16/02/2025: We had dinner at this very nice place that I can't wait to visit in the spring in the sunlight! The dishes were simple traditional local dishes made with care and attention. Honest quality-price ratio considering the times we live in, for appetizer, second course, side dish and 2 glasses around 30 euros. Personally I loved that they had liver on the menu, I love it!!!

16/02/2025: This was a well ahead planned dinner with my family. We made a reservation 10 days in advance. When we arrived at the restaurant we were surprised that our reservation was missing and we did not get a table. We had to leave with two hungry children and to search for alternatives ... :(

16/02/2025: My daughter and grandchildren invited me to Sunday dinner. We had already planned the meeting for a long time. Unfortunately our reservation was forgotten and we had to quickly find something else with the hungry grandchildren. A sad Sunday for us.

09/03/2025: We went to eat on March 8th. We took a shovel for two with two flavors, one with porchetta and caramelized onion and the second flavor was among those on the winter menu with pumpkin. They were delicious, the shovel was nice and full, very well made. For dessert we had the pistachio tiramisu and the mimosa cake. The first one left us a little disappointed because we didn't smell pistachio, but the mimosa cake was simply incredible. The staff was very friendly, the waitresses wished me happy women's day and together with the pieces of the shovel to take home they also left me some mimosas. We were very pleased with both the quality of the products and the environment

16/02/2025: We went to Grado for lunch on a Sunday with a beautiful sunny day and quite warm (10 degrees) and obviously the world was there. We end up in this restaurant because they were all full and it's close to where I have my house. Unfortunately it was full inside but they told us we could eat outside with the infrared lamp. They were very kind because it was really full and it was almost 2. We ate outside and it was fine and we ate very well. The lady is from Grado and is very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back this summer.

23/03/2025: We stayed two nights at the weekend, the room was clean, tidy and taken care of down to the smallest detail, we ate lunch and dinner: excellent cuisine accompanied by good quality beer and wine!! The two girls who run the place are very kind I recommend it to everyone.

23/02/2025: Wine restaurant with a very bright room, elegant but without excess, it still conveys a family atmosphere. Typical local cuisine, served with great precision and attention. I took the sardines with mayonnaise (perfectly fried); the trifle is also impeccable. Very honest price.

18/02/2025: Unsure what to do over the weekend I decided to book here to try a proper Florentine steak. The place is undoubtedly welcoming, refined and characteristic for its fireplace, in the middle of the room, on which the meat is cooked. The latter is of excellent quality and the reputation of this restaurant has certainly met my expectations, the room service is friendly, competent and certainly knowledgeable in the matter. However, I am not leaving 5 stars because, on the advice of the waiter himself, I took a cut of rib instead of the Florentine as it would have been tastier. It was certainly a good choice but in the end I was charged the same cost as a Florentine steak, i.e. €1 per hg more. I also found the desserts more expensive than average (but this is definitely my conjecture). It's not so much about the cost, because it was still a gift for Valentine's Day and I don't even regret the money spent because we ate well, however I recommend paying more attention to these things because someone else might not like the surprise.

08/02/2025: The grill positioned in the center of the room makes everything more engaging. The quality of the dishes is good and the prices are in line with the offer. The rib had an edge.

09/10/2024: Lunedì 07 ottobre 2024, prenotato per pranzo tra vecchi amici (sette persone), in questo ristorantino ai piedi del colle della Rocca di Monfalcone. Che dire…Una inaspettata meraviglia per tutti i commensali!!! Cortesia, educazione e disponibilità uniche, molto ben unite ad una professionalità molto apprezzata. Pulizia degli ambienti al top. Qualità dei cibi ottima e quantità più che abbondanti, di una cucina che rimandava ad antichi sapori casalinghi, ormai difficili da reperire. Assaporato dei gustosissimi Gnocchi con Gulasch (slurp!!!), delle tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, Jota triestina. Secondi di Lubianska con ajvar, calamari fritti, gamberi arrosto, con contorno di patatine fritte e verdure. Come dolci, eccezionale la crostata ai frutti di bosco. Mezzo litro vino bianco, acqua minerale, caffè, grappa e slivovitz. Prezzo onestissimo, quantificabile in circa 30 euro a testa. Assolutamente da riprovare. ASSOLUTAMENTE consigliato P.S.: Non ci sono foto perché nella fretta di assaporare le pietanze, che al solo guardarle ispiravano a un goloso unico, nessuno di noi ha pensato al cellulare...
