12/06/2025: Nice Italian fish restaurant. A large Italian clientele. The staff speaks good English. Dogs are allowed. The food was excellent. Fresh fish from the daily catch, hence the daily changing menu. We had two starters (2 for about €15) and the fish platter for two for €54.

08/05/2025: I had dinner with a friend in this CasaVersa place which in the past has certainly seen better times, potentially the restaurant would be nice but unfortunately very poorly maintained starting from the toilet with broken sink and hole in the floor, the paper napkins, the opaque glasses and in general everything quite neglected, From the menu we ordered some drumsticks with good ragù, but my second course of baked pork ribs seemed more like boiled meat, plus between the fat, sinews and bones there was very little to eat, If the service is a bit like "long live the parish priest", the bill certainly isn't, 2 first courses / 2 second courses / 1 bottle of water / 1 liter of loose battle wine / 2 coffees / 1 bitter = around €70

31/05/2025: Super delicious bakery and excellent service. Very friendly and attentive. The dishes we had were incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced. We felt very comfortable. Even our dog got a little treat.

04/06/2025: In the square of Sant’Andrea, a peripheral district but still a short distance from the center of Gorizia, there is one of the traditional trattorias that offers typical and traditional foods. The portions are abundant and the cuisine is varied and very tasty. There is no search for an apparently high-quality presentation and portions of a few bites but attention is paid to the substance and quality The fried chicken is a spectacular workhorse but the soups, gnocchi and grilled meats are no less Good local wines and the house wine is also good. Draft and bottled beer Good desserts, always from the local tradition At midday, a fixed-price lunch for workers, also of good quality In summer you can eat in the garden in the shade A place to visit!

01/06/2025: We arrived in front of the place at 11:30, to have a look and see if there was room to leave the bikes. We didn't even take our foot off the pedal, when the lady who was preparing the tables told us "we are still closed", without a "good morning", and made us lose the desire to ask if there was room. Too bad, because we will never know how they eat, but, luckily in Gorizia there are many other places

29/03/2025: 29.3.25 - latest review: I returned after a long time and I can confirm that the food is very good. I highly recommend it for a quick and excellent lunch. Old review - Trattoria with abundant and genuine dishes. Fast service. Crowded for lunch by workers throughout the week. The dishes change daily. Usually 4/5 first courses, 4/5 second courses plus 3 or 4 side dishes. The menu is available on the blackboard positioned inside or outside the restaurant, but is still listed and explained well by the waitresses. The sandwich menu is not very publicized but is always available. Reasonable prices.

17/06/2025: Nice atmosphere, friendly and fast service. We were not enthusiastic about the hamburger (too much bread and cheese compared to the rest), nor the pizza (the dough) nor the sandwich (tasteless, dry, without sauce).

26/06/2025: The restaurant is beautifully situated by the water. Unfortunately, it was too hot for us (we had a reservation for 8 p.m. and the outside temperature was 29 degrees Celsius). Our table was completely exposed to the sun. The service was very attentive and they spoke German. The food was very good and the prices were in keeping with the ambience.
