28/10/2025: A very cozy restaurant where you immediately feel welcome after a friendly greeting. The food was sensational. The soft piano music in the background made it possible to truly relax. This is exactly the kind of place we like to dine. Da Piero is a must for all fish and seafood lovers.

08/09/2025: We stopped there by chance with the whole family; The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. The gelato was truly amazing and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: I went for dinner with my partner and our 5-year-old daughter. The place isn't very big, but it was quite crowded with people enjoying an aperitivo, and they had reserved a table for us a bit off to the side. We ate really well, everything was delicious, the waitresses were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the wine was good.

08/01/2026: In the square of Sant’Andrea, a peripheral district but still a short distance from the center of Gorizia, there is one of the traditional trattorias that offers typical and traditional foods. The portions are abundant and the cuisine is varied and very tasty. There is no search for an apparently high-quality presentation and portions of a few bites but attention is paid to the substance and quality The fried chicken is a spectacular workhorse but the soups, gnocchi and grilled meats are no less Good local wines and the house wine is also good. Draft and bottled beer Good desserts, always from the local tradition At midday, a fixed-price lunch for workers, also of good quality In summer you can eat in the garden in the shade A place to visit!

08/01/2026: We call for lunch and are told no reservations are necessary. We arrive and the rooms are almost full; they make us wait at the door separating the two rooms. Meanwhile, more people enter and are shown to their seats. Finally, they seat us at a table. The owner comes and takes our orders. Three more tables are set up after us. He comes and takes our orders. They bring the dishes ordered TO THEM, but not to us. After an hour of waiting, we flag down a waitress, who says she'll check, and disappears. We flag down another, and after AN HOUR AND TEN minutes, the dishes finally arrive. Cold potatoes. We didn't order coffee or dessert; we ran away. It's a shame; it used to be worth it if only for the fried chicken, but now, frankly, it's not.

29/11/2025: A delightful dinner at this historic trattoria in the center of Cormons. Traditional dishes with a touch of originality, along with expertly crafted innovative dishes. Everything is delicious on a menu where you're spoiled for choice. A good selection of wines, mostly local. The service is attentive and friendly, and the owner is truly skilled at his craft. A pleasant atmosphere. The bill is unsurprising.

29/12/2025: Today, after years, decades, I came for lunch with friends. The place remains as it once was, with excellent service and a wide selection of traditional dishes, including the very special rooster ragù. Excellent wine. Truly enjoyable.

29/11/2025: Had dinner at this trattoria. There's ample outdoor parking. The interior is well-maintained, and the exposed beams and furnishings create a warm atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and offers recommendations for typical local dishes, including game dishes. I tried the house trio, which was excellent, and since I wasn't sure what to order, they kindly offered me a taste of both. The pork cheeks were excellent, and the wild boar was superb. Great prices. A top-notch experience. I'll gladly return and recommend it both for the food and the attentive, friendly service.

20/01/2026: We love this historic pastry shop in the center of Monfalcone. The location is beautiful and the staff is truly friendly. They have excellent products and a display case/refrigerator full of inviting and varied pastries that are always tempting. The artisanal pizzas are delicious, made with sourdough and high-quality ingredients, and in my opinion, well tolerated even by those with gluten sensitivities. As are the very tasty toasted sandwiches. They have an excellent selection of wines to accompany their delicacies. In short, a place we recommend! ☺️

07/01/2026: Dinner for two on December 30, 2025. Wide selection of dishes, friendly service, and reasonable wait times for the crowded restaurant and the dishes chosen, evidently freshly prepared to ensure excellent quality. Highly recommended.

11/01/2026: Let's say I booked this restaurant after looking at the reviews and the online menu, which featured fish-based starters, tuna, swordfish, and sea bass—well, fish. When I got there, the food was good, but for me, it's neither a fish nor a meat restaurant. So, disappointing.

30/12/2025: It is the 30th of December 2025. Google tells me that this restaurant is open. It is closed nicely for the season. Likely for some weeks. A problem for Google or the restaurant?

07/01/2026: A place with a fireplace and very tasteful "grandma's house" decor. We ate well for a reasonable price. Attentive staff. A must-visit if you're in the area!

06/01/2026: Very nice place with good food. The only problem I've personally encountered is that they too often forget to give change or give the wrong one. Unfortunately, from talking to other customers, this isn't an isolated incident. Since it's not the first time, I don't think I'll be back.

05/01/2026: For four people. Served two pizzas at a time. Once the first two were finished, the second ones arrived. Unacceptable. Even though two were gluten-free, you need to find the right timing to serve the entire table, not 20 minutes apart.
