Excellent wine labels! We asked the lady to surprise us with some particular glass and she did, accompanying a plate of phenomenal appetizers. I will be back soon to eat some hot dishes very willingly. Just a tad bit expensive but it really depends on the wines you choose!

After many years we found ourselves in this place. Three generations father son with partner daughter granddaughter. A leap into the past with the always super owner Stefania a mix of memories good wine special ham joined by old friends we hadn't seen in a lifetime. Super top as always, a couple of hours spent like in the old days between chatting and of course excellent wines. Thank you Stefania for these wonderful moments. Don't be fooled by the external appearance of the place, which appears very "slick": the owner treated us as if we were literally guests in her home, she wanted us to taste the things she had done and of which she was most proud, she guided us she goes through the meal from one dish to the next without ordering from the menu in the orthodox way. The dishes were exquisite and prepared with care and let me tell you love. It was a wonderful experience of hospitality and flavors from Friuli and also from the nearby Veneto.

Eravamo a palmanova per caso e abbiamo deciso di fermarci per un aperitivo prima di rientrare . Abbiamo ordinato due ottimi calici di rosso, un tagliere con pancetta salame e prosciutto, delle polpette di carne e un po’ di frico con patate . Tutto molto buono (a parte forse le polpette in cui c’era troppo pan grattato) e il tutto accompagnato dalla cordialità della signora ma effettivamente conto piuttosto salato.

It's a shame that I read the reviews late, which are truthful: the lady, however friendly, tends to bring what she wants, in the quantities she wants, all without being able to receive a menu. Result: ordered a frico and a skewer (+1l of water and a glass of wine) received 2 plates of frico and 2 skewers. Bill: 59 euros. The next table asked for a bottle of wine and received 2, and I didn't hear how it went with the dishes... At least the food was good so I'll give it a pass.

Excellent wines, courteous and smiling staff. Lots of appetizers to accompany the glass of wine. The frico is very good.
