28/06/2026: Outside the restaurant, a sign invites you to leave a good review if you're satisfied with the place. I'm sorry, but today we played the "Requiem Mass" for this historic restaurant, which was run admirably until a few years ago by an excellent family. Now, however, we have been, despite ourselves, helpless spectators of a genuine disaster! We arrived tired and exhausted from a rather busy Sunday, expecting to find a welcoming, air-conditioned environment, service, and food worthy of this historic establishment, but our expectations were quickly dashed. In the area where our table was reserved, the internal thermometer read a temperature ranging between 29 and 30 degrees. We politely asked, like other customers, for the air conditioning to be turned up, either lowering the temperature or increasing the ventilation, but instead of complying with our requests, we were given excuses that were, to say the least, completely illogical! The menu is a jumble of meat and fish dishes, written haphazardly. We opted, however, for three identical appetizers and three identical main courses. In both cases, the ingredients were inconsistent, didn't pair well, and there was no common thread connecting them on the plate. The egg mousse was watered down, accompanied by salad, burrata, and a crispy speck leaf that tasted like nothing. The main course, the only meat dish on the entire menu, was roast suckling pig, tough and bland, accompanied by the inevitable burrata, almonds, and a few extravagant sauces in a vain attempt to smooth out the flavor! Before even ordering this last dish, we asked if there was a sliced ​​steak or a steak available, but we were categorically told that these dishes were not available. After eating—certainly not for the pleasure of eating, but simply to satiate our hunger pangs—tired, hot, and dissatisfied, we paid the bill, which didn't exactly reflect the quality/price ratio for the food and service we received, and quickly left. Enjoy your life!

20/06/2026: We had a terrific meal at this wonderful find tucked away in an alleyway, discovered by noticing a discreet sandwich board on the street of our hotel. Walked into the courtyard the alley opened out into to discover this wonderful eating area under an extensive canopy. We’d wandered in early to see if we. Might make a booking and a very friendly waitress was there setting up. We asked what time they opened and whether we could make a booking. She said no problem and we were so glad we could get a space. The mains were fantastic, service was excellent. My wife, who is a tiramisu aficionado, thought this iteration wasn’t as good as the one she gets in a little restaurant back home in Hobart, but my cioccolato desert was eye-popping good. And we both had a glass of a local white wine that was great too. If we are ever back in Sežana this is definitely where we will have dinner!

10/08/2026: I was not at all satisfied. The staff were annoyed and aggressive, and the dishes were slammed down on the table with extreme roughness. The only polite person was probably the owner, who seemed much calmer and friendlier. The food was disappointing: The large fish was simply shoved into the oven whole – neither filleted nor deboned. It was just baked without any flavor or seasoning. The side dishes looked like leftovers from other plates. It's absolutely not worth the price. As for the sardines: The 11 small fish tried to salvage what they could, but they didn't seem to be cooked through properly. As for the value for money: 13 euros for 11 tiny fish – I'll leave that up to you to decide. The pizza was a complete disappointment. The only polite person was probably the owner, who seemed a bit more grounded and friendly. ​As for the food, the big fish was put straight into the oven as it was—not filleted, bones not removed, just cooked blindly with zero taste or seasoning. The side garnishes looked like leftover scraps from other orders. It's definitely not worth the price. ​Regarding the sardines: the 11 small fish did their best, but they felt undercooked. Speaking of value for money, 13 euros for 11 tiny fish—I'll leave the judgment to you. The pizza was pure regret. I guess the only good thing was the water ;) Non sono per niente soddisfatto. 02/05/2026: Family lunch for 6. Spectacular mussel piri piri, as were the gratin dishes. Long wait, but satisfied. Risotto and another first course were both very good. Grilled fish was good, but not exceptional. Normal price.

30/01/2026: I discovered this quaint osteria too late. I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the waitress and owner. My first meal was ravioli with leek and sausage, and I also tried the spaghetti with the famous Gorizia rose. Everything was homemade and excellent. I also had an entrecote with spinach, which I found to be fresh and authentic. The overall review is overwhelmingly positive. A place to return to.

01/06/2026: A beautiful agriturismo surrounded by nature. Ideal for birthdays, parties, and informal business dinners. Outside, there's a covered area adjacent to a large, well-kept lawn where children can run and play. The surrounding vineyards provide a stunning backdrop. I didn't visit the interior, having attended an outdoor event. For food, I tried a focaccia filled with stracchino and cooked tomato, another with peppers, a Margherita pizza with four flavors, cold pasta, and a Lubianska with chips. I enjoyed everything.

17/05/2026: Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. Tasty dishes with generous portions. The wine bar offers excellent wines, including their own. The appetizers are also very good. Perfect for aperitifs with friends. Highly recommended!!

21/08/2026: A place with a family atmosphere. Excellent, varied pizzas in gluten and dairy-free versions. The bonus is the Hungarian-speaking server who is very helpful, attentive and puts the guest first. I can only recommend the restaurant, we will be back.😊

20/05/2026: Although we hadn't made a reservation and the place was quite busy, we were offered a table in the restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly. Besides water, we also had the house wine, which was delicious. For our meal, we chose the fish fillet of the day and the fritto misto. Both were expertly prepared and very tasty. Zero Miglia is highly recommended.

20/05/2026: After taking a little longer to choose our menu, the server was already a bit annoyed. My husband tried to order in Italian, which didn't go down well at all... The appetizer was okay, but we failed to get any olive oil. We spoke to the server ourselves, and she gave us a curt reply. The oil did arrive, but it was slammed down on the table. The main course was very good. The first waiter answered positively when we asked for pepper, but didn't bring it... It only came after we insisted a second time. Overall, the staff makes you wonder if they're in the right place... It's a shame, we've been going to this restaurant for years...

16/08/2026: Seven of us dined and booked in advance for 9:00 PM. We arrived promptly at 9:00 PM, they took our order, and we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for the food to be served. This seemed a bit excessive, especially considering that after the long wait, we ate some very burnt pork ribs. Otherwise, the atmosphere wasn't bad. The blonde waitress was very nice and respectful.
