30/04/2026: Osteria with outdoor seating in the center of Udine. Very crowded for aperitifs, especially among young people. Potatoes are a local favorite, as are frittatas. There are several outdoor tables, weather permitting. However, there are also mushrooms for outdoor heating. Inside, there are several small tables, suitable for groups of up to six. You can also enjoy a full dinner, which is of good quality. Always a pleasure to frequent this place.
23/03/2026: Our request: 2 Americanos, 2 gingersnaps, and a glass of water for the kids. And some chips to eat during the aperitivo. Two light, concentrated Americanos arrive, along with two gingersnaps, a half-liter bottle of water, baked potatoes, and an omelette (both very salty and not requested, but I thought they were standard bar fare). €38!! Total madness.

06/06/2026: Coming back from Treviso, we stopped here by chance. The place looks like a canteen, but the meat served here is more than good, the prices are fair, and if you need it, Mrs. Elena, you can really relax and enjoy an excellent dinner. We'll definitely be back!

06/04/2026: Ridiculous, half an hour of waiting without any other customers for two plates of pasta with tomato sauce, €10 for three small (dessert) plates of cooked vegetables, without even forks because they had to wash them, a platter of cured meats, and the plates arrived empty because they were out... peperonata eaten with a soup spoon! 5 people, a meager dish each, €73 total. Should be closed immediately due to incompetence and sloppiness.

In generale è un buon bar
24/06/2025: I read that it has a past from Biasetto (Padua), bought 4 mignon (1.8€ each), you can feel that the “hand” would be there, but it lacks a bit of drive, the daring, excellent the raspberry mignon, the best. There is not much choice, I expected more variety, I did not see if they had tramezzini, the savoury seemed “normal” to me, not special, I will try it!

You can immediately sense the attention paid to the selection of raw materials and the use of select ingredients, which truly make a difference in the final result.
The new management, young but with years of experience behind them, demonstrates solid expertise, bringing fresh ideas yet great professionalism.
The offerings are varied and always inviting, with fresh products crafted every day. In particular, the Colomba cakes we recently ate were the best ever: soft, fragrant, and full of flavor, truly exceptional.
A bakery definitely worth a visit!

28/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, with traditional regional cuisine and a very pleasant atmosphere. Mr. Silvano was without a doubt the most courteous waiter I've encountered in all of Italy. This is my third visit to the country, and I've never been served as well as he did. Excellent restaurant, excellent food, and truly fantastic service.

21/03/2026: The triple room booked through Booking.com had a broken number on the front door, barracks-like blankets, a missing shower door, and other worn-out, unmaintained parts. We asked to change rooms and were moved to another room where the windowless bathroom fan didn't work. The room was spacious. The bathroom sink is very low. The key has an unlikely key ring.
The outlets are also not secure.
The bed was very comfortable and clean.
Overall, cleanliness isn't a strong point.
The staff was very friendly.
We didn't have breakfast, but they offered us a free coffee or other hot drink.
There is parking.

17/02/2026: I've been ordering pizza from Mangiafuoco for years and only get it from them. Excellent products. I've tried various pizzas and they're all delicious. Fast delivery and they're super friendly.
