definitely be back to try the typical local cuisine, which piqued my curiosity... and so it was!!!! After several attempts because the restaurant is very busy and always fully booked, my husband and I finally managed to go for dinner, and our expectations were certainly lower than the culinary experience we had! From the appetizers. They're not visible in the photos because we didn't even have time to put them on the table because they were so delicious, we tried the baked radicchio "concia con formaggio" (topped with cheese), the best I've ever tasted. For the first course, there was a trio of gnocchi, where choosing became a bit complicated just because of the presentation of the flavors and toppings offered. Light with delicate flavors and combinations, and with that unique homemade flavor, from the mushrooms to the ragù to the fillings, with truly excellent flavor contrasts. What can I say about the main courses? Every suggestion should have been sampled... And the rest? Well, a good bottle of Pinot Noir that paired perfectly with the dishes offered, at a more than fair price. The setting was intimate, with just the right amount of seating to ensure quick and attentive service. The quality and prices were definitely fair for what we tasted, and we ate a lot. In short, excellent cuisine, a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere typical of a family-run business, a place for lovers of good home cooking with that extra touch. We found our restaurant close to home where you feel at home. A very pleasant evening, also accompanied by the opportunity to bring our Golden Accomodation in the best possible way. Finally, thanks to "Vanni" for his impeccable service, his prompt and friendly recommendation of dishes. Thanks to all the staff for the excellent dinner. Highly recommended, but book in advance because it's often fully booked, because you can tell! Thank you

22/11/2025: Everything was perfect: - local, friendly, and fun staff - excellent food (the gnocchi dish is highly recommended) - small and cozy atmosphere, thanks in part to the fireplace.

16/11/2025: We booked for 4 people... friendly and welcoming staff... we ate pizza and dessert... very good... I really liked the dough... the tiramisu dessert was excellent... and the meringue... I recommend it... reasonable price

22/09/2025: We arrived as a couple, without a reservation, at 9 pm on a Saturday evening, and we found a table right away despite it being quite busy. Excellent selection of pizzas. After ordering, they arrived in less than 15 minutes, and were very easy to digest. We'll definitely be back.

26/11/2025: I visited this restaurant for dinner. The prices seemed truly exorbitant for the quality of the food, which was rather mediocre. Especially for a plate of just four ravioli, €16 seems absurd. The tiramisu had a strange aftertaste, almost like stale or dirty dishwasher. The young female staff was very kind, but the older woman seemed agitated and surly, even towards her own staff, and this in front of customers: something I find quite problematic. As a foreign customer, I also noticed a difference in treatment, with unpleasant looks, especially from the older woman. Her glances conveyed an attitude that, unfortunately, seemed racist. I would not recommend this restaurant at all to anyone who wants to eat well and feel well treated.
