20/07/2026: A historic restaurant in the center of Pordenone. The pizza, unfortunately small, is well-seasoned and very easy to digest. The Nicoise salad is excellent. Some portions are truly small (the pasta dishes and the mixed grilled fish, for example), others are adequate. Overall, the food is good.

20/07/2026: After an unforgettable dinner in Pordenone the night before, the next day In went for lunch and Alla Catina proved it wasn't a one-hit wonder. I ordered the Carbonara, and it was everything you hope for when eating pasta in Italy. Fresh, homemade pasta with the perfect bite, coated in a rich, silky sauce that was beautifully balanced. No unnecessary twists or gimmicks, just honest Italian cooking done exceptionally well. To go with it, I had a glass of the local Friuli Pinot Grigio, which was excellent. Fresh, crisp and the perfect pairing for the meal. Once again, the local wines did not disappoint. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we walked in. Service was relaxed, attentive and exactly what you hope to find in a traditional Italian restaurant. As someone who spends much of the year travelling the world on tour, I've learned that the best meals are often the simplest ones, provided they're made with great ingredients and genuine passion. Alla Catina is a perfect example of that. If you're in Pordenone and looking for authentic Italian food, put this place on your list. Fresh homemade pasta, excellent local wine, friendly people and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay for one more glass.

19/02/2026: We had lunch at Il Posocchino in Pordenone for a business lunch, which, honestly, was anything but a business lunch: the food was fantastic! For just €16, we enjoyed a full express meal, cooked to order, and there was also a menu with three fish dishes of the day, perfect for Lent. We had a great time: generous portions, top quality, and a perfectly fair price. Highly recommended.

14/02/2026: We had lunch at Posocchino and had a very positive experience. The entrance is through the bar, and the interior walls are decorated with numerous paintings of famous people eating: an original detail that makes the atmosphere both interesting and pleasant. We had a portion of battered sardines, a pacchero with scallops, a cjalcions, a coffee cream, and a portion of fritters. We also had prosecco, water, and a coffee. The bill was €57.50. The food was very good, carefully prepared, and of high quality; the only complaint is that the portions are rather small. The waitresses were very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Overall, I recommend this restaurant, especially for the quality of the ingredients and the welcoming atmosphere. Seating is limited, so I recommend booking in advance.

03/07/2026: I stopped in for lunch out of curiosity, after seeing the ad on social media. Good food with generous portions, friendly and attentive staff, reasonable wait times, and excellent prices. I'll be back.

06/06/2026: We ate the fixed menu on Saturday, March 22, 2026, at noon. The room dedicated to the fixed menu was very large, different from the restaurant room. Generous first courses. Fresh. Delicious. Large free parking lot, even for trucks. You can eat in peace, without annoying music. Thank you. Highly recommended.

13/03/2026: Good morning, a truly beautiful, clean place with very, very polite people ❤️ Plus, I arrived late at night, 9:40 PM, and they were still available, most importantly, and the food was excellent at very reasonable prices! There really aren't many places around at this level, and I'm a truck driver. Thank you for your hospitality!!!!

We waited quite a long time to get a table, like 7 minutes, incredibly hot and absurd, but the air conditioning was there but they didn't attack it. The price was a bit too expensive, €81 for 3 people, they eat a normal, extensive menu but the offer, I think, wasn't much food for the workers, very hot, the price was a bit exaggerated.

18/02/2026: The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet, the owners are friendly and helpful, although in my case the service wasn't impeccable. The traditional dishes are well-prepared and generously portioned.

15/02/2026: I appreciate the Curtif restaurant because it offers attentive service, good food, and a welcoming, intimate atmosphere. You can taste and see the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend it.

23/05/2026: A lovely, welcoming trattoria with an outdoor terrace with a view. I hate to say it, but I expected more—much more—from the food, especially since it didn't do justice to the place. I only tried one dish, a tough pork rib, served with two baked potatoes (two of them), so I don't want to be a defeatist and I think it deserves a second chance. Try it and post your honest opinion.

30/03/2026: Excellent food, despite the takeout option. Often, the quality is compromised when it's brought home, but in this case, it's always freshly baked! Very attentive service, and if there are significant delays, which can happen, they apologize by giving you a free gift or adding portions of fries. I recommend preparing something for celiacs as well, as their mixed grill is amazing, and missing out on serving those who have this problem due to cross-contamination is a shame. In the end, just a few simple measures are enough to expand your clientele without excluding anyone.
