Everything was truly delicious, with a choice of three first courses, three second courses, and three side dishes, or pizza, including a drink and coffee. The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. The place, which I remembered as "Le Casate," was lovely. We'll probably go back for dinner next time. Well done, guys, keep up the good work.

28/09/2025: An extraordinary experience. Mario was attentive and thoughtful, especially towards the needs of a pregnant woman. The dishes were exceptional: incredibly flavorful ziti allo scarpariello and a simply phenomenal spaghetti with cacio, pepe, and truffle, among the best I've ever had. The desserts also did not disappoint, maintaining the same level of quality. A restaurant that deserves a visit without hesitation.

23/08/2025: I had breakfast with a cream brioche and cappuccino. Unfortunately, the brioche was from the day before. The cream was sandy and obviously dry, and the pastry was damp. This is unacceptable treatment for a bakery/pastry shop/bistro that wants to project a VIP image with VIP prices. Instead of giving away unsold products, they pass them off to you the next day. Plus, the waitress even tried to convince me they were all fresh! Luckily, her colleague, more professional and intelligent, apologized and didn't charge me for the brioche. So be careful if you go there early in the morning. I'm adding my review to respond to the "gentleman/lady" who responded: threatening and using aggressive language certainly doesn't do them any favors. A professional must be able to accept criticism, not just be happy about the 5-star rating, especially since I had ordered a cream brioche to go, and it was absolutely nothing like the one served. The cream was shiny, smooth, and not sandy... but the takeaway one was on a tray fresh from the lab. I'm sorry, but if you're not capable of addressing a criticism in a positive and proactive manner, that's not my problem. Also, someone else questioned the freshness of some items, but the response wasn't as forceful and aggressive. Given the arrogance and rudeness, even 0 stars.

27/09/2025: Let's start by saying that both the tartare and the rib steak were truly excellent. Now let's consider the rest. The fact that they don't have beer, not even bottled, is a legitimate choice, but, as it was for me, it can be a bit disconcerting. When I ordered, I asked for a bottle of red wine, but it didn't come with the tartare. When they took the dish away, I didn't have time to ask, and only when the rib steak arrived did I mention it (I would have liked to sip wine throughout the meal, not just at the end). When I got the bill, I found it high (higher than I expected). In the car, I checked the receipt again and found the tartare had been priced at €75 instead of €18. I must emphasize that they promptly and apologetically refunded me the difference. In conclusion, the food is excellent, but given the level and price range they're aiming for, two setbacks are unacceptable.

22/09/2025: A lovingly designed new building with sparkling clean rooms, which were meticulously cleaned again after our three-day stay, including a change of linen. The service was equally attentive. Since the attached restaurant was unfortunately closed during our visit in September, we received a recommendation for a neighboring tavern; they kindly made a reservation for us. All in all, it was a truly wonderful vacation—not least thanks to the excellent management of our hosts!

15/06/2025: Lunch for three, everything excellent, home cooking but with a touch of originality. Really recommended.

10/08/2025: A beautiful, recently renovated venue with outdoor seating, expertly crafted cocktails using quality ingredients, a good selection of wines (including the Canevel Prosecco) and beers, and service that lives up to expectations. The specialty platters are also available.

14/09/2025: Dinner with my husband. They advised us against ordering pizza because there was a long wait, so we opted for two Nicoise salads (egg, lettuce, tomato, olive pâté, prawns, mozzarella, tuna, and corn). It's €12 per portion. A bottle of mini fizz is €3... the exaggeration is the €2.50 cover charge for two (€5). It's truly exaggerated!!!! I don't think I'll go there again.

09/09/2025: Filthy! We ordered two inedible pasta dishes. Spaghetti all'olio with frozen fish and the eye of the shrimp on the plate. I left everything after finding the eye on my plate. My husband left all the fish. We politely pointed this out and still paid €37.50!

14/09/2025: It feels like you're not in the center of Grado, especially considering the reasonable prices!!! We've had the pizza several times; it's good, easy to digest, large, and well-stocked. We've sat outside, which is quite comfortable, with ample space even for wheelchairs. The service was friendly and courteous, and fairly quick. We've recommended the place to other friends, who have also enjoyed it, especially for the fair prices. We'll continue to go there.

25/07/2025: Gradevolissimo locale in mezzo alle vigne, con tavoli anche all'aperto tra gli alberi. Personale accogliente e gentilissimo. Menù del territorio con cucina tradizionale e spunti creativi interessanti ( gazpacho con ricotta frant, spinacine con uovo sodo e cipolla croccante). Molto piacevole la formula della grigliata mista: portano una tipologia di carne alla volta, così si mangia caldo e si può decidere quando basta. Bistecca di roastbeef da 30 e lode, cuberoll e hamburger di chianina da 30. Vini locali a km0. Prezzi ragionevoli.

02/04/2025: Il locale è stato una vera sorpresa, in modo positivo. Estremamente piccolo con pochissimi coperti nel periodo invernale, presumo che nel periodo estivo ci siano più tavoli. La cucina è semplice ma curatissima e con ottimi prodotti, soprattutto per carnivori. Il servizio è cordiale e puntuale. Rapporto qualità-prezzo corretto.

19/09/2025: The most unfriendly service I've ever experienced. The elderly gentleman seemed to want to put us in the restroom, the way he reacted. The menus were slammed down on the table in front of us without any further attention. Our table neighbors spoke of similar experiences. The pizza was mediocre, the fish very good. Wouldn't come here again.

16/09/2025: We've been going to Bella Grado for years; there's never been a change of ownership, and you can't make reservations! If you like Italian food and Italian charm, this is the place for you. For me, they have the best spaghetti carbonara in the world! We've been here with larger groups, and no one has had any complaints about the food; in fact, everything has always been excellent.
